Just steps from the beach with lifeguard-monitored access, this charming 3-bedroom cottage offers the perfect setting for making memories on the Outer Banks. Enjoy the nostalgic charm of a classic OBX beach retreat, combined with modern essentials to make your stay comfortable and relaxing.

Located conveniently close to shopping, dining, and local attractions, you'll be right in the heart of everything while still just moments from the ocean. Rinse off the sand in the outdoor shower before settling in for a peaceful evening with family or friends.

Please note:

No party groups are permitted.
Pets: Must be disclosed at the time of booking. Dogs up to 20 lbs are welcome with approval. A $200 pet fee will be added after confirmation. Unauthorized or undisclosed pets will be charged a fee of $500.
Electric vehicles: Charging is not permitted on the property.
Linens: Bath linens and kitchen towels are provided. Guests must bring their own bed sheets and beach towels.
A starter supply of kitchen essentials is included.
Full-size washer and dryer available in the laundry closet.
HOUSE RULES AND PROPERTY CARE

We ask all guests to treat our home with the same care they would their own.

Before checkout, please:
• Place all trash in designated containers.
• Wash or start the dishwasher for used dishes.
• Leave furniture and décor in their original locations.
• Report any accidental damage that occurs during your stay.

ADDITIONAL CLEANING

The cleaning fee included with your reservation covers normal turnover cleaning between guests. If the property requires excessive cleaning due to unusual conditions, including but not limited to excessive trash, stains, bodily fluids, smoking, unauthorized pets, party-related cleanup, or other conditions beyond normal use, additional cleaning charges may be assessed.

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay beyond normal wear and tear. Repair or replacement costs for damaged items, fixtures, furnishings, appliances, décor, or other property components may be charged through the booking platform in accordance with applicable policies. This was our second time staying at this location. It's a comfortable cottage and is an easy walk to the beach. It is convenient to shopping and attractions. The kitchen is well stocked and the outdoor shower is handy when returning from a day at the beach. Looking forward to visiting again!

I just wanted to reach out and send a sincere thank you for hosting us at your nicely remodeled home in Kill Devil Hills. We had an absolutely wonderful time!Your home was beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Only a 3-5 minute walk to the beach, and very close to stores. House was in a great location 3 minute walk to beach. Very well stocked kitchen and plenty of room in the house. The only issue was the grill didnt work well. We would definitely stay here again

Perfect for family trip

Enjoyed short walks to the beach and close proximity to grocery stores. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils, large and small. Great place to come back to and recharge before heading out to many different nearby activities and attractions

Great location

The house was homey and comfortable. The kitchen was large and had everything we needed. The kitchen and bathroom were newly renovated. The location was great with a short walk to the beach and shopping and attractions nearby.

Clean and convenient

Great location! Quick walk to the beach. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Had a small issue with check-in but was resolved in a timely manner.

Perfect location

This place is a gem. The location is great, just 2 blocks from the beach. The house is spacious, comfortable, and it has everything you need! We grilled, played board games, and ate most of our meals at the house. We will definitely come back!

Love Bacon on the Beach

Pictures do not do the place justice! Very pleasantly surprised when I opened the door! Very easy walk to beach. Convenient to stores, restaurants etc. Would def. stay here again!

Great Beach House

My family and I enjoyed our stay. Walking distance to the beach and close distance to groceries/restaurants/stores. The only downside is theres only one full bathroom in the house. Owner was very responsive which was a huge plus! Highly recommend!

Nice little cottage

The place is very nice, kitchen, bathroom looks new. Everything works well. Very conveniently located. We had a very good time, will definitely go back. Teresa replies promptly to all your emails.

The Deck

This was our third time staying here! The new deck (not pictured in the listing) and new deck furniture was a nice surprise and great addition. We sat out every morning enjoying our coffee and the breeze!

Amazing property and location!

Overall cannot say good enough things about this property. The location is amazing, right near the beach. This is my second time staying and we hope to again. The house is perfect, clean and tidy and has a lot to offer in entertainment. From grilling to books, games and TV you will have a great time at this property. We called the property manager, and she was very friendly, polite, and had all the answers we needed. Will definitely stay there again.

Birthday/Survivor Vacation

Location, Location, Location. This house has it. The floors were sandy when we arrived, but with some quick sweeping it was easy to keep that way. House has all the necessary amenities of home away from home. Great week was enjoyed for wife's birthday and surviving Breast Cancer this year.

4th of July fun

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at Bacon on the Beach. Its a lovely cottage with a lot of character. Feels welcoming and it was super clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Easy short walk to the beach. Jolly Roger Restaurant is close by and our favorite breakfast spot. Close to Food Lion and cottage is located on a street with traffic light which makes it easier to get onto bypass road. Plenty of seating and open floor plan. The deck was very nice with a covered portion over the table and chairs. I thoroughly enjoyed the rocking chairs! Would stay here again.

cute little bacon on the beach

This week, long day with my grandson and his best friend who just graduated high school. The house was more spacious than expected and everything that you would need for a stay was there. The house was clean towels were provided. The only thing I didn’t use was the grill because that was not clean, but that was fine. It’s a really nice neighborhood and only a short walk to the beach. We loved it.

Very convenient

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is conveniently located within a short walking distance of the beach. I also really liked that there's a grocery store (Food Lion) right by the house (a couple minute driving distance) where I could easily buy the items that I forgot like sunblocks or buy things that I didn't want to pack like a large watermelon, ice cream, etc. This little house had everything we needed for our stay including giant jenga blocks for kids! Had a very nice experience! Thank you!
