On The Mapp #2 is ready for your next OBX vacation! This bright and beachy cottage is conveniently located in the heart of OBX on the soundside at milepost 6 in Kill Devil Hills. Cottage is 3 beds & 2 bath and located on a beach access street and two streets away from beach access with parking! Minutes away from the sound, multi-use trail that runs along Bay Drive, and public gazebo dock that's perfect for watching sunsets.

Great central location for the Outer Banks. We were able to visit Corolla, Duck, Bodie lighthouse, and the Wright Brothers National Memorial. It’s also close enough to the beach.

We absolutely loved our stay! Kyle and Megan were great and so easy to communicate with. The house was perfect for our family of 4. So convenient to the beaches, shopping and great restaurants. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in this area of OBX

Exceeded our expectations

Kyle and Megan were perfect host and truly have a lovely place. They’ve thought of everything and even a few extras. Bright and Beachy describes it to a T! Clean and comfortable, relaxing and roomy, and fun for the family are other descriptives I’d use. We are already planning our next stay.

Great stay at a cute cottage

This cottage was adorable. It was very clean and the owners communicated very well. Easy check in. It was also quiet which my husband and I appreciate. Great location to beach and restaurants. Highly recommend.

OBX weekend

The property was in a perfect location for us. I normally run the half marathon but could not this year and the location allowed us to support all the runners. Clean and well maintained it suited all our needs. Definitely will stay again in the future if available.

Great beach cottage!

Loved staying at this beach cottage! Perfect location for marathon weekend. The welcome gift bag was such a thoughtful touch. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

OBX Dream Vacation

The home is beautiful....light, airy, peaceful, relaxing and extremely accommodating. The location was great and very accessible to restaurants, stores, etc. The Mapps were very friendly and responsive Hosts.

Fun and relaxing beach trip

This place was amazing. So super clean and comfortable. My 2 year old and 8 year old really enjoyed their stay here, as well as the grown ups. Just a great location and well maintained property. We will definitely be back!!!

Immaculate Cottage

We loved our stay at this cute cottage in Kill Devil Hills. The property was clean, conveniently located and had everything we needed. It was in a great location and was perfect for our two-night trip to the Outer Banks. I highly recommend!

Great time for families

This was our second time staying at this property. The location is great, as it is located near two food stores, and many restaurants. The drive to the beach is very short, parking is plenty, and there is also just a short walk to beautiful sunset views. Highly recommend for families.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay and the owners are extremely helpful and responsive. The house was clean, the location was perfect. We enjoyed the multipurpose path on the sound and walked to the ocean. The house had everything we needed.

Spring Break ‘23

This was our first visit to the Outer Banks. And we can’t wait to come back. The house was perfect for myself, husband and our 16 year old daughter and her best friend. Great location, comfortable for down time.

Bright and airy cottage home

The property was very clean and comfortable. Location is convenient for beach and sound side access. The only challenge is crossing the major highway to get to the beach. The home has easy access to sand dunes and a short ride to the wild horse tours. Both of which I would recommend!
