Great spot!

Great condo and location! Only downside was that both pools weren’t open for our whole stay. Still was excellent!!

Amazing property with perfect sunset view

We really appreciated our time in this condo! The grounds are perfect with two pools, bbq grills and more. The unit was clean and had everything we needed although I thought there was a washer and dryer in the unit, but there is just coin-operated laundromat on site. They allowed us a late check-out even. We would definitely stay there again!

Nice Location

Nice, laid back facility. Salt water pool, "beach", commons area was great! Not good when the chiller goes out though.

Perfect condo

View was beautiful from our lanai. We enjoyed the 2 pools they had on premise. Only thing that was not good was the laundry room, none of the dryers were working.

Casa De Emdeko

The gardens, salt water pool, and the common area are what makes this place so special. The view of the ocean from our lanai was great. Location was good, close to everything. This is our second time staying at Casa De Emdeko, and not the last!

Nice property

The property and location are good and fairly centrally located. This place is super quiet at night which is so nice!! The ocean was quite rough which was disappointing and spectacular at the same time. It did however mean that the ocean pool was closed for 4 days during our stay. The ocean pool is beautiful and our choice over the main pool. The main pool is not as quiet and requires a little TLC to bring it up to par. The secure parking is a little on the limited side and we often had to park outside of the gate. There are several cars that appear to be parked here long term ( absent owners?) and that ties up some of the spots for the rest. All and all a great spot and we would certainly not hesitate to rent here again.

Awesome stay!

The condo was wonderful! Beautiful view, great location, very clean, and updated. The kitchen was well stocked and great that they had beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler available to use. The communication from the owners before and during our stay was great. Would definitely stay again.

Had a great stay

Unit was great for the money. Have stayed in the complex before, which is nice location to everything. Unit was very clean, and had pretty decent ocean view. Common bbq grills are great amenity! Unit did not have beach chairs/cooler which would have been nice.

Great place to stay

My husband and I really enjoyed the location, right on the water. Great view from the lanai of the sunsets. Comfortable home on the third floor of the complex. There is one elevator available. Thanks for having things like beach chairs, umbrella, snorkels and ice chests available for guest to use. Nice comfortable bed! No sign of critters except the geckos outside. Everything works great inside. We loved the salt water pool and use of grills to use in the courtyard area. We'd highly recommend for 1-2 people.

Really Nice One Bedroom Apartment south of Kona Town

Great location in this small quiet property right on the water. The unit was super clean. Beautiful views from the Lanai and the bedroom. The people that live there year round were super friendly and welcoming. Two pools, one salt water. Very well cared for grounds. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Best Stay Ever!

We had such an amazing stay here! The pictures didn’t do justice. The sunsets were amazing, the community was so nice, and our favorite thing to do was swim in the saltwater infinity pool! The pool heated from the sun all day, so night swims were the best! We also loved using the bbq’s, and watching all the crabs from afar on the rocks, while swimming! There was a gentlemen who blew the conch way the same time for sunset every night, and there was a even a residential women who fed the eels bread from afar, by throwing the bread a distance into the tide pools! So much fun and such a great stay! We cannot wait to come back and stay there again!!!

First trip to Hawaii

Loved the lanai and view. Very nicely decorated, kitchen had everything we wanted. Wish we’d known there was a cooler and other outdoor items we could use.

Great stay and wonderful view

This was a terrific location and a well-equipped condo. Comfortable and (shock) some spices in the cupboard. Everything was easy to find and instructions were provided on the electronics to answer any questions.

Excellent stay at Casa de Emdeko #315

The condo had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Well-stocked kitchen, comfy bed, plenty of towels--all the comforts of home. The ocean/sunset view from our lanai was gorgeous. The grounds are very well maintained, and we loved the salt water pool. The locals are friendly and very welcoming, and the sunset conch blow was beautiful. We will be back!

It was pretty good for price, really not sure how it got a 4.7 overall rating. Honestly a 3.5 seems

Good price and location. Quick response from folks managing the place but not much help as to fun things to do. A coffee maker, some cheap utensils and not much more. Flea market wall decor. Again, good for the money but I'd probably step up a bit and spend a little more and do better. We stayed in a condo in Maui following. A bit more expensive but honestly, you get what you pay for.

Wonderful condo with ocean views

Condo is in a very nice development with a chlorine pool, salt water pool, barbecues, tables, chairs and sand (no ocean access) and beautiful sunsets. Older development but well maintained and updated with appliances, constant cleaning, and friendly people. We'll definitely be back!

Sunsets and ocean view from the lanai :)

This was a very organized vrbo property. There were detailed instructions for checkin process and lock codes for parking and frontdoor! Concierge was available but we did not utilize. Great little market in front of property for any missed items from the big stores. Three nice genesis weber bbqs. The locals/owners down by the clubhouse were so friendly… the saltwater pool fronting the condos and right next to crashing waves of the ocean was amazing and often empty, had it all to yourself. The unit was well appointed. All the cooking utensils, knives, pans etc were there. My gf said this might be the newest n best refrigerator in a vrbo unit and we have been to many on different hawaiian islands. Ice maker worked great! The central a/c is a gem you rarely find in hawaii condos, but often there was no need from crossbreeze from locking screen door in the front with screen door of lanai. Bed was comfortable, shower seemed new, loved that there was a timer strong bathroom fan to wick away excessive moisture. Finally caught many aaaaahmazing sunsets right from the lanai. You are on top 3rd floor, paradise palms as backdrop from setting sun and its light dancing on the ocean water!
