The view here is amazing!The property is definitely family friendly. It is the last on a country road so others do not drive by.Of the many properties that I have rented by the shore, this one is my favorite. Suzanne and Jan are thoughtful and welcoming hosts.

This is the third year I have been able to stay, and I love being here.It is so convenient in terms of places I go to visit. I love the sunrise views and hope to get to stay again next summer.

Oceanfront cottage

This is the second vacation I have spent here, and I hope there will be more coming. It is a beautiful spot, and the owners are gracious and accommodating.

Seaside getaway

The location was absolutely perfect!! We felt very at home in the cottage. Every thing we needed was there. There is plenty to do in the area. We would love to stay there again.

Amazing Location for a Beach Vacation

Great beach vacation with a super comfortable home and a location you cannot beat! Step out the door, you’re on the beach! Great water views from inside as well. Beds were very comfortable and falling asleep to the sound of ocean waves was amazing! Easy check in. Host answered all our questions and was easy to communicate with. Sandy beach and hours of beach combing!

Wonderful house!!

Great cottage with spectacular views. The house was very comfortable, clean, and well stocked. You can’t beat the location. Very private. We took a few day trips and didn’t have to travel far. We all had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this place.

Solitude

Cottage was so comfortable especially having breakfast overlooking the ocean in the diningroom. What a way to start your day. Peace and quiet while sitting on the ocean. We both loved this place.

We absolutely loved our recent week's stay on Crocketts Beach in Midcoast Maine. There was lots to do and see in the immediate area and our trip to Camden for lunch was a highlight of our vacation! Suzanne was very available and responded to my questions in a timely fashion. There was a problem with the initial reservation dates and she took care of it quickly and without any repercussions. We loved the Owls Head Transportation Museum and walking on the Breakwater in Rockland. The Project Puffin Visitor Center was small but so interesting and the restaurant options were great! The views from the cottage & front bedroom were stunning and walking on the beach every morning was an incredible way to start the day. Unfortunately this house is no longer available to rent so we won't be returning to Crocketts Beach. Thank you, Suzanne, for allowing us to experience your little slice of heaven in Maine!

Cabin Coziness

What a wonderful place! I, my wife, and adult daughters were looking for a peaceful getaway and boy, did we find it. The home was clean, exactly as described on the website, and very well stocked with everything you need, for both play and relaxation, like board games, cards, puzzles, etc. The cabin is cozy and spacious enough for everyone to have their privacy if they want. And large windows make the family and dining areas feel like you're outside. But what hits you is the location, right on the rock (high tide) and sand (low tide) beach. How wonderful it was to walk out to that every morning and to be able to watch the tide come in and out! It was incredible. A view we won't ever forget. We never even turned on the TV! When we arrived tired and hungry at 8:15 pm on the first day of our stay after a long flight and drive, my daughters--not used to the rustic cabin vibe--were ambivalent. Within a couple of hours after we left to return home, they said they missed it already. Thank you Suzanne and Jan for taking such good care of the cabin and sharing its history. I recommend all guests read the property information booklet soon after arriving to make sure you know that history and become informed about the precious quirks of the place.

Beautiful views

We enjoyed the awesome views and the beauty of the location and the quietness. The house was had everything we needed and was well organized. The only problem was we'd never got the Wi-Fi hooked up even though we contacted the owner several times. So we went to McDonald's and use the Wi-Fi there as needed. But did love the place and we'll probably return

PARADISE FOUND

Gorgeous property just as advertised. The house is even larger than it looks online. We had an awesome time. The kids loved hunting for hermits crabs on the beach. I particularly loved watching the seabirds and osprey hunt between the island and the shore right in front of the house. One day there were a pair of seals 30 or so feet from the beach. The beds were super comfortable as well. We loved the Crocketts Beach house and are already trying to decide which week to book for next year!

Wonderful week in Owl's Head

Our family of 5 had a wonderful week at the Crockett's Beach cottage. We love this little beach, and this house is right on the water. We could see the kids playing on the sand from the big picture windows. The house was clean and well-appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner every night. The beds were comfortable. The big picture windows allow for great views while dining or relaxing inside. And the lawn fronts the beach, so that is where we spent most of our time. The owner was easy to communicate with and flexible when we had to make a change to our reservation. We hope to be back!

Lovely spot for relaxing

We loved this property for its quiet location and proximity to the water. We were lucky to have gorgeous weather and spent all our time, swimming and kayaking (borrowed kayaks from a friend) and staring at the water. The house is very well-stocked, beds are comfortable. Everything just as pictured and described -- with only one exception: the listing says there are 2 bathrooms - there is only one. Owner explained they intended to convert a small closet/room to 2nd bath before this season, but due to pandemic they were not able to have the work done. It was not a problem for us and the existing bathroom is clean, updated and terrific, but if you need or want 2 bathrooms, be sure you check on the status of this update.

Best Getaway ever! Beautiful view.. private!

We love Owls Head! This is the only house we will rent. Best beach for sea glass and kayaking. Very private and owner is a pleasure to deal with. The house is well equipped with everything you will need during your stay. Can't wait to make plans for another week.
