We invite you to call our elegantly renovated 1200 Sq Ft 2BR 2BA condominium home during your visit to Prescott. Walk the Granite Creek Trail to the Courthouse Square, Whiskey Row, local restaurants, and shopping.

We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our property and have the reviews to support this. We clean our own unit and are confident that we can assure a safe and healthy experience for you and your family.

We strive to create an experience that we would like to have when renting a vacation home. Our kitchen is furnished with plenty of dinnerware, cookware, glassware & entertaining accessories that make you feel at home. Things like extra linens for bed and bath, personal toiletry items, laundry and cleaning supplies ensure that you won't be wasting time shopping for things you might have need. And just in case you don't make it to the grocery store upon arrival, we make sure there is coffee and tea for your first morning.

Great location!

We had a really great stay! The location was close to everything. Communication was excellent, the place was very clean, and we had everything that we needed. I highly recommend this rental.

Great stay!!!!

This is a very nice property located a few blocks from downtown Prescott so it was very convenient for eating and shopping. Prescott offers many things to do. The owners we incredibly organized and left nothing to chance. They thought of it all. We would certainly stay here again.

Great stay. Clean, comfortable, great location

Great property, clean, comfortable with everything we needed for a 3-night stay in Prescott. We had 4 adults and the 2 bedrooms with 2 baths were perfect for us. Good location, close to town and nearby restaurants. Michael was a wonderful host -- great communication & follow-up. Definitely recommend it.

Best VRBO

The condo was spotless and very comfortable. The hosts were very kind and helpful. We were there to help our son rebuild his deck. It was so nice to be able to return to the condo where we could relax.

4 Week Stay Was Wonderful!

A Stone's Throw Away was a terrific place to stay! This is our first VRBO and it has worked out really well. We have been here for 4 weeks--and hope to return here again. Our time went too fast! The location is wonderful and it is so easy to take the Granite Trail into Prescott for coffee, dinner or just to get some exercise. This spacious condo really is a home-away-from-home. The condo has everything and Sprouts and Walgreens are nearby. We appreciate the hosts' hospitality and hope we will be able to return here again.

Attentive

Our hosts were extremely attentive! Esp during the time of a city-wide power loss due to storms! The location of this place is key - walked to many places! Home is well-stocked and welcome binder is very helpful. One room has a desk which was perfect for my husband to get in a few hours of remote work. We: hiked and hiked,cooked in, ate out, went to a show at the old theater, visited Sharlot Museum, took a day trip to Jerome. Some unusual things we did: went to Copper Museum in Clarkdale, visited Black Butterfly chocolate store in Prescott, and self-toured the courthouse. Interesting how Jerome’s, Clarkdale’s, and Prescott’s histories all intersect. This is a great, great place to stay - and we hope to return!

Great Location

The condo is in a great location, walking distance to downtown Prescott. Condo was clean, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked. Communication with the host was exceptional!

Small, comfortable and convenient

Perfect little place for a short stay. Clean and had everything you need to have an enjoyable Prescott experience. Including a very comfortable king bed in the primary bedroom. This condo is on the bottom floor with a very small and not-so-private patio. You can hear the above tenants but nothing that disturbed us. The bathrooms have very short countertops so if you’re tall like my husband and I, they were a little hard to lean over. Including the toilets. It would be a tight fit for four people even though it’s 2 bedroom, 2 bath. It is truly a stones throw from downtown and all the fun shops and restaurants. It is an older property but Michael and Susan are charming hosts and really care about their guests.

Wonderful property !!!

This is the 2nd year we have stayed at this property and we LOVE it !!! Close to a huge amount of fun restaurants, great shopping, lakes and activities. The hosts are amazing, beds are comfortable and everything is extremely well appointed ! I would recommend this property without any hesitation. A cut above

So let me start by saying that I’ve stayed in many VRBO properties over the years. In many different locations. I have to say that this particular property was head and shoulders above anything I have ever rented before. The cleanliness and pristine condition was a cut above. My wife commented again and again on how incredibly clean everything was. Also, contrary of most other VRBO’s, this one provided everything you could need and more. They thought of every little thing. They even had a jar of coffee beans and a grinder for the coffee! Never seen that before. The hosts were incredibly responsive and easy to work with. They provided us with some valuable recommendations for local restaurants, and things to do. Let us check in early and every time I texted them with a little question he got back to me almost immediately. The furnishings were very very nice. Not some typical cheap rental stuff. Beds were comfortable and they had an incredible reclining leather couch. Kitchen had everything. They provided shampoo that smelled so good. Candles(and a lighter) was a nice touch. Everything worked!! We didn't want for anything. It is located in a fantastic location, very private, quiet and even had a little trail by a creek right outside our door. It was walking distance to restaurants and brewpub. The owners were great, and there’s no question that when I go back, and we will, there’s nowhere else we will stay. Highly recommended this property.

Perfect spot

A Stones Throw Away was the perfect spot for our stay while my son participated in a soccer tournament and toured Embry Riddle. The condo was clean and comfortable. The hosts were great, and made sure we made it safely and had everything we needed. It was in walking distance to The Lazy Dawg, which was a great place to grab a bite to eat. We will definitely stay here again.

This place exceeded all expectations! It's super clean, comfortable, and an easy walk to Whiskey Row, shopping, and so many great restaurants to choose from. Michael and Susan were wonderful welcoming hosts making sure our stay was perfect! The guest book had many of their favorite places to eat, music, hiking, etc. We loved it all and hope to come back again sometime! Thank you both for making us feel at home in your beautiful condo and much, much more! We highly recommend this place!!!!

Wonderful Place and Great Location

Located across the street from a lovely little brew house, and only a few blocks from Whiskey Row, we totally enjoyed our stay. The owners are more than accommodating and very flexible. We highly recommend this location to anyone traveling to the Prescott area. Bill & Susie Hammett.

Awesome Stay!

Micheal was absolutely stellar and they clearly have earned their SUPERHOST STATUS! They have a huge background with a large Fortune 500 retail company before retiring and hosting for almost the past decade. If you need a week, or a month… the place is immaculate and so well equipped. 10 stars (ps: Lazy G microbrewery is just around the corner and they even provide us a GROWLER to take advantage of growler happy hour savings). Perfect stay!

Highly Recommend!

This is the most at home I’ve ever felt at a VRBO. The condo is very clean and cozy. All the amenities one would ask for. Located within walking distance of the Lazy G Brewhouse, you’re only a few minutes away from some great craft brew. The host Michael was the most easygoing and communicative host. I highly recommend this property, and I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

Perfect holiday stay

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our holiday stay in Prescott. Michael and Susan are the best and most thoughtful hosts, who were so accommodating from the moment we booked our stay until our check out. We arrived from a long journey to find a beautiful, ultra clean home away from home. We loved exploring the picturesque creek area with our little doggy and downtown Prescott is just a short walk away. We hope to visit again soon!

Prescott Get Away

Stones Throw Away is a beautiful property in the perfect location. The condo has everything you need! The beds we very comfortable. Came up for the court house Christmas lighting. We could walk to it from the condo. It was a perfect weekend. The host is amazing. Keeps in contact with all the information you will need. Will definitely be reserving this gem on our next visit!

Perfection

What a wonderful experience. The condo was exactly what I expected. The location was perfect for exploring the area on foot, as well as convenient to other areas of interest. It excelled all my expectations. The condo is beautiful, well appointed and had all the comforts of home. I couldn't have asked for a better host, attentive, kind and willing to walk the extra mile to ensure my visit was all it could be. I am delighted with my stay and grateful to my host. Great stay!

The condo is in a great location close to Whiskey Row and many attractions. It was clean and the hosts provided us all of the information we needed for an easy check in and check out. The condo was well appointed and comfortable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great stay!

We had a great experience at our stay! Michael and Susan were very nice, accommodating and responsive to anything we needed before and during our stay. The home itself was even nicer in person than it was in the online pictures, so we were pleasantly surprised. The location to town was really convenient, as was the unit itself within the complex. Friends of ours stayed in a different unit while we were there, and theirs was quite a walk from their parking space. This one was super convenient with our parking spot almost right out the door. Highly recommend staying here!

Perfect for a long stay in Prescott

Our stay in the condo for four weeks was perfect in every way. Great location only a few blocks from restaurants and shops on the square. The condo was roomy and very comfortable with all the comforts of home. Our dog enjoyed walks in the wooded area nearby and we saw deer several times on our walks. The hosts were very responsive and made sure our visit was all it should be. Overall, a very enjoyable stay in Prescott.

This rental is beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice. Mike, the owner, was great about communicating. The kitchen is fully equipped for meal preparation and cooking. Plenty of linens on hand for longer stays. Comfortable mattresses for a great night sleep. There really isn't anything that puts this less than a 5 star rate in any category.

Great place, close to everything! Didn't get a chance to hit the brewery across the street, but I will next time! Everything was amazing. Great communication with owners, everything was above par (or I guess in golf, below par is better?). Either way, definitely recommend. I return to Prescott often and I plan to rebook!

After putting 30,000+ miles in our 2006 Honda travelling around the country it came down to Austin TX & Prescott. We chose Prescott and haven't regretted a minute of it!
