The house was great. Absolutely loved the wild flowers! The walk from Whiskey Row is a bit of a steeper incline than anticipated.

Location is excellent for groceries coffee morning walk. Is situated in a cute neighborhood easy access to all the parks and trails around quick trip to Jerome and Sedona if you want to see something incredible and spend the day away from Prescott. This place is a home away from home.

We enjoyed our stay at the Virginia Street Cottage. Walkable distances to downtown through lovely neighborhood. Very clean, quiet, kitchen is well-stocked with all cooking needs. Attentive hosts.

Ingress and egress not mentioned for elderly or handicapped. Too many steps from parking to the front door. Interior floor slants downward once you enter the dining room and towards the rear hallway and master bedroom. The area rug in the front room is stained in many areas. Otherwise it was comfortable with downtown and restaurants close by.

Melanie was awesome she answered all my questions in a timely manner, the house was perfect for our little get away. We were close to pretty much everything. I would love to stay here again if I am ever in this area in the future.

Perfect cottage feel within walking distance to the square. Melanie was very quick in her response to our questions and a great host. When we come back, we will book this one again for sure

Comfy beds, cute backyard. Great location. I couldn’t get in the front door so called he property manager and she buzzed me right in! Super helpful.

My husband and I loved our stay at the cottage. Very clean and comfortable, plenty of room for us, great back yard area, new gas grill was wonderful, well stocked kitchen had everything we needed. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Bed and linens were very comfortable. Only complaint is the water pressure is low in the kitchen; shower pressure in bathrooms was fine though. Would definitely stay here again.

We booked Virginia Street Cottage as a brief get away for my birthday. We absolutely loved everything about Melanie and Eric’s place. Most especially their backyard as we were able to totally relax, read and just chat and laugh with each other. The weather was perfect and we had planned to see a few sights but found the cottage and BACKYARD so perfect, we just stayed there cooking our meals in their lovely, well equipped kitchen. Communicating with Melanie was easy through VRBO and Melanie’s response time was quick. What can I say other than we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the fall.

This is the 2nd time my friend and I have stayed here. The location is perfect for doing things on or around Whiskey Row. The house itself is in a very nice area. The backyard has a nice gazebo and was nice to hang out in and play our ukuleles. The plus feature inside the house was having 2 bathrooms. The beds are quite comfortable. The living area has plenty of seating, the kitchen has everything you would need, all in all very roomy. Tuesday night we went to Kimmyz and played music bingo, that was a lot of fun even though we didn't win a game. Wednesday we went to the Back Alley Wine Bar to listen to some live music. The weather in Prescott was cool during the day and cold at night. The next time I stay in Prescott I'll be staying at the Virginia St Cottage again. Melanie is a super host and had everything ready for us. P.S. loved the big orange cat who lived next door, such a sweetie.
