Central to so many of the local sights at Acadia and schoodic. Dunkin only 15 min away! We saw deer and fox and it was so quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend!

We loved the cabin and property very much for the peace & quiet! It was clean & all the wood beams/ structure was cool to look at! The only issue for us was the odd shaped low ceiling shower we found to be a challenge.

Beautiful property!!! Great mornings spent on the deck having coffee and planning our days activities. After a fun filled day of hiking Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, we enjoyed our evenings on the deck having glass of wine. Lots of great Lobster dinner places to check out in the area. A perfect location for all the area has to offer.

This is a charming, beautifully maintained retreat that is perfectly situated between Mt. Desert Island and the Schoodic Peninsula. Although we did have fun exploring Acadia and environs, we decided to set aside a few days to simply enjoy the tranquility of the woods and water surrounding this lovely home. Cathy and Rick are exceptionally gracious hosts, and we've never had such a relaxing vacation!

Great location

Loved the house, amazing location, had everything we needed and more. Loved the river, my husband went fishing and crabbing during the stay!

Beautiful property with an excellent location. We had a wonderful vacation. The peacefulness and views were exceptional. Great jumping off spot for Acadia, Schoodic area, and Bar Harbor. We hope to return someday.

We had a great week! Perfect location for hanging out, visiting Acadia and Bar Harbor, as well as the Schoodic Peninsula and other coastal communities! Stayed here a couple of times with our daughters when they were young and this time with just the two of us. It was wonderful every time!

This home was the perfect location to come back to after enjoying Acadia. Owner is excellent to communicate with, if needed. We would absolutely stay again!

My family and I loved our stay at this waterfront home in Lamoine. It was so peaceful and secluded; we enjoyed just sitting on the deck and looking through the trees to the water. The location is great for exploring Acadia National Park--close to both MDI and the Schoodic Peninsula--as well as several other fantastic nature preserves. The amenities provided by the hosts were perfect; we had everything we needed for our stay and hope we can return in the future!

Wonderful

After hiking and biking in Acadia this was a perfect place to end each day. We spent 2 weeks here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful peaceful place to stay in Maine.

Absolutely beautiful. Convenient location. It was secluded and still close enough to town and Acadia. The hosts left us snacks and a map for hiking, everything was so hospitable. I would definitely recommend. It is nicely stocked in case you forget something little which I really appreciated. Loved being on the water!
