King bedroom couples retreat. Relax in the jetted Jacuzzi tub. Or enjoy a private game of pool or foosball. Tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac with it’s own private entrance, this retreat is a quick 10 minute walk to the beach. The screened-in outdoor area offers a living area which will let you relax to the soothing sounds of a Koi fish pond and also includes a kitchenette with microwave, toaster oven, blender, 2 burner hot plate, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Enjoy the outdoor shower after a day at the beach and the summer heat. Conveniently located close to all that the Outer Banks has to offer - restaurants, bars, shops and grocery stores. There is also bike path close by for those who would like to explore this beautiful area on bicycles.

Great location

It was a great place to stay near the beach. Right by put out and everything is walking or biking distance and the neighborhood is very quiet. The place is very nice and we had a great stay!

Nice place

We was very impressed and we liked how the shower was outside made it easy to take a shower after the beach. We would recommend it for us again and for anyone looking for a nice area to stay in.

Great location, cozy bedroom and fun game room

We enjoyed the short drive to the beach and Wright Brothers National Memorial Park. We had fun playing pool in the game room. Nice peaceful room with a screened in living area and small kitchenette.

Perfect location for couples

Great rental option

Stayed on propery for 3 days. Perfect space for our short getaway. Space was very clean and accommodating. Loved that it included the pool table ablnd foosball table. We also liked sitting out on the screened in porch. Lots or restaurants, attractions, and public beach access close by. Marc was a great host, very quick to answer any questions I had and provided some great suggestions of places to check out.

Quick beach getaway

My sister and I rented for a quick visit with our nephew. It was just perfect for our needs. We loved the screened porch and everything we needed was available. Marc is very quick to respond. We would rent again!

Lovely Space

Really delightful space. Comfortable and indulgent, but without crossing over into truly decadent. A really nice grocery store was within a comfortable walking distance, with the beach itself just a few minutes' walk beyond that. Everything you could want in a low-key vacation. Perfect.

Perfect

My wife and I took a few days away from the kids. The apartment was perfect. We planned on eating out a lot so didn’t really need a kitchen. But, the covered porch was wonderful. Had a fridge, microwave and sinks, well stocked kitchen items. The line es were nice and bed was comfy. Nothing to complain about at all. Thanks for an easy and wonderful stay.

Worth the cost of stay, excellent host.

Overall I'd give the location a 9/10 and the host a 10/10. It was a little weird/ uncomfortable having the host above us on the top floor, but not a big deal. I wish I had known that the ONLY shower was the outside shower. The bed was comfortable, could use better pillows. Everything was very clean. It would be a perfect 10/10 if the yard was spruced up a bit and the bikes were in better condition. They were covered in rust and spider webs so we decided to not use them. There are a lot of mosquitoes, so bring bug spray. I highly recommend this location to stay at, and I'm sure we'll be back again!

This place was very quiet and felt like home.the towels are thick and large ,the bed was comfy and the toilet paper wasn’t cheap.if you’re worried about the owners being upstairs ,they were there and we never saw them .They had a nice book made with all the info you could need while on your trip for there and around the area.i loved the tiny sink on the patio and the water fountains made a beautiful sound at night while sitting outside .. The patio.the shower outside had hot water and good pressure but not great for showering if it’s cold out,but you have the jacuzzi for a back up.only thing I could think they may have lacked would be a dish drainer and maybe a out side tv to watch while your eating. They recommend the fresh seafood from the seafood market and we tried it .was much better and cheaper then going out to the restaurant. we really enjoyed staying there and will be back In The future.Thank you for a great stay..

Gracious hosts and excellent accomodations

We could not be more pleased with our stay at Marc and Judy's place. They were very nice and very accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. The pictures online are spot on but don't begin to give you the real feel of how much space you have. We were more than pleased, as this was our first experience staying at someone's home. The bed was so comfortable and the towels were plush. They also gave us great tips on where to eat and other cool stuff. We would give them 6 stars if there were 6 to give!! Thank you Marc and Judy. Hope to stay again sometime. Michael and Turkan

We are not around much in the summer months so you will have the place to yourself most of the time and we are very quiet . We enjoy meeting new people from around the world , and we look forward to enhancing your experience on the Outer Banks.
