Stay with young kids

We stayed with our 5 and 2 year old and had such a good trip! Would definitely come back. Loved having the beach parking pass and washer/dryer!

Lovely Cottage to Close Out Our Summer!

We stayed at this lovely cottage for 6 nights over the Labor Day holiday. It was spacious for my husband and me, and still big enough for when our daughter and son-in-law joined us for a few nights. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials. The location was great, with around a 10-minute walk to the sound, and the street was quiet and peaceful. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful holiday week

Had a 5 night stay around the July 4th holiday with a group of 4 other adults. The property was lovely and had everything we needed with plenty of room for all of us to fit comfortably. Greg was a wonderful host and was always quick to answer any questions or give us a heads up about weather. Loved our stay and hope to be back.

Home away from home

You won't be disappointed. The location is ideal with Target right around the corner for supplies and food. The beach and Avalon Pier is just a couple blocks away. This bungalow was perfect for our family and had everything you needed with plenty of room, defnitely would stay again. Truly a home away from your home. Thanks!

Great Bungalow

The bungalow was awesome and is in a good location. The place had everything that we needed for our week’s stay. The parking pass for the beach, outdoor shower, washer / dryer and beach hauler for the chairs were a nice plus. Communication with Greg was top notch. Any questions we had he was very prompt to answer.

Loved that we were on the sound side, great bicycle trail and sunsets. We were but minutes from the beach which was another bonus.

Cozy Beach Cottage Close to Everything!

We had an amazing stay! It was so cute and had everything we needed. We have a child under 2, so it was nice that there weren’t a lot of steps. Everything was close by (including Target!!). The owner was responsive and nice. The beds were comfy, there was an outdoor shower, it was a perfect stay!!

Cozy cottage

We had a great stay at the cozy little cottage. The cottage had everything we needed to stay for the week. Communication with Greg was great!! The neighborhood was nice and close to everything. We will be back!!!!

House was super cute and clean!

The house was perfect for our long weekend trip. Having the linens provided was such a treat. The kitchen was stocked with all the things we needed to cook with. Very clean and cozy! We will definitely make a return trip in the future.

Convenient to North and South Beaches

Greg was helpful and responsive. He offered a low stress stay and was helpful when we were asking for attractions. The house was clean and close to the beach. We always had a spot to park at the resident lot. The chairs and umbrella were well used as well as the boogie boards. Great place to stay!

A Beautiful Week

We absolutely loved staying at this cute cottage. Everything we ever needed was there and we didn’t have to pack nearly anything. Mr. Greg was amazing with communicating expectations or answering my questions. We can’t wait to be back in the future.

Gorgeous and comfortable cottage

This is an absolutely fabulous and cozy cottage! Communication with Greg was wonderful. The cottage was perfect for us, extremely comfortable and very clean. I could tell Greg has put a lot of effort into having everything there that you can possibly think of. We loved our stay there this past week and we would definitely stay there again

Great beach bungalow

This little house has everything needed for a week at the beach: beach chairs, umbrella and pop up tent, boogie boards, toys, and bikes. The house is very comfortable, includes all linens and towels, and the kitchen has everything needed for cooking meals. We only ate out once, cooked the rest at the house after a day at the beach. We loved the outdoor shower- never even used the indoor shower! The parking pass made going to the beach much easier- no half mile walk, just a quick drive. I definitely recommend this rental!

Great Get-Away Bungalow

This was our first time to the Outer Banks and the bungalow was a perfect fit for our family! Greg did a great job of responding to all of my questions before our stay and has put a lot of effort into decorating the property and providing amenities to help it feel like a home away from home. Having comfy furniture and Roku helped pass the time on a rainy day and the beach chairs allowed us a little more packing room in the car. The house is in a quiet little neighborhood and is a quick drive from the beach, grocery stores, gas, and restaurants making it a great location. I’m glad I found this little gem for our vacation!

Fantastic Place!

The owner was very easy to deal with and was acutely attentive to our every need from checking in to troubleshooting the smallest (tenant error) items at night. If you want to go to the beach and and not have to worry about how the place will be then this is it. Don’t even bring your chairs as the owner has 2-4 chairs and umbrellas to use. What a game changer so I didn’t have to buy those flimsy ones at Wings. The location is in a quiet neighborhood a few blocks from the beach and the owner supplies tags for beach access. Every morning I was able to enjoy a walk with my daughter around the neighborhood down to the back side of the isle and back up to Front Porch Cafe to grab some pastries and coffee for the family. All in all a great stay and couldn’t be happier!

Charming bungalow in KDH

I chose the rental due to not a lot of stairs. My sister is battling cancer and wanted to go to the beach a few days. The price is right and flexible dates to accommodate the one week in the month there would be no chemo.Very nice little bungalow tastefully furnished & decorated to create the perfect atmosphere for the beach. Access to park on sound side with beautiful view of the sunset. Includes parking pass at Avalon Pier. Everything you need for a stay at the beach is included: beach chairs, umbrellas, bicycles, grill, fire pit in backyard. Everything you need to enjoy a stay at the beach. No need to pack beach gear or linens made the trip so much more enjoyable. Favorite restaurants & grocery store nearby so no need to run up & down Hey 12. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend KDH Bungalow. This is a place I imagine we will become an annual pilgrimage. Feels like it’s yours without the Mortage lament every month!

I have owned this property since 2013 having fallen in love with it during a stay at OBX. I live in Virginia Beach, VA and visit OBX most weekends when I can.

Once you see or stay at this cute bungalow, you will fall in love with it and the location. Very easy access to the Ocean and the property comes with a parking past for the community lot oceanfront and the lot sound side giving access for kayak or SUP.

The home has two bedrooms and one bathroom. It also has a fold out sofa and a futon. The kitchen is well furnished with all the amenities one could want.
