Cottage had a great old Nags Head vibe. Very close to beach. Had a few minor hiccups checking in but host was easy to reach and corrected the problem right away.

The description of the property was misleading as the cottage was not an ocean view, you had to go up and over a huge sand dune to get to the water. The place is older but cozy, the owner keeps it up nicely. The location was great, as it is on Virginia Dare Trail, which is a lot less busy. We enjoyed our stay, we will probably visit again. David was very pleasant and very accommodating.

Perfect, simple beach house. Great Nags Head location. Its walkable to our favorite dinner spots, ice cream and shopping. David was so easy to work with and the other guests were friendly. Such a nice down to earth vibe. Not sure we will go back to the massive, big group housing we have done in the past. Hoping to return when we are scheduling our next OBX trip!!

Every morning, a short walk over the dune took me to the prettiest sunrises! Laid back beach cottage and area/setting. Nothing fancy but it has all you need and was very kid friendly. *BYO towels/sheets. David, the owner, was very accommodating and made our stay feel very welcoming. We will be back! Thank you so much!

Great little cottage on the beach

Cute, clean and right on the beach. Easy access to the beach and very convenient to great restaurants and activities. We would stay there again.

Tina Tuna…just as advertised. Great restaurants and pubs nearby. Perfect for enjoying the beach

David is an awesome host. Awesome location. Very nice cabin by the coast. Looking forward to staying there again.

Wow! This beach cottage is absolutely perfect! Literally a few steps from the wide-open beautiful beach! From the moment I arrived, I was delighted and impressed. The cottage is super comfortable and tastefully decorated - a cozy and inviting beach vibe awaits! Tina Tuna was spotless upon arrival, and there was even a welcome bag of goodies left on the table. I felt like I was at home! The communication from pre-arrival to check out was excellent - the host was so kind and friendly, and I plan on returning soon. Thank you for such a wonderful few days, this spot can’t be beat for its location and charm, and the local restaurants are wonderful! Thank you!

Always wonderful! Cute, cozy and convenient! Beach access, area, property are the best! Like going back in time with the cottage - simple and all you need at the beach! We will be returning for sure... this was our 5th stay!

This is our third time to this property because we love it so much. The cottage is nestled just beyond the dunes and protected from high winds. The owner/host is very responsive and friendly and the cottage is clean and well-equipped. A huge plus is that our furry family member stays for free! We will be back again!
We saw the harvest moon rise. Beautiful!

Best stay on the beach

I couldn’t have found a better house to stay in or a better owner to rent from. This was an amazing stay from beginning to end. I couldn’t have asked for anything more and their hospitality was outstanding!!
