The property was perfect and Jill, the host, is absolutely amazing. We have already booked again for next year because we were so happy with it. The views can’t be beat in the location, puts you walking distance, not just from the beach, but easily into town. There were plenty of linens, and the beds were incredibly comfortable as well. Great place!!

Outstanding experience. The views are gorgeous, Jill was wonderful, and the location was close to the best that SoCal has to offer. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a beautiful property.

This ocean view is magnificent. Very relaxing, just what we needed. The owner, Jill, lives upstairs and couldn’t have been nicer. We would love to stay again!

Beautiful property and outstanding high overhead view of the beach. The property was clean and easy to get to. Parking was a slight challenge coordinating with guests of other units, but it worked out. The host was very accommodating and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall this property was beautiful, clean and has a stunning view that's hard to match. It's a short proximity to the beach (though the path/stairs down is a trek for young kids), and easy walk into town with several restaurant, coffee, ice cream options.There are nearby beach options and activity options that are lovely.The place itself is great, and would recommend to others. Pros:Clean and comfortable property, beautiful view, proximity to beach, restaurants, etc...Cons:WiFi is not reliable, AC is living room unit only that requires attention (need to empty water output to prevent overflow) - airflow does not reach bedrooms.

Amazing view!! So much to do in the Dana Pool my area. And lots of walking trails close by. The property was comfortable and Jill was very sweet. Recommend this property 100%.

Excellent stay!

We loved our time at Jill’s condo. The patio and view were amazing. The hike down to the beach was beautiful. The place itself was very comfortable and clean. The city of Dana Point is a wonderful place to visit with excellent restaurants too that we greatly enjoyed!

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. Amazing views, access to trails and beach. Quiet and comfy. We hope to return.

The view was absolutely stunning. The sunsets were beautiful, the property is clean and the property manager was extremely helpful. I would recommend this property there anyone.

Jill is the best host, she goes out of her way to welcome and accommodate your every wish.The place is lovely with the mot amazing view and so very convenient for walking to anything, the beach, the strand park and restaurants..The ocean front private patio is a great place to enjoy a bbq, cocktails, morning coffee while watching the surfers and boats right out front.Would stay there again in a heartbeat and now consider Jill a friend.Beth

Excellent GEM of a vacation spot!

We loved our stay at Dana Strand! The view surpasses the Ritz Carlton—pictures don’t capture its beauty. Peaceful with crashing waves below, the two bedrooms suited me, my husband, and our teenage daughter perfectly. This beachfront gem was a lucky find! Jill was an exceptional, attentive host. 10/10, would stay again!

Amazing Views!!

My guests and I had a lovely and enjoyable stay at Jill’s vacation rental. The unit has all the comforts of home, an awesome location plus amazing views of the pacific ocean, the Strand Beach, the nature preserve, and of course, beautiful sunsets. I highly recommend staying here!

Mom's 89th back to childhood Dana Point

Wonderful trip and Jill went above and beyond to ensure we had a property that would accomodate my mom and her needs ( shower as my mom's mobility is very limoted and a bath tub/shower wasn't gonna work for her. Fresh flowers awaited and all was amazing.
