- Fabulous panoramic views of the mountains and Lake Placid (lake) from this hillside perch on the shore of Lake Placid. It offers the perfect combination of luxury and wilderness with views of Whiteface Mountain, the Sentinel Range and the lake. The natural beauty is outstanding! Comes with 5 passes to the waterfront beach on Lake Placid just down the hill from the condo.
- No need to get in the car since you can walk to all of the Whiteface Club and Resort's amenities: a championship golf course, tennis, the marina, swimming beach, kayak rentals, x-country skiing, hiking trails, miles of wilderness walks and incredible restaurants on the shore of Lake Placid. The Lake Placid Lodge, a 5 star Relais and Chateau Resort, offers Maggie's Pub and the Artisan Restaurant. Moose Lodge Boathouse is also within easy walking distance at the marina and open Memorial Weekend through Labor Day. Sit on the balcony or deck at either place and watch the sun setting on the mountains and the moonlight rippling on the lake. The golf course club house offers a pub and meals throughout the golfing season with limited services in winter for cross-country skiers.
- We offer a bright, spacious and charming 2 bedroom condo that is perfect for 4-5 guests, but can sleep 6. The condo is filled with light, has a wood burning fireplace, outside deck, two slate bathrooms with heated floors, one with a jetted soaking tub and the other with a lovely shower. Full kitchen with granite counters, high end appliances, wood floors and numerous Adirondack features to make you feel surrounded by comfort and beauty. Every convenience for your enjoyment.
A DISCOUNT WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE APPLIED TO STAYS OF 7 DAYS OR LONGER.
- Two supermarkets and shops are 1 mile from the condo making this location both very convenient as well as very rural, set in the six million acre Adirondack Park. Downtown Lake Placid is 2 miles away with shops, restaurants, galleries, a movie theatre, the Olympic Arena, the horse show fairgrounds, ski jump and bobsled run. Downhill skiing is 20 minutes away at Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!!
- Cape Air flies to Saranac Lake Airport, 8 miles from the condo. Direct flights are scheduled several times a day from Boston. The flight takes a little over an hour.

CLEANING PROCEDURES: We have all bedding, including pillow protectors, linens, blankets and towels sent to a commercial laundry. The condo is cleaned after each guest following the Vacation Rentals Housekeeping Professionals (VRHP) and the Vacation Rentals Management Association
( VRMA) Guidelines .

SHORT TERM RENTAL CERTIFICATE: We have a Short Term Rental Certificate #200037 that is issued annually by the town of Lake Placid , NY.

Very Nice property, nicely appointed. Communications with the host were excellent. Instruction for check in & out thorough. Beautiful balcony with views. Everything was as described. Private. Just a bit further out of town, which we knew no surprises. Air conditioning would be an extra perk as it was warm. Otherwise we had a nice stay!

Having the camera able to accurately photograph the ever changing sky, and the Lake and Mountain views we get is generally impossible most of the time. April vaca getaway

Nice spot with gorgeous views. I could sit on the deck and read my book all day. Kitchen and appliances were updated and modern. Everything was very clean. Bed pillows were laughably flat.

Great Stay at Overlook Perch

Had a great stay with my two teenage daughters. The setup of the condo was excellent and has everything you'll need to have a great time in Lake Placid. Well appointed with everything and a great deck with view of Lake Placid. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely stay here again when we return. Margaret was also great to deal with and had excellent communication.

Overlook Perch met all our expectations. The views were amazing, and the "information book" was very helpful. The unit was well appointed, and comfortable. The host is awesome! Would recommend to others!

Great stay

Overall this condo is great for 3-4 people. It’s a little smaller than expected but it made up for that with location, amenities and an amazing view! Despite a rainy week we were able to make the most of Lake Placid since the condo is in good proximity to town and hiking trails. Owner thought of everything you might need. This is definitely a great option for a small family or couples.

Christmas and New Year in Lake Placid

Our family routinely travels to Lake Placid and staying at Margaret’s home made our holiday week stand out from other times we have visited the area. Everything was exceptional. The views, cleanliness, comfort, location, and communication with our host was all 5 Star. The hardest part of the trip was having to go back home. We will have very fond memories of our stay here.

The perfect space

I rented this house for ironman week because I didn't want to deal with the crowd in the village. Everything in the house is perfect, I love watching the sunrise and whiteface every morning. Cannot wait to come back again!!

Thank you for this wonderful review. We also love the sunrise and glistening lake in the mornings.The 180 degree view from the condo makes for ever changing scenes of the sky, lake and mountains. At sunset the light on the mountains casts beautiful shadows. In winter it’s called “Alpine Glow” causing a pink hue over the mountains and in the sky. The condo is so near to stores and town, but being a few miles away makes it the perfect distance for both quiet and convenience. Please do come again.
