King bed in one bedroom,one bath apt attached to old house in Uptown neighborhood of New Orleans. We provide wi-fi ,air conditioning, heat,cable Tv and off street parking.There is no kitchen but a coffee maker, electric kettle and refrigerator. We are very close to both Tulane and Loyola Universities as well as 3 blocks to St Charles streetcar. It is a safe nice area with Restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. You will have your own private entrance and porch. We provide drinks and snacks. There are 12 steps leading up to the house.

Great place near Tulane campus. Elegant decor. Two improvements needed: Hot water valve in bathroom sink not working. Please include a small bottle of dish detergent to wash dishes.

The one bedroom was very cozy. It was nicely decorated. It had a very Southern feel to it. Even though it was an older property, it was clean and hospitable. The owner provided snacks and drinks. The owner was easily accessible. She communicated very well and promptly. This property is perfect for a solo traveler. As a female solo traveler myself, I felt comfortable and very safe at this location.

The Hostess with the Mostest

Our hostess was so accommodating! She came over after we settled in to introduce herself & brought us a goodie bag! She was very sweet!I would stay there again & recommend this place to others as well.

Perfect stay in a prime location!

Absolutely perfect stay! The house is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and incredibly comfortable. The location is unbeatable - walking distance to Tulane & Loyola and amazing restaurants on Freret. The host was lovely and went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. Can’t wait to return!

Cramped quarters

This property was stated to be a one bedroom apartment. There was a large bedroom, a bath and an entry way. There was no table and chairs. The front door felt as if it was coming off of its hinges. There were no instructions for the television. The bed was comfortable but the linens and pillows needed an upgrade. We were disappointed in the property and would not stay there again.

Great apartment!

This was the perfect place to stay while visiting my daughter at college. Very clean, lovely furnishings, comfortable and welcoming. Excellent location, too. I hope to stay here every time I visit!

Nice and quiet spot

I really enjoyed my stay. It was in a peaceful neighborhood and the owner ensured the check in was very easy. There was instructions for everything that I needed. Also, the property was conveniently located. I was minutes from everything I needed and everywhere I needed to go.

Clean and close

Studio was comfortable with traditional furnishings, and very clean. Appreciated the refreshments and tea selection! My only quibble was that it could be noisy at times - rumblings from the building (AC?) and some noisy neighbors at one point. But overall good for what I needed while visiting my son at Tulane.

Lovely Low Key Accomodations

Thoughtfully appointed spot- just an entry room, bathroom, and bedroom with a private entrance off the main porch. Everything we needed for our weekend visit to Tulane. Thank you Wendy!

Wonderful Stay in a Beautiful Location

Wendy set me and my friend up for a wonderful stay while visiting New Orleans! Being so close to the St. Charles Streetcar and a couple of bus lines was very convenient and was within walking distance of some great restaurants.

Uptown Charm

Beautiful home, attentive hosts, charming apartment, comfortable bed, fun neighborhood, great location, easy access to Tulane and Loyola, close to Audubon Park, Freret shopping area and St. Charles streetcar line. Will definitely return!

Great location!

The apartment was so convenient to Tulane campus. Communication was like talking to a friend. Just needs to have a blow dryer in the bathroom. But everything else was lovely.

We bought the home to renovate right before Hurricane Katrina. We escaped with minimal damage,compared to most but still roof and chimney damage. We moved to this area because we were close to the school but child grown now. We have enjoyed living here especially with the revival of Freret st and proximity to the Universities and restaurants.
