Located at 511 9th Street, this stilted side-by-side duplex has the same owner for both units!

NEW WINDOWS installed. 6 people allowed to stay here overnight

Cabana Club - Private pool & beach club is included free!

New mattresses and bedding for all 3 beds.

Wonderful, shaded patio area in the back of the house!
Ample car and boat trailer parking either under carport or on gravel next to unit.
Full set of kitchen amenities - pots, pans, dishes utensils etc...

Porch/Balcony has a glass block wall for privacy (separating next door unit #7680, also rented by us and option to rent both units together).
Great for enjoying breakfast, lunch and dinner overlooking canal and viewing evening sunsets.

Wi-Fi access, fully furnished, amenities featured are listed below including: 46" flat screen TV in living room, and 32" flat screen in master BR. Central Air and ceiling fans in all rooms, kitchen fully furnished with all you will need during your stay.

37 feet of boat dock space total on a 100' wide deep water canal with cement bulkhead and step-down area for easier on/off to your boat(lights, electric, and water at dock.) + bait freezer, and gas grill.

Very easy access that leads to both the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico.
Use of Cabana Club (a short walk, or drive, 1/2 mile from home which includes: ocean beach, heated pool, hot tub, poolside cocktail lounge, game room, fishing pier, snacks and bar available. Next door is full service Havana Jacks Restaurant.

Take an evening stroll to Key Colony Beach "Sunset Park", where you can view the beautiful keys sunsets, and make sure you bring along your evening libations & your camera.

Also on KCB is a 9 hole PAR 3 golf, tennis, bocce ball, basketball court, pickle ball, horseshoe area, playgrounds, bike, walking and roller blade paths, boat rentals, snorkel & dive boats, and deep-sea fishing charter boats. RESTAURANTS ON KEY COLONY BEACH: Key Colony Inn, and Havana Jacks (all a short walk or drive). Nearby are Sparky's Restaurant and Island Fish Company. Many more restaurants in Marathon too numerous to mention (List posted in rental units).

Many nearby attractions and activities . . Aquarium Encounters, Dolphin Research Center, Crane Point Hammock & Museum, Theater of the Sea, Bahia Honda State Park, Key West, etc, etc.

A FUN PLACE: Miniature Golf at Boondocks (MM 27.5) and while there enjoy a nice lunch or dinner.

DIRTY

Have stayed in Key Colony Beach for 30 + years. There is are certain standards that seem to go along with staying on KCB. This property does not even come close to that standard. I understand that this is just a rental property, and that certain things are out of the property managements hands, but your cleaning people are not doing their jobs!! Location is great, plenty of room to move around, etc. The whole place needs a whole lot of TLC and a super deep cleaning !! Door not locked when we arrived, master bedroom only 1tv channel, stuff running down cabinets, kitchen drawers barely pull out, I could go on and on. We definitely left the place cleaner than we found it !! Anyway, we made the best of it, and spent most our time on the water.

Cheap for the keys but for a reason(s)

You get what you pay for and don’t expect one bit more. Cheap and outdated which I was fine with for the money but cabinet doors are literally falling off. Be careful if bringing a boat, a couple of the dock posts are barely held in by 1 bolt so they swing back and forth. Hopefully the termite issue will be resolved, they were all over the stove when we got there, dead and live ones so I don’t know if the house was really even cleaned. I really think the owners are being taken advantage of by the cleaning/management company. We will not be staying there again.

The house was as advertised and the location was great. But the unit needs updating. The cabinets were falling apart, the refrigerator was either too cold or too warm. The last 2 days we had flying ants or termites with wings all over the stove area. The furniture was comfortable but dated and needs repair or replacement. But we still enjoyed our stay.

Key Colony Beach Convenience

Loved the proximity to the ocean. We were in our boat everyday. Canal was also full of fish for some nighttime fun. Home could use updating and clean air filters; but served our needs for the week.

Poorly Maintained

This property is in an excellent location for boating, fishing and restaurants. Unfortunately, the property is in much need of attention. The kitchen was old and the cabinet doors are delaminating. The furniture was torn and dirty. We had roaches and had the bug man out during our visit. Its a shame because otherwise I loved the location.

Beautiful community. Very nice location!

Listing is exactly what you see. And was very very clean. Well equipped with everything you need. Colonial Key Resort was a very nice, well kept neighborhood. And the restaurant right near by The Colonial Key Inn, was very cozy, great food, cocktails, nice locals and the staff was great and very knowledgeable on, what to do and where to go! I will miss the balcony veranda on the back of the unit with my coffee and the absolutely beautiful canal. We brought our smaller boat with us and explored the waters. It will be a must do again.

Lynch Keys trip

The property was near perfect. We really only wanted a place to lay our heads at night as we planned a full week of excursions. However it became more. It was perfectly located where we wanted to be at. Within a short distant of shopping, bait stores, grocery, etc. It is a very nice place with just enough of what you need. Thank you

Great location but needs some love

This was a great location and good amount of space. However, everything is old and needs a good cleaning. My parents stayed at the attached sister apartment for a few days, which was great to be together but separate. I would still book it again, but hopefully they do some updates soon. Having pool access was also fun but the location is a drive or bike away.

Key Colony Rental

This rental was clean, with a fully equipped kitchen. It is close to grocery stores, pharmacies and local eateries and attractions. I would stay here again!

Vacation

This place is one of the best places we have stayed at. Had no problems getting checked in or with the house itself. Our boys loved the pool that is just a short drive or walk away. We would definitely rent this place again.

UPDATING NEEDED!!!

Key Colony Beach is an amazing community. I did not realize from the pictures how run down the property was. I felt like if my kids touched anything it would break!! (Like if I hung a towel on the splintered wood towel bar it would fall to the ground!). The beds were so uncomfortable that my husband and I were crippled by the end of the week. (We used the couches most nights which weren’t much better. We were down there with 5 other families and they all paid less than us and I couldn’t believe how beautiful their places were!!!! Lesson learned. It’s a shame the don’t fix that place up because the location and views were awesome!! The property manager was also amazing.

My husband and I purchased this property in 1986 and used it with our 2 children, guests, and rentals. We all enjoyed many fun times there, lobstering, fishing, and snorkeling on Sombrero Reef. My husband and I are now full time residents in KCB.
