House is very clean!
3 bedroom 2 bath, only 3 miles to Carolina Beach, 11 miles to Downtown Wilmington. 6 miles to the Fort Fisher Ferry. 10 miles to UNCW & 14 miles from ILM airport. Very close to restaurants and grocery stores
Very well stocked kitchen
We have added a pack n play and a high chair
wifi, TVs, local channels.
bedrooms have a queen beds
pull out queen sofa in living room and one couch is as large as a twin bed
master bath has a large tub and walk in shower
other bath has tun/shower combo
Enjoy the large front porch to sit and watch the beautiful North Carolina sunset in the evenings while listening to the sounds of the whippoorwills
Family time is important, spend it together under one roof.
We love our home and the time our families get to spend together ❤️
We also have security cameras on the driveways, we can’t see it but it records in the basement.

Daughter's 21st Birthday

Youngest daughter is student at UNCW. She turned 21 and we rented your house so we could visit with her. We had a great weekend and would stay at your house again.

Great home

The house is very inviting and has a cozy feeling that made all of us feel comfortable. My daughters enjoyed the “super comfy couches” and playing with the puzzles. Location is wonderful and will be planning to be back.

Perfect Little Place

We loved the amount of space this house had! We had plenty of space for the 5 of us, and would’ve been comfortable if we had a bigger group next time! The house was stocked unlike other places I’ve stayed that have had only 2 plates and a tooth pick. Linda was lovely to deal with given the circumstances with the storm on our initial weekend. Never felt more comfortable in a business transaction

The only disadvantage to the property was the extremely steep driveway that was a bit difficult to navigate at times especially with having multiple guests. Otherwise we had a love trip and the house was wonderful.

Great location

My small Girl Scout troop used this house as our base while we drove to Fort Fisher State Recreation Area for the beach and the nearby aquarium. The house was clean, and had everything we needed. The driveway is VERY steep. I'm glad both adults had SUVs!

Great Trip

Cozy and clean. Easy process, good location, and had all the home necessities for cooking and washing clothes. I’d stay here again.

Farmers really enjoyed the short stay for a few days. We came down to do some deep sea fishing.

Family & Fishing :)

We couldn't have asked for a better location and set up for us to take the fishing boat. There was plenty of room for the boat/trailer and our truck. We like to fish on Snow's Cut, and we were just minutes away from the boat landing. Conveniently located to Carolina Beach Boardwalk for the kids and restaurants. Also, the neighborhood is good for walking or riding bikes. Linda was the perfect hostess. We would definitely stay again.

Loved it!

Upon arrival the house was spotless with enough room for my whole family. It was very good neighborhood as well and loved how it was so close to the beach, and many other attractions around. The house was beautiful and my family and i enjoyed our stay and would stay here again 10/10

In town for a wedding

The house was absolutely perfect for our families needs/wants! We were all in town for a wedding, flying and driving in from all over. Linda was super quick in her responses to any and all questions leading up to our mini vacay.

So much fun!

Our stay was awesome! The house was very clean and had lots of beach supplies and movies. Linda was very quick to respond and gave recommendations for places in the area.

Girls trip

Amazing place! Fully stocked and well thought out home with everything you may need. Close to everything you may want. Host was friendly and reached out multiple times to make sure everything was okay ( all though app was not letting me respond). Highly recommend!!

Wilmington Stay

Great house and location as the event was at Beau Ravage. My only concern was towel washing. Especially the morning of check out. Not much time to get this done as I shower in the AM

Beach weekend

Host was excellent with communication and the house truly felt like a family home. Tye home was very comfortable and the hospitality came through. Also to note, the beach was within 10 minutes distances so going to and from the beach was great!

Softball tournament

We came to Wilmington for a softball tournament. We never went to the beach but the we were ok with that. The house was cozy and quaint. I took a nap for the first time in a long time and it was so quiet. Ample supplies of towels, pillows and blankets. we all loved the movie library to wind down from our hot, sweaty day.

Quiet, Comfy Home

Positives: 1. Homeowner- Linda was amazing to communicate with. She answered all question promptly, gave recommendations for the area, and truly wants you to be cozy in her home! 2. House was very clean! And that was greatly appreciated! The towels and sheets were provided and were high quality. 3. Amenities: so many things provided!! Beach towels, some beach chairs and umbrella, waffle iron, crockpot, Linda lists all that is provided with the house. 4. The neighborhood and the inside of the house was quiet. 5. The house accommodates 6 people nicely! We had 7 and that was ok- just hard with only one main living room if some wanted to watch TV, some playing board games, or some wanting to read. If you needed quiet, you went to a bedroom. Not any real negatives, but things you should know about the house… 1. The location of the house is not as convenient as we thought it would be to free beach parking or beach access. 2. The porch offers a great sitting area, but the view from the porch is of the neighbors homes, the road, and some trees across the way. 3. The driveway was a very steep gravel driveway. Things you should know about the area… 1. Parking - Fort Fisher is the only place where you can park for free. Carolina beach, Wrightsville Beach, the board walk, the Riverwalk and downtown Wilmington- ALL paid parking. Which gets really expensive for a long stay. 2. Traffic is not great at all. 3. The Carolina Beach boardwalk is more like a carnival.

Great family home

This home is located in a quite neighborhood about 10-15 minutes from the beach. It is a great in-between location for lots of things. This home is very well maintained and is always a ñice getaway. The owner is very easy to get ahold of for questions and is great to deal with. I would definitely recommend this property for a family vacation. Thanks again Linda for a great vacation home.

What a find!

Very nice home! Extremely clean, plenty of room, comes with just about anything you need to enjoy yourself at the beach. Quiet, to yourself type of location. Linda was a tremendous host, responded immediately and made us feel very welcome. The one and only issue I had was the Wi-Fi, but other than that I can’t think of anything wrong with this place! Will be back!

We love this house. It is only a few miles from the beach. Everything is close to this property. Your not stuck in one room, your family can be all together ! You can cook meals together, sit on the porch (one of my favorite things about the house)
