Entertainment Themed-The Picayune, Historic luxury condo with balcony, 2 blocks from French Quarter

Thank you Mr. Thomas and family for the 5 Star Review. We enjoyed hosting your family in New Orleans. It is the greatest location for coming and going to all the sight, sounds and eats there are so close to all our beloved City has to offer. We really had a fun time with the "themed" condos of all 10 of the condos, based on different sections of the newspaper in The Picayune Building, the original home to the "Times - Picayune Newspaper" from the 1880's. I will let our housekeeping staff know you approved of all their hard work. If you are thinking about making a return visit to do more things, or those things that you ran out of time to experience, we offer discounts to returning guests. To get your Return Guest Discount Promo Code, give us a call before you make those reservations. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Lisa for the 5 Star Review. We love hearing you had an enjoyable stay in New Orleans. Thank you Hannah for your time to write this direct and to the point 5 Star Review. We appreciate that. We can never say enough about what a perfect location The Picayune Building is. Hope to see you again, soon. VacayNOLA!

Thanks Raymond for the accolades of this newspaper sections, themed condo titled "Entertainment" from the Times-Picayune newspaper building used between 1890 - 1969. The location is in the middle of the City, so the reporters could get out to all the neighborhoods and communities for the stories to be published in the newspaper. These condos are not your typical, small, cramped residents in downtown New Orleans. Yes, these condos are larger than some homes, based on square footage of 1200 sqft in the downtown area is rare and so much larger than even the hotel suites. When you are ready to make the return trip to visit this wonderfully magical city, give us a call. We offer discounts on repeat guest. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Maegan, you are beautiful to rate us with 5 Stars. We actually had lots of fun decorating all 10 of the condos in The Picayune Building, home of the original "Times - Picayune Newspaper", where each condo's décor is "themed" based on sections of the newspaper. And why wouldn't the newspaper back in the 1880's to 1920's not be the prime location in the city to get all the latest news? Still very centrally located to all New Orleans has to offer in the way of attractions, fun and foods! Because you were for a work convention, we are sure there were things that you didn't get to make off your must see, do, eat list, so give is a call before you make reservations for that return visit to get your Return Guest Discount Promo Code. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Nataliya and friends for the 5 Star Review. We were excited you arrived in New Orleans to experience the last day of our Mardi Gras parades. To the rest of the world, it's just another Tuesday, but here, we know how to throw a party. Glad you came to join us! We cannot express what a perfect location this condo building is to everyone. Everything you want to go , do, see and eat is just a few short blocks walk from your "home" base in the heart of downtown. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Linda and friends for staying with us. Sure wish we could get ten stars, but will gladly accept the 5 Stars and Vrbo / HomeAway allows. It is the perfect location to experience all of New Orleans from eating your way through town, which there is never enough time to do, to seeing all the sights and listening to the various places for nightly music. We had such a fun time creating themes for the 10 condos we manage in this building, and based each one on a different section of the newspaper, "Times - Picayune" as this building was the original home to the news side and the print side as well. Glad you enjoyed "Entertainment". On your next visit, when you contact us about getting the Return Guest Discount Promo Code, before making your next reservation, ask about the 9 additional condos for your stay. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Tara and friends for choosing the "Entertainment" themed condo in The Picayune Building, the original home of the "Times - Picayune Newspaper" from the 1860's. We are glad you rated us 5 Stars, had a wonderful time in New Orleans, appreciated how hard our housekeeping krewes work to get and keep the condos so clean, especially after Mardi Gras. Cannot beat the location! It truly is a small world and how we all have some minuscule connection. Hope to see you all back for future stay dates to VacayNOLA!

Thank you for the kind words and expressing your fondness of the perfect location in downtown New Orleans because it is so walkable to all there is to see, do and EAT in our beloved city. In addition to being a few blocks away from Bourbon Street chaos, the bedrooms of The Picayune Building are all to the interior of the building, so that also helps block out extra street noise for restful night sleep. Thanks Deb, we loved having you and your friends for a much needed Girls Getaway!

Thank you Alisha and friends for the 5 Star Review. You are correct that although a short walk over to the French Quarter, The Picayune Building is far enough away that you don't hear that all night chaos, so you can get some rest and sleep to get up and do it all over again the next day. We tried to make this a very comfortable and home like setting so if you had rain or decided to stay in for the afternoon or night, everyone would be comfortable in doing so. when you are ready to bring more friends back with you for the next visit, we also have a couple of three bedroom / 3 bath condos in the same building. Give us a call to get your Return Guest Discount coupon code before making your future reservations. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Deanna and friends for the 5 Star Review. We know how refreshing to have a cool beverage once you get settled after traveling. So excited you found The Picayune Building a perfectly centralized location in New Orleans. We were worried about you getting here after that ice storm, but so glad you were able to get to a warmer New Orleans and have some fun while you VacayNOLA!

Thank you Erin and family for the 5 Star Review. We cannot express enough about The Picayune Building and this condo themed "Entertainment". We love reading reviews such as yours that truthfully says what we try to every day, this IS the perfect location to experience all of what New Orleans has to offer. Close walking distances to our food and fun, in all directions surround this building, but a good, safe, quiet location to come back to for a restful night sleep. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Larry and friends for the 5 Star Review. It's just not a successful JazzFest without some rain and mud mixed in with the "festing" atmosphere. Remember to contact us prior to making those future New Orleans reservations to get the Return Guest Discount promo code. Reserving early will get you your most favorite condo, or try any of the 10 condos we have in The Picayune Building. VacayNOLA!

Thank you for noticing the high end touches in this historic building, full of exposed old brick, original windows and hardwood floors. Great suggestion, we usually leave a box of facial tissues in the condos, once it starts getting cooler. It stayed a lot hotter so much later this year, we just haven't ordered that shipment. Thanks for the reminder. See you back soon! VacayNOLA

Thank you Irma and friends for the 5 Star Review. At first when I read this, my heart stopped, what?!! They had 70+ adults in the condo, that's not possible! After reading that again, it was good to know that with all the years of life experiences, this was a great location for you to enjoy with your friends and the elevator was a huge plus. We cannot express enough what a perfect location The Picayune Building is to everything New Orleans has to offer; food, fun, dining, music and entertainment, beverages, shopping and always a new, exciting or different food at just about every block! We so enjoyed hosting you and would love to have you come back. Contact us prior to making your future reservations to get our most current coupon code for your Return Guest Discount. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Tina and friends for the 5 Star Review of "Entertainment", the themed condo from the sections of the original "Timed - Picayune Newspaper" that was originally in this building when built in 1880's. It is a great location to stay when in New Orleans for fall festivals, football, concerts, and FOOD! So glad your group had a wonderful time, yet sad that your vehicle was vandalized in one of the pay parking lots, north of the building. It is not a good feeling to walk out to load up your car on departure morning to find that. We are relieved that you didn't have to drive home in the rain, without the window. Perhaps on your next visit, you take the "City of New Orleans" train down, if that is a bucket list adventure. We would love to host you again. We do offer discounts to returning guests. Give is a call to get the most current discount promo code before making future reservations. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Steve and friends for the 5 Star Review. Glad to hear you had a good time in our beloved City. There is always something up down here.

Thank you Chase and traveling friends for the 5* review. So excited you are ready to come back. Isn't this location the best? Close to all the attractions and far enough away to be quiet and clean. Give us a call when you are ready to make that repeat visit. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Kim. I cannot tell you how much we needed your positive review amid all of the panic and hysteria of those cancelling from Covid-19. We are so glad you were able to enjoy all our city has to offer, food, fun and a great condo to come back to for some rest from all of the adventures you had to experience. We would love to have your group come back and visit again. We offer discounts to returning guest. Call us when you are ready. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Sue for the 5* review. We were very happy that you asked those questions about where the extra pillows were, and finding the cutting board in the cabinet. Better than you leaving still being mad about something, then we don't know about it and may miss it before the next guests check in. Those interior bedrooms can be a double edge sword. With no windows, you don't have sunlight to wake you up to start the next days' adventures early, but then again, some may need that extra time to sleep in, from that night's adventures.... It's also great to not be near either the street or alley to listen to "city" & "Street" noise all hours of the night, like sirens, delivery trucks, trash pick up and dumpsters banging on the tops of the compacting trucks, and those annoying back up beeps from trucks backing out of the Picayune Alley, nope not in those bedrooms. You now know THE perfect place to stay for either of the MARDI GRAS weekends. Yes, you can walk 1 or 3 blocks to watch a parade and catch some throws, but always be close to the most important things to have during Carnival Season, a clean and close restroom! Love to have your group back again next year, VacayNOLA!
