The rooms are smaller than we expected and didn’t realize that the house was part of a gated community and couldn’t take golf carts off property which we enjoy doing. But overall a great location very clean and it’s right across from the beach access. Had a great time!

We have vacationed in the area for several years now and this is a home our family would definitely come back too. The ease of accessing the rental and the space inside the home makes it a great family friendly experience. There is plenty of parking and a quick walk to the beach. This home is inside Oceanside Village that is a gated community so security is also a plus as is the pool and extra activities the complex offers. Trust me you will love it here.

The description of the property is very clear and you will love the closeness to the beach, come out the door cross the street feet in the sand !! And you couldn’t ask for a more kinder and helpful host !!! House is very clean and organized, too !Book it !!!! Pam Allman

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed ourselves. The house had everything we needed. There was plenty of space for all 5 of us adults. The location to the beach was fantastic. We will definitely be back some day.

Perfect Beach Location

This was a perfect beach location! We had to cut our vacation short because of the tropical weather but we really enjoyed this house. There was plenty of room and everything was very clean and exactly as described

In addition to being such gracious hosts, the house was perfect for our family. Plenty of living space and nice to have the extra room with the tv for the kids. The outdoor shower is great - it made it much easier to keep the floors in the house sand-free. The location couldn’t be more perfect - just right across the street from the public access to the beach. All in all, a great place to stay! Thanks for having us!

Great location!

The place was everything the listing shows. It was spacious for 4 adults and 4 kids. Great location to the beach. If you like to do alot in North Myrtle be prepared to drive 25+ minutes. The pool was nice, but could get very crowded. Overall I would definitely stay again!

Perfect getaway

We really enjoyed our brief stay! The house was clean and spacious. Plenty of space for the family spread out in the living areas. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. The owner was helpful and responsive when contacted. Check in/out was really easy. We would love to rent this house in the summer to get full use of all it has to offer as well the community amenities!

So close to the beach!

Great location to the beach! House was as described and clean. Needs some upgrades that the owner said they are planning this fall. Only downfall was the pool was entirely too crowded. Only went there once the entire week. The community is too large for the size of the pool. Otherwise great stay!

Oceanside Village offers three pools for residents and guests. There is the outdoor traditional pool adjacent to the children’s splash pad and lounge pool with spa, and also an indoor pool. Sorry it was crowded when you visited. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and the proximity to the Beach! We hope to host you again.

Close to the beach

This was our first time staying in a house since we’ve been coming to SC for our family vacations. We usually stay in a condo on the beach. If you’re looking for affordable housing in close proximity to the beach then this is your place. On numerous occasions during our stay family commented about how convenient this house and the one next door that is owned by the same family is to the beach. It was no problem to run the family across to the beach and run back to the house to make lunch or refill the cooler. The house is very nicely laid out, plenty of room for everyone to spread out if they needed space or plenty of room to gather together for a dinner and you didn’t feel crapped. We are looking forward to coming back next year.

The place was very clean when we got there. I believe the cleaners even vacuum the furniture. It had plenty of room. The kitchen, though a little tight for multiple butts to move, was very well equipped. Plenty of dishes and cookware. The 2 minute walk to the beach was great! There was plenty of parking for several vehicles. Although we didn't rent a golf cart from the association, it might be important to note you can NOT rent outside carts to explore the area. Other than that small annoyance, it was overall a great stay.

Lovely home, close to beach

We had a great time during our stay at this home! The home was comfortable with absolutely everything we needed! It's furnished nicely with lots of space to spread out. The location can't be beat as it's just across the road from the beach. The plan it's in is nice and we spent some time at the pools. I like that they have pretty strict quiet hours after like 11pm so we had no trouble sleeping. It was a great vacation and would love to come back next year!

1st Myrtle trip

We had 7 adults on our trip and there was plenty of space for all of us and everything we needed, Cathy was great to work with. We loved that we could walk out of the house and be at the beach in about 3 minutes, the outdoor shower and big front porch was a plus too. The included amenities were also a nice bonus. I would definitely book this house again if I go back to Myrtle.

Amazing location!

Overall everything was great. Easy location to get to and from the beach, and the place was great. Only things we did not like were the rules about golf carts - only allowed to rent from the property group (no outside rentals allowed in the gated community) which is no fault of the owners, and the fee to get a pass to the gate that is closer to the house seems unnecessary (again, no fault of the owners). The communication was great and the house and location were absolutely worth the money spent. Would definitely rent again!

Very Family Friendly

We were looking for a place, close to the ocean, that would be suitable for adults and children ages 5, 4 and 3. 2144 Lark was perfect for what we needed. There was plenty of space for the boys to play and for the adults to relax while keeping an eye on them. The big bonus was just walking across the street to the beach. We enjoyed our stay so much and will keep 2144 Lark on our short list of fabulous places to stay.
