*We keep an allergen free house for our cleaning crew and future renters. Therefore, we have a no pet policy.

Plan well in advance for our peak Summer and Winter seasons. We book up quickly. Can't beat our location if you're skiing at Nubs Nob. You can walk from our front door to the ski hill within minutes!

Summer: Great getaway spot. Local hiking/biking trails. Beaches within minutes drive. Great Harbor Springs and Petoskey local shopping! Quiet wooded neighborhood. Perfect to have morning coffee on the front deck and listen to the birds chirping.

Winter: Ski Hill Location! Walk to the Nubs Nob Ski Hill (3 minute walk). Close to Boyne Highlands too (3 minute drive).

Great Value......can't beat our location. Harbor Springs 7 miles away. Petoskey 10 miles away. Both Skybridge of Michigan at Boyne and Mackinac Island ferry within a 40 minute drive :)

Chalet has 3 beds:
2 bedrooms (1 Queen bed in each) and a loft that looks over the main floor living area (1 Queen).

Central air conditioning, fully stocked kitchen, roomy outdoor deck. All linens and towels provided.

Perfect weekend or weekly getaway location. Close to both Harbor Springs and Petoskey (known for great downtown shopping). Several local beaches (summer) within minutes drive. Bring books/magazines to read. Move in and feel at home for your stay. Super for a romantic getaway or a family ski/summer vacation. Pelston Regional Airport is approximately 20 minute drive/Traverse City Airport about 90 minute drive.

We Love this Chalet!

This is our family's second time staying at this chalet and we had another fabulous stay. So close to Nubs (and easy drive to Highlands). It snowed heavily just before we arrived and the driveway was plowed and steps / porch also cleared off. It was lovely to arrive to a clean and cozy house after surviving our white-out drive to Harbor Springs! The chalet is set up well for skiers with lots of hooks to hang gear on. We had a great trip - thank you Gary!

Great ski spot!

This was the perfect spot for us! There was plenty of space for all four of us (our two teenage sons were with us). We were able to cook meals and walk to the slopes. It was so easy to communicate with the owner too with the few questions we had. The only thing I would caution is if you’re going in the winter, make sure you have 4 wheel drive. We had several inches of snow while we were there and the driveway and road didn’t get plowed until the following day. We can’t wait to stay there again!

Family ski trip

This was our 2nd year staying at this VRBO. Great location, just steps from Nubs Nob and a short drive to Boyne Highlands. Very clean and the kitchen was stocked with necessary equipment needed to enjoy a couple meals when not wanting to eat out.

Ski trip

Quick little snowboarding trip for myself. Easy booking, plowed each day. Clean with all the standard necessities and some extras. Would definitely stay again.

Nubs Nob ski trip

Great spot for our ski weekend with 11,13, & 15 year olds. Super clean & well stocked chalet. Driveway was steep but we handled fine in our awd vehicle. Bathroom shower door was very squeaky, beware for early riser or late night showers as it woke up our crew. We will be back to this awesome place!

Mother daughters’ weekend

My 86 year old mother, sister, and I rented this unit for a fun girls weekend. The chalet provided everything we wanted- and more! The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this rental.

cozy stay

my family and I had a great weekend stay here and would definitely come back. We had the perfect fall weekend in harbor springs, and the cabin was perfect for it. Great location, gorgeous deck with privacy. Comfy beds. Had everything we needed!

Our fall color tour

We enjoyed our stay very much! Adorable and charming VRBO, very clean and had all the amenities. Tucked away in an enchanting part of town, close to everything we wanted to explore. We will definitely return to this incredible gem. The owners were very responsive and helpful!

My daughter & I chose this chalet for our fall getaway and it was absolutely perfect. They had everything we needed and it was SO CUTE and clean. We didn’t want to leave!

Quaint A frame house

Very clean house close to the Highlands. We had three couples that participated in Biketember which began and ended at the Highlands. We enjoyed dinner on the outside balcony and breakfast off the kitchen which accommodated all six of us. The beds were comfortable. The owner was very responsive to our questions. Over all, a great experience.

Cute little a-frame cabin/chalet. Not fussy, but not too rustic either. Good location, quiet neighborhood. Small rooms due to the roofline, but comfortable. Great stay for the price!

Cozy chalet

We enjoyed our stay. It was clean, peaceful, and in a great location. Host was very helpful and went out their way to make us feel welcomed. Would definitely recommend.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

We bought our Chalet in 2003. Lived in it for 3 years - perfect for our pre-child snowboarding lives. And the A-frame style is super cozy - different from your everyday 'cookie-cutter' homes. When we bought a home in Petoskey (needed more room for kids), we had to find a way to keep the Chalet. It's too perfect to let go! So it's now available for others to enjoy as a rental property. We miss living in the Chalet - brings back great memories of the quaint neighborhood everytime we are there getting it ready for our next guests.
