Sitting on 2 beautiful green acres on the shores of Ironton Cove rests an early 1900s immaculately furnished farm house offering four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Sleeps 10.

It's like taking a step back in time. At the foot of the historic Ironton Ferry and only seven miles from Boyne City, the location is perfect. Crossing the Ironton Ferry, downtown Charlevoix is 5 miles away, and only 3 miles from Northern Michigans premiere wedding destination venue, Castle Farms. Across the narrows from your beach is the Landings Restaurant, Lake Charlevoix's premier lakefront dining. Enjoy a casual round of golf at Ye Nyne Olde Holes Golf Club just down the road. Perfect location for winter vacationers as well, with Boyne Mountain Ski Resort only a 15 minute drive. The property also conducive for cross country skiing, snow shoeing and snowmobilers, with access to the lake as well as the great big front and back yard the farm house for your own recreational use. Perfect for all four seasons; from the hot summer days lounging on the sun deck, to the crisp Autumn afternoons during color tour, to the majestic winter landscape that northern Michigan has to offer. This property has it all.

For the kids, a volleyball and badminton net set up in the side yard for more outdoor family fun.

Eight people (including kids 5, 3 and 4 mths) found that this home had something for everyone. The beach, the ferry, a restaurant/bar and outdoor spaces kept us busy. When it was cold and rainy we took advantage of the game table and listened to records. It was important to us that there was open floor space to roll around so we had plenty of room to play

Winter renting was very beautiful and quiet. Great location to many activities. Nate was a great host. The house had everything we needed.

This home had wonderful old farmhouse charm and was perfect for our family ski trip to Boyne. There was plenty of room for everyone, and we had a great stay. Nate was a fantastic host with excellent communication—he even shoveled and salted the walk before our arrival, which we really appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.

Our host Nate really went the extra mile, and provided firewood and a ready made fire down at the beach for us. We forgot to bring a bluetooth speaker, and he hustled over 2 of them for us to use right away! The property is charming and well appointed with extra’s that made our stay wonderful ( Bottled water, paper towels, good supply of cooking pots and utensils. Communications were always answered in a timely manner from Nate. I would highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway Up North or for a family event like a Wedding. We will be back for sure!

Nice location walkable to the lake. From inside the house, views of the lake are limited. We walked the short distance to the lake and enjoyed a wonderful night sitting lakeside near the fire pit.

Amazing Stay

We absolutely loved this property. The location was perfect. We really enjoyed the yard (badminton, volleyball and croquet). The fire pit down on Lake Charlevoix was beautiful.

With Castle Farms so close, the Ironton Ferry does make it quick and easy to get to any event including weddings at the castle. The history behind the Ironton Ferry is pretty amazing. It’s gotten to be quite the tourist attraction as well the last 5 years. Glad you enjoyed your stay.

Great location

Very clean, close to the water and huge yard. Very helpful when we had left some items behind and Nate went above and beyond to get our stuff mailed back to us.

Wedding party house, awesome time!

This house had cute charm, a lot of extra fun activities to keep us busy, in the volleyball area was an awesome bonus. We had a great time and the owner is very nice with good communication.

Nice time

Cool spot with lots of amenities. Beach is a little rocky so not ideal for small children, but there’s a great public park with sandy beach and shallow water just a few minutes down the road. Nate was great!

Lovely Farm House

We enjoyed staying at the Farmhouse while we were spending the weekend skiing. We had room to spread out. We loved the record collection and had a blast playing them when we were back from the slopes in the evenings. Nate was super responsive when we had questions. We would stay again if we were in the area.

Best Host!

My family and I had a wonderful time and made many memories to forever remember. The house was exceptionally wonderful. Nate was an absolute wonderful host. He was always available. We plan to rebook this location again next summer. The location was magnificent.

Charlevoix the Beautiful

Our family rented this home so we could go to a Friday Night Wedding. What a wonderful home to stay at. Even though we were unable to use all of the outside facilities available to us due to the fact it rained the entire weekend. Family members enjoyed it so much they asked when can we come back?

Perfect for our needs......

We were there for a family wedding and had age ranges from 18-90. The house was comfy, the outdoor space was wonderful and when the ferry was running, we were very close to where we needed to be:)

Quaint and cozy

Our family had an amazing time! You walked inside the house, and it was like you were walking back in time. We went to Avalanche Bay, BC Pizza, and a night of tubing at Boyne Mountain. The kids had smiles on their faces all weekend. Score!

Beautiful big house

Beautiful big house, spotless clean, everything you might need can be found. Property and house are extremely well taken care of. Nice place on the beach with afternoon sun and dock, fireplace at the beach and at the house. Volleyball net, lots of games.

Space to Roam

The property was great and Nate was the best host. Our family had a lot of fun playing in the yard, sitting on the porch and beach deck. We did realize we needed to purchase drinking water as the home’s water I am guessing was high in iron. We enjoyed being able to catch the ferry so easily.

Fun week on the lake

We had a great time. The house is an older farm house, but it had everything we needed. The property is large with a lot of green space, and the access to the water is very nice. The only issue is that the lake is across the road, which can be lined up with cars parked and waiting for a ferry, but it didn’t interfere with our stay too much. We brought our boat and this location was perfect access point to explore everything Lake Charlevoix has to offer.
