We had a great stay. A very nice cabin with the wood cabin interior. There is a nice giant deck right off the water to enjoy the sun & sounds of the waves. The host was very attentive to our needs. Would definitely stay here again

The view and the cabin is breathtaking. It was truly a heavenly experience. The pictures just cannot do the entire experience justice!!

Wonderful Lakefront location!

The Shack exceeded our expectations! The location was perfect, the cabin was (very) clean and cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great location near Boyne City and other attractions. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Perfect size cottage for our family of 4.

Turned out to be the perfect place for our Father Son trip to MI.

2 bedrooms - all we needed - and loved the waterfront and ability to park a large Pontoon Boat at the dock.

Great little cabin on the lake

My wife and I had a great time staying here for two nights. The cabin is cozy for a small group of people and the property is adjacent to a public shoreline/beach. We only wish we stayed longer!

Great location on a beautiful lake

Lake charlevoix is beautiful and this spot puts you right on the water. An ideal location. Whiting park is right next door with a nice sandy beach for morning and evening strolls. We really enjoyed out stay!

Beautiful Setting

We love staying at this property. This was our third visit and the location is wonderful. It is close to walking trails and a beautiful sandy beach. The water is stunning and very clean. We look forward to our next visit!

Beautiful Setting

My husband and I love this property! The lake is beautiful. It is a perfect place to go and unwind. The cottage is clean and the host is great. Love this place!

Weekend get away

Perfect Labor Day weekend get away for 4 adults and our dog. I would definitely go back. Beautiful waters, sandy bottom beach, plenty of deck space, cozy cabin.

It was a perfect vacation. Being right on the water but not too far from the city made it an awesome location. Can't wait until we get back next year!

The Shack

The perfect spot, close to town but out of the noise of the city. Feels like your on a houseboat , you’re right on top of the water. Will stay again

Great Location and View

We stayed here in January, and we were happy with everything. Great cottage, great area, great view. Easy check in/out, place was very clean, and the heater worked great (important for the middle of winter!) Thank you

Round 2 at “The Shack” did not disappoint! We were so impressed with Kevin and this home from our last stay that we booked again. Once again we had an amazing week on the lake. You can not beat the view from the dock. We will be back!

Heaven with a view

The "Shack" was cozy and made us feel at home. The location was perfect. Thank you Kevin for opening your home to us. We didn't want to leave. We are hoping to stay again next summer.

Will be back!

Cozy cabin with everything you need. Loved the deck, dock and boat lift, which accommodated the weight of our boat. Daily visits from different ducks and loved the seclusion and access to the lakes. Already booked our next trip!
