Really great home, super friendly neighbors, nice and quiet area. Great for our 3 year old son. Been coming to OBX my whole life but never stayed soundside and was really impressed! Can’t wait to come back!

Lovely, pet-friendly home with an amazing view, on a quiet and peaceful street. Check-in was easy. Clean, comfortable and perfect for a small number of visitors. The beds are great! You will love the daily amenities that were available, from spices to laundry detergent! Dining options are close by, too. We were very happy with our stay and are looking forward to coming back in the future. Thank you, Barbara!!

House has a galley kitchen, narrow and hard for people to pass each other in. If everybody likes to work together in the kitchen it won't work for you. Loved the view and the canal access. We thought the front bedroom was nicer than the master in the back.

Only thing I had trouble with finding local TV channels. Cheat sheet on how to operate Spectrum would help. Not accustomed to steaming.

Hey Albert, so happy you enjoyed your stay. I appreciate very much your suggestion for a " cheat sheet". I supplied instructions as soon as I read your review. I'm sorry I did not have them while you were there, I would have happily brought them had I known. The living room TV and one of the bedroom tvs are new Samsung Smart TV's and I did not realize the issue. I hope you can come back and visit and I thank you for alerting me about the trouble finding the free channels! Best, Barbara

Repeat stay at a great spotThis trip was our second occasion to stay at this location. The house is located in a local neighborhood inside a gated community, behind the Wight Bros Memorial. Convenient to many attractions, grocery stores, restaurants; but peaceful if you just want to sit on the dock of a canal. The house was extremely clean and the amenities were as advertised and in proper working order. One of our needs is a pet friendly house; and, the host is very amenable to allowing dogs. When we decide on a time to visit the Outer Banks again, this place will be the first I look to book.As with our first stay, we have no negatives to report.

Wonderful place to stay

This place was clean, quiet close to beach and shops equipped with everything you could need We had a very comfortable relaxing fun stay and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in OBX restaurants around the area are outstanding

Our family of 4 stayed here to attend a graduation ceremony. It was a lovely spot, and perfect size for us.
