We loved our stay!

Beautiful, Quiet, Peaceful, stay! We enjoy visiting Fredericksburg and surrounding areas, such as Enchanted Rock, the Wineries throughout the surrounding area. We ate breakfast for the first time at the Old German Bakery and restaurant. Will always seek to eat breakfast there. Best ever omelette Ive ever had.

This is a classy small couples cabin I was very pleased with the location and price the cabin was very clean and comfortable perfect for a get away weekend with the wife

The cabin was beautiful. It was in a spot that made you feel like you were far off in the woods but you’re minutes from town. We loved the breakfast vouchers. Great communication by the hosts.

My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary stay at this cabin. Location is perfect. A short drive to downtown. Quiet neighborhood. The bed was comfortable and the shower and jacuzzi tub had great water pressure.

Secluded, romantic destination.

Romantic cabin for two seculded, but still close to town. Exceptional shower with clean kitchen for a short stay. Continuous view of wild life major plus.

Incredible and romantic stay!

We loved our time at Cedar Bliss Cabin. It looks so authentic and cozy inside that we had to push ourselves to go out and explore other things. We initially booked for 2 nights but then decided to extend our stay by one more day. The only thing, we couldn't find more trash bags to use, but it may have been hidden somewhere.

Cute, cozy cabin for 2

Loved the fireplace. Kept the place nice and warm. The bathtub was awesome except the jacuzzi did not work unfortunately. Loves seeing the deer run about and the candles throughout the home were a nice touch. Would recommend!

Nice stay

Nice and peaceful. Love the complimentary drinks. Didn’t rate excellent due to cleanliness. Dishes and silverware were dirty. There was earrings and socks by bed, and remote had sticky stuff all over it. Other than that very nice. Also the back porch light won’t stay on. As soon as I let go of switch it would go off. So couldn’t sit outside for dinner.

First off, this is a very romantic setting, and was a perfect spot to celebrate our 36th anniversary. Pictures can't capture the beautiful use of cedar wood throughout the cabin, which extended from the carpentry to the countertops to the furniture. If you are as silly as I am for this wood, you'll be in heaven. The bed was very comfortable, and it was a treat to have the Jacuzzi. We chose this place because of its proximity to the Hilltop Cafe, where we had an amazing anniversary dinner and enjoyed the music of the proprietor, Johnny Nicolas. Schedule your getaway to coincide with one of his performances, and you'll be richly rewarded! When you make your reservations for the Hilltop, order the crab-stuffed flounder for two, which is also topped with shrimp. Having digressed, the cabin is very comfortable, and a feast for the eyes. There's an "instant" fireplace that added to the atmosphere. If visiting in the winter, you should request that they start the heater going the morning before you are scheduled to arrive. Because of the beautiful vaulted ceiling, the place takes a while to warm up. BTW, we saw five deer on the night we arrived! The cabin is one of the most romantic settings we've ever booked, and we plan to return. 5 stars.

This cabin was wonderful. It is in the country, but close enough to town to be convenient. The rooms are tastefully decorated. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting.

We stayed there for our anniversary and it was perfect for us. Quiet and peaceful. Check-in was easy and the host left very clear instructions on where to find what we needed in the cabin. I would stay there again!Very thoughtful host left us a bottle of wine and two brunch vouchers for a local restaurant, plus bottled waters and soft drinks in the fridge.
