This was a great spot with a wonderful view over Lost Lake. Host had some locally made snacks and coffee for us there that was amazing. We would definitely stay here again.

The whole transaction was easy and smooth. The location is quiet and beautiful. The house is very clean and in order, with several small touches done by the hosts. We enjoyed our stay and would suggest a place to anybody.

Lost Lake was a great location for our first trip to the UP. Convenient to attractions and restaurants. Excellent communication with the owner. Nice extra touches like the homemade s'mores and all the games. Lots of towels and extra blankets. Water bubbler was greatly appreciated.

Host was very welcoming. Very nice incidentals. Property was beautiful. We loved exploring the lake with the kayaks that were provided with the house. Clean. Everything in working order.

Lost Lake is a great place to relax and enjoy a fantastic lake view! The house is very comfortable and we really enjoyed sitting out on the deck and watching the sunset. The host, Kris is responsive, communicative and kind. She goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need. We highly recommend this property.

Great host, communication wonderful, directions helpful, comfy beds, plenty of wood, fun water toys, the grill was decent, plenty of extra water for water cooler, lots of space, loved the notes everywhere which were helpful, all the little extra amenities, fire starters were great, we could go on, the place was wonderful! Loved the lake. Saw an eagle and lots of stars. Everything we needed!!

Wonderful property for visit to Painted Rocks and surrounding area. Beautiful lake views, availability of kayaks, paddleboat, etc, and clean comfortable home with all the amenities. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time here. Right from the start the communication was great. Kristen, our host, gave us so much information about things to do and great places to dine. When we arrived the check in was flawless. The cabin/home was perfect and you can’t beat the views, absolutely stunning! We came up for the Fall colors and we sure weren’t disappointed. The view from the deck was spectacular and the lake was just steps away. The amenities were plentiful and thoughtful. Books about the area, games and puzzles, some tasty local treats, fire pit supplies, kayaks, the list goes on. If you forgot something while packing it could likely be found in the cabin. My childhood friend and I made this trip together so for our getaway this was more than perfect but a family with kids would be perfect in this place too. I would not hesitate to come back here. A huge thank you to our hosts Kristen and Todd for helping make our time at Lost Lake, and the area in general, memorable.

Gorgeous lake and loved that the house special touches. Would definitely stay here again in a heart. We got lucky to see so many shooting stars, the Milky Way and some beautiful sunsets over the lake.

Excellent location. The owners were responsive, excellent hosts who STOCKED the house with goodies that I have not seen offered by other houses we've stayed at. While not the best house we've stayed in, it was the best that we saw in the area available.

We loved our stay! Never have I ever stayed at a property that had this much love poured into it. From the little notes to the well stocked everything to the recommendations to local businesses, it was great! Plenty of room for our family of six to spread out inside and out. They’ve thought of everything: extra fans, coolers to take on day trips, so many extra towels and bedding, chargers, white noise machines, chilled mugs in the freezer, pantry staples, kayaks and gear, beach blankets. They even provided firewood, fire starter and bug spray. If you think you need to pack it you probably don’t! We loved kayaking at all times of the day, and watching loons with the binoculars from the breakfast nook. Well stocked game cabinet, even very fun music loaded in the CD player from local musicians. The location is great as well. Close to downtown Munising which has great coffee shops and stores. You won’t be disappointed with your stay here and the hosts are super responsive and helpful. :) We’d happily come back!

Excellent location for visiting Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore

Spacious, clean, and well-appointed house on a lovely small lake just a short drive from Munising and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Plenty of room for five adults!

Great Lakefront property

We enjoyed our stay on the beautiful lake! We appreciated having all the comforts of home and had fun with the kayaks and paddle board:) An awesome place to relax after a long days of hiking at Pictured Rock:)
