Welcome to The Cabins at Lake Tahoe UP! Our fully furnished cabins are ready for you to enjoy. We are located inside the beautiful Hiawatha National Forest. There is something for all of the outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy. Bring your food and sense of adventure and let us take care of the rest. A property manger is on-site in the office to answer any questions or be of assistance during your stay.

This spacious, clean cabin in the woods was the perfect place for my parents, my three kids and I - along with my son's girlfriend - to stay while we explored the UP. Great hospitality and promptly responsive hosts. It felt deep in the woods, yet just about a 10 minute drive from the closest grocery store/gas station, and just the right distance from all the places we wanted to visit: Kitch-iti-kipi, Fayette Historic State Park, Pictured Rocks, Marquette (Sugarloaf Mountains), Oswald Bear Ranch, and Tahquamenon Falls. We also enjoyed the trails on the property, sitting out by the campfire under the stars, and rocking on the covered porch on a rainy night. We are already planning when we might come back, we loved this place so much!

Very nice place to stay and ride snowmobile. Within a mile from the trail and can go through woods to get to trail. Very comfortable with two baths and a full kitchen. Perfect for our family. Will probably be back!!

Great getaway

Host was very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions we had. Cute cabin, nice for a larger group. Clean and had everything we needed.

Wonderful U.P. Stay!

Loved everything about the Grey Wolf Cabin! Comfy, Cozy, Clean, awesome location, excellent communication with host! Highly recommend this cabin if your looking for a great experience on your trip to the upper peninsula of Michigan!

The cabin was perfect for our family vacation! Everything was as described on the listing. Check in was easy and the owner answered our questions quickly! Plenty of beds, kitchen was stocked with essentials, and bathrooms had plenty of towels and supplies. I wish we had more time to explore the area!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in the Grey Wolf cabin. Check in was extremely easy, it was perfectly clean and the property was in an excellent, peaceful location. Melodie was so helpful with everything! Can't recommend enough.Thank you so much!

Great layout and location

Our family of five really enjoyed our stay. The three bedrooms allowed plenty of space and the open concept living area was perfect. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Everything was clean and comfortable. The only small item that could be improved was mowing the weeds out of the back yard. The home was a quick drive to everything we wanted to see in.

Great for two couples and kids

Great cabin for two couples with kids. Two bedrooms are separate from the third, which as an on suite. Allowed the couple with kids to put them to sleep and not disturb other adults. Front screened in porch was great for evening hanging out while kids in bed.

Good Grey Wolf stay

In the woods but close enough to tourist things like Picture Rocks Cruise. G-kids happy with wi-fi. Well provisioned kitchen. We even had hot dogs & s’mores at the fire pit one night. I would return.

Great location!

Our group came to explore the Pictured Rocks area and this put us right close to everything we wanted to be at. The space was well laid out to fit all of us, though a couple beds we had to share felt a little small. The place was cozy, layout was great, and we had a wonderful time. The only thing we wished was different would be having just a few more kitchen items to help with large group cooking (serving bowls and baking pans, for instance). We bought a few items we left at the VRBO to assist. Great stay overall!

No Snow Snowmobile Weekend

Despite the weather not cooperating (i.e. not enough snow for snowmobiling), our February trip to Lake Tahoe Resort UP was awesome. Ryan is a great host, the Grey Wolf cabin is spacious and well-equipped, and the location is close to many destinations in the eastern UP. Our group hopes to return to Lake Tahoe Resort UP next year (and bring our sleds!).

Wetmore Visit

We were pleasantly impressed by the cabin we stayed at over in Upper Michigan. We enjoyed the amenities it had like the free towels and pots and pans available for use, but a few things we had to go buy from the store, so that was a little disappointing. Additionally, our cabin suffered a 45 minute power outage, which dampened the experience a little, but we did like the cabin overall.

Excellent Property

The house appeared exactly as pictured. It was a very nice house with more then enough space to accommodate our group of 6 adults, 2 teens and 2 kids comfortably. The outdoor area is also very spacious, plenty of room to park multiple cars, have a fire and play outside. The little hiking trails on the property were definitely a nice touch. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed as we cooked a few of our meals there. The property is close to the downtown Munising, Pictured Rock and many beaches The owners were very friendly, informative and accommodating before and during our stay.

The cabin is wonderful. It was very clean and very nice. Really two separate sections, the master bedroom and bath with the main house and a second section with two additional bedrooms. Main bath for the additional bedrooms was nice sized. Master bath is a bit small, but adequate. No dishwasher or laundry, but that was not really an issue. Just something to make note of if staying for long.Hosts are amazing. Very welcoming. We had some questions leading up to our stay and their communication was quick. They were very easy to work with. Because of a family emergency, we arrived a day later than expected. Informed them and we were welcomed when we arrived. Property is beautiful will a lot of acreage and trails. Each cabin has a fire pit and chairs. Really nice front porch on our cabin with a table and chairs for a cup of coffee in the morning. Cabin is nicely situated, close to Munising and Pictured Rocks both hiking and cruises. Not far from Manistique.We will definitely come back.

This cabin was amazing! It was perfect for our family of 10. Beds were comfortable, good size kitchen with lots of everyday items already stocked. Nice walking paths if the property and the kids caught fish in the lake. Easy to find and less than 20 minutes to Munising.

Great Rental!

We met with family for an end of summer vacation (ages 8-75) and really loved our stay. The house was incredible - clean, spacious, well appointed, and great location. We could walk on the trails right from the back yard, enjoy a bonfire, and use the house as a comfortable landing spot between trips into town and other excursions. Everyone in the family loved it. Management was nearby, friendly, and very responsive. We are already thinking about our next reservation here!
