Welcome to Changes in Attitudes on Folly Beach! This 3 bedroom/ 1 bath property has just been renovated and is perfect for the family beach retreat or short weekend getaway. Home has spacious screened in porch for outdoor living options. The property is located on the ground floor of duplex allowing easy access with no stairs. The owners turned this classic Folly cottage into a quaint rental destination.

The open floor plan includes flat-screen TV, kitchen, and dining area. The kitchen has updated appliances, granite countertops and is fully stocked with the necessities to cook and serve family meals.

The bedrooms all have new bedding and high-end linens. Two of the bedrooms encompass a queen bed while the third bedroom is perfect for the kids with a bunk bed setup. The shared bathroom has just been remodeled and has a lovely tile walk-in shower. Home is only a 3-5 minute to the beach and to Center Street where you can experience all that Folly has to offer.

Home is only a short walk to the beach and Center Street where you can experience all the local Folly Beach shops, restaurants, live music, the 2nd longest fishing pier on the east coast, and more!

Changes In Attitudes has WIFI and flat-screen TV's in the bedrooms with cable. Gas grill is provided for grilling options. No dishwasher or washer/dryer in property. Home is strictly non-smoking. Parking is shared with any guests staying in the upstairs portion of the duplex. Entry, screen porch, and all indoor areas are completely private. Please contact us with any questions. **HOUSE SUPPLIES**
This property is managed by a property management group. We provide a complimentary starter amenity kit to get you settled. Guests are responsible for replenishing supplies as needed during their stay.
Two rolls of paper towels, 1 sponge, 1 dishwashing liquid, 3 trash bags, 3 dishwasher tabs, and 2 kitchen towels in the kitchen. Each bathroom will have 2 toilet paper rolls and at least 1 bar of soap. Full bathrooms additionally include kits with travel size products: 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 lotion bottle, and 2 makeup wipes.

Funky little Folly place. Very cute, Small for a 3-bedroom but priced accordingly. AMAZING location - you'll feel like a local! Would stay here again.

Overall, the location of the property was the best part- easily within walking distance to the local restaurants, shops, bars, and the beach. The property itself was exactly as described.

This was a great stay! Right next to Berts, right next to a public beach access path, and just the perfect place to stay!

great little place with a great location

This little place is convenient to the beach and the main drag of FB. Newly renovated it, provided everything our family of five wanted for our stay for the price offered. Clean.

Perfect beach house

Excellent set-up

The house was better than expected. It was bigger and nicer than I expected from the pictures. It was very clean and comfortable. I would certainly return and stay again.

Ugh- where to begin. My biggest issue was that the description of this property was misleading. It shows a two story house advertising stairs to access 2nd floor. We had access to bottom floor only and we were tripping over each other. No dishwasher, washing machine , bathroom exhaust fan, kitchen cabinet space. The bed rooms were small. Beds pushed up to side of wall. One person needs to crawl out of the bed in middle of night to use bathroom. And try not to trip over the suitcase you are living out of. Bc of lack of dressers. The house and front porch were NOT as pictured. It was a bit startling pulling up to it and made me immediately search for the listing from car. The furniture on porch rusty, cushions dirty. The inside did look nice and was as pictured but it’s deceiving- bc its so dang small . We just felt very cramped. The floors were not clean. They looked clean but our feet were black- that really made me mad. Not sure what the 125 pet fee is for -clearly they are not washing the floors when cleaning . Those floors should be bleached, period! I did appreciate the proximity to the beach and restaurants. We otherwise really enjoyed our trip. If you are a college student wanting a getaway with some buddies and have no need for cooking - I say go for it. Family of four or more NOT ideal. Just be honest and update your listing with accurate photos, and square footage to you attract the right kind of guests- thank you

Needed to be cleaned better

The location was good close to the beach but the cleaning needs to be improved. Took a shower when I got there got out of shower to walk to living room and bottom of my feet was black that fast. Cob webs everywhere

The property was ok until the sewer backed up

The location was great and initially we were very excited. They were having sewer issues which we were not told about initially. Once it rained the yard, our stuff , us covered in unpleasantness --- not such a great experience , especially since the pump wasn't working and they knew of the potential problem. Property management found us another place to stay, which was great. Much farther away from the beach and the fun of Folly -- not compensated for anything. I understand things can go wrong but ......

We were really happy with this rental! Location is as amazing. We loved being so close to the beach and the restaurants/shops. It was very clean and had plenty of towels and toiletries to get us started. The yard was perfect to let the dogs out and the screened in front porch was really helpful to get ready to head to the beach as well as clean off when we returned. We would have liked a place to spray off in the front. The kids and dogs loved the house as well. The host was great with communication and we hope to be back in the future!

Overall exactly what we expected. Clean and comfortable. Backyards have so much potential other than grass. Didn’t use the grill but maybe next time. Easy access to town and beach.

Great Location, Good for 3 or less People, not luxurious, no amenities.

This place is way too small for a family of 5 unless the kids are little. The pictures make it look a lot bigger than it is. The house will sleep six, but there is only seating for 4 on the porch, at the dining table and only 2 in the living room. Luxury bedding at stated in the VRBO description....not really. The fishing pier....under construction, that should be updated on the VRBO website also. Looks like it has been underway for a long time and doesn't look close to being finished. The road in front of the house also has a lot of construction going on and it is a very busy street with constant car and foot traffic so not really a peaceful place to relax. The porch is pretty dirty and the furniture is not comfortable. I know it's difficult to keep it clean with all the sand blowing, but the walls have dirty marks all over them and the place looks like it needs a good hose down. Would not recommend for people over 6 feet, my husband and 2 sons had to watch their heads so as not to hit the fans, the ceilings are pretty low. For our family with 3 large teenagers this house was too small. It was all about the location which was really great. Easy walk to the shopping area and to the beach. I would call it adequate, but I wouldn't recommend staying here with more than 3 adults or teenagers.

Quick Folly Trip

Rental agency was fantastic to work with after our original reservations fell through due to unforeseen circumstances. Could not recommend this location and agency any stronger. We will return!
