Get away from it all to this darling rustic cabin. It is secluded and peaceful, yet only 7 miles to downtown Brevard. It has 2 roomy porches to relax on, and long range mountain views in the winter, and a treehouse feel in the summer. Inside there is wide plank pine flooring, hammer beams, and laurel handrailing.

Wonderful Winter Retreat

This is a classic mountain cabin located in the peaceful setting of Brevard, NC. My wife and I have stayed here (and the sister cabin) several times and at different times of the year. All visits have been spectacular retreats, and the home offers plenty of space and comfort. We've already booked our next stay. Highly recommend it!

Quiet stay

Wonderful cabin and everything was as described. Plenty of supplies for our weekend and tons of towels which was nice to not have to wash mid stay. We woke up to deer in the front yard on our last morning. The fireplace and back porch were our favorite spots to relax. Easy access to property even after dark.

Wonderful Return

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stays at both Laurel and Chestnut Haven. Nestled in a quiet and secluded nook in the Brevard area, both cabins offer great comfort and all the amenities for a wonderful getaway. We highly recommend both properties and look forward to a return visit.

What a wonderful refuge!

What a peaceful get-away in the mountains! My son and I enjoyed every minute of it. The cabin is so cute and adorable! Had a lovely time!

Short visit to Brevard and Cedar Rock

We loved the cabin! Clean home, well-stocked kitchen and beautiful deck to sit on. Drinking coffee on deck and sitting in cushioned rocking chairs was a joy. The beds were also cozy and very comfortable. Brevard is a charming town.

We had a great stay at the cabin!

The cabin was perfect for us and our two dogs. We had a blast hiking and just relaxing. This was our second stay at this cabin. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

My two adult daughters and I loved this great little cabin. We sat on the deck and chatted it was so peaceful. We played games and relaxed. We all want to come back again.

Peaceful Retreat

Very cozy cabin. Interior furnishings and decor added to the cabin vibe first encountered when you drive up. Lots of porch amenities provides outside time comfort. My dog and I had a great stay and enjoyed exploring the area.

Awesome Mountain Getaway

We had a fantastic Mountain getaway weekend! We enjoyed the Mountain Song Festival during the day and loved returning to Jessica’s cozy cabin every evening to relax on the back deck!

Great Weekend Getaway!

Fantastic cabin. Stayed 3 comfortable nights. Jessica, the host was very communicative and helpful. The property location is close to Brevard and the waterfalls of DuPont Forest. Definitely will stay there again next year.

Great Hideaway

Everything needed for a wonderful winter stay. One day of our visit was freezing drizzle so it was a great day to spend in our pj's and the fire blazing. Beautiful waterfalls for daily trips.

Such a peaceful home!

We so enjoyed our time here at Laurel Haven. It is a private, quiet cabin in the woods, yet close to town. I would highly recommend this home to anybody who needs a peaceful getaway.

Wonderful property! The host couldn’t have been more accommodating. The cabin is beautiful, exceptionally clean and well organized. Peaceful location. We loved the porch! Hope to return!

I am a mother of 2 children, wife to an amazing creative husband, who help build this beautiful cabin. I also manage other VRBO's in this county. We love to hike and be in God's creation. We live about 5 minutes down the road:)

My mother and father in law used to own the property and rent it out as well. They sold the property September 2021, which gave me the opportunity to manage this home that has lots of memories in it.
