The house was beautiful. Built with such craftsmanship! It was clean, close to the beach, but private. Felt like your own piece of paradise. Thank you, Jim and Paula. And thank you to Karla who was very helpful during our stay.

Beautiful house, cozy and very private. The screened in back porch is a great place to relax after a few hours on the beach!

The photos and description were exactly as described. The host was extremely inviting, willing to communicate beforehand, and helped us in making the most of our stay. The house was clean, kitchen well stocked and we had a great time. Thank you! We look forward to returning.

Amazing home. The peaceful feeling you get while in the cottage is amazing. So much thought into decorating! My ONLY complaint is the beds, they are small and in need of a mattress upgrade. We loved having our own private beach, a short drive from the cottage. The island was exciting to explore and the weather was perfect. The outdoor shower was great to have coming from the beach. Highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to return

Great house and great hosts. Daufuskie is mystical especially this time of year when you can go an entire day without seeing anyone.

Firstly, Karla, the property manager, was absolutely terrific. From the minute I unlocked the door and stepped inside this dreamy cottage, I felt like I could live the rest of my life there. Daufuskie Island itself is magical and after exploring each day I would come "home", cook dinner in the fabulous kitchen, then relax with a book on the hanging bed on the screen porch. My stay was perfect in every way. I hesitated giving such a glowing review because I hope the cottage will be available for me next year for another blissful week of solitude and quiet. 5 stars all around.

Great place to stay

We enjoyed the peace and quiet. The home is lovely and clean. Property manager is responsive and great to work with. This was our second stay and hope to return again someday!

Wonderful home at a wonderful location

Fell in love with the home as soon as we walked in. The house is just as described and the location is perfect - quiet and relaxing. Wish we had been able to stay longer.

Beautiful and charming

We had a wonderful stay at in the cottage on Daufuskie. The home was clean and very charming. We loved the location - very quiet and secluded, with such close proximity to the beach. A very unique property and great hosts!

Ideal getaway

Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed a great weekend on Daufuskie. The house was very comfortable and property manager was frequently in touch with us. We would stay at this location again for sure.

First trip to Daufuskie

Everything about the house was great for our 4-night stay. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of Daufuskie and plan to return to explore more of the island. Karla was a big help in lining up the ferry, cart rental and knowing how to get around to a couple of restaurants. Being so close to the beach was a huge plus. I highly recommend this house to others!

wonderful home, great location

For our first trip to the island this place was perfect! House was well kept, beautifully decorated and close to beach. Definitely rent a golf cart to get around. House is secluded. Was a joy to stay there and we will definitely be back.

Cute cottage
