Just Awesome! Great house, great location and great hosts! Terri answered all my questions and I did have a lot since we had never been to Dufuskie Island. Most everything you need is there. Just didn't want to come back home. Check out this place as you will not be disappointed! Thanks for everything! Until next time....

The property was perfect! Very well-appointed and extremely clean, with cleanliness being a priority of ours! The decor was beautiful and the location and proximity to the beach is ideal! We loved sitting on the screen porch in the early morning and evenings—a perfect spot to relax and look out at the ocean! Additionally, the hostess is excellent and responsive to any planning and other questions. This VRBO is wonderful and we will rent again if on the Island!

Perhaps the place we have ever stayed. Loved the views and access to the island and beach. The hosts were amazing also and were ready to answer questions in just a few seconds.We will be back!!!

Don't look further! Book The Captain's Choice!! Perfect for sightseeing, steps from the beach. The space is comfortably luxurious. Talking w the owner Terri was delightful and easy. Having the community pool is so great, not crowded, beautifully kept. We loved the Island so much . It is truly magical. It's way more than a beach vacation! It is a discovery! We will be back and always stay with Terri if she'll have us!

The Captain's Choice was an amazing place to stay! We stayed in with our 2 children, ages 8 and 10. It has a great view, is close to the amazing beach and is thoughtfully stocked with everything! The kitchen had everything we needed and the shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathrooms definitely saved me from having to be pack my ours. There are beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys. The beach is a treasure, we saw so many neat things and the kids were never bored. They could explore for hours! Definitely pack light and just go with the flow. We had an amazing stay and have already been looking at when we can return.

This rental felt like home and made a perfect family getaway. It was stocked with all of our home comforts and made traveling with kids so simple. Terri was very responsive and helpful with questions I had about the space and island. Every bit of the home was perfect, we’ll be back!

This was my 3rd time staying at The Captain's Choice. The villa is lovely. It is always clean, cozy and stocked with everything we need! Terri always communicates well. The check-in process is super easy. Daufuskie is such a special place. Cannot recommend the Island and The Captain's Choice enough!

Great island getaway property! Beautifully appointed decor. 2 bedroom ensuite condo. Each suite had a bath, mini frig, tons of storage. The king suite had a shower and jacuzzi tub. The suites were separated by a large kitchen, dining, living area with expansive views of the water. This layout provides nice privacy. The porch was also fabulous with comfortable furniture and the same spectacular views. Great for a family or 2 couples.

Great spot!

We enjoyed a four day stay at this ocean front spot. The owners were incredibly responsive and accommodating. The location is great, and the house was spotless with great amenities. Will definitely stay there again.

Daufuskie Island is absolutely beautiful and peaceful! Captian's Cove was the perfect place to stay and the views were just amazing!

Our trip was excellent. Despite some rain, we had plenty to enjoy and discover. The home was beautiful and well maintained. The owners were very communicative and helpful. The short walk to the beach was perfect. We will be back!

Another great stay at The Captain’s Choice!

This was our second time staying at The Captain’s Choice and we definitely plan to return! The house is very accommodating, the front porch facing the ocean is wonderful and the golf cart makes getting around the island the perfect adventure!

Relaxing family getaway

We had a great stay here (myself, my wife, 12 year old daughter and 10 year old son). This was a great location, and the villa was very nice. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed exploring the island and eating at the various restaurants. The hosts were kind very good at communicating through VRBO. Highly recommend.

Daufuski Island Stay

The villa was beautiful. The screened in front porch was wonderful with a great view of ocean. Great location. Melrose pool was great.
