Thanks for viewing our listing; one of many properties professionally managed by JonBie Maisons on Daufuskie Island.

First thing to note when planning a trip to Daufuskie Island is there is NO Bridge. To reach our island you must book a ferry, water taxi or come by your own boat. Once on the island you’ll need grounds transport from your arrival dock to your JonBie Maisons vacation home. JonBie Maisons has options listed for both ferry/water taxi and transport providers and will be happy to make recommendations based on your travel arrangements.

We’re excited to host you so please check out the specifics of our home below.

The Friends retreat is perfectly situated oceanfront with beautiful sunrise views across the Atlantic. 2 Bedrooms both with private baths, private balcony and King Beds. This cottage is ideal for those craving respite from the hustle & bustle of the mainland. Enjoy the ocean just steps from your porch and dine in or alfresco while soaking up the ocean views and breezes. Relax and let the world slip away......

The interior of the cottage is open and spacious living/dining/kitchen area that is great for family and friend time. The cottage includes flat screen TVs and WIFI is Free during your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with full size stainless steel appliances, garbage disposal, dishwasher, and a stocked Coffee/Tea Bar, making meal preparation easy for you and your family throughout your stay - even Holidays!

A laundry room with full size washer and dryer is also available to make island life more convenient and comfortable.

A golf cart is also included with your booking. Information for reserving additional carts will be provided at booking GAS CARTS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED AT ALL JONBIE COTTAGES & VILLAS and Carts are NOT to be used for hauling luggage, groceries, coolers, etc.

Information on transportation to and from the island along with getting groceries and activities will be provided with your rental.

We spent a long weekend visiting Daufuski Island and this home is perfect! We were traveling with our adult children and labs (Hank & Honey) and the set up was perfect with two king beds and private bathroom in each room. It was well-appointed with everything we needed for the weekend from supplies to beach chairs and toys. The beds were comfortable and home had plenty of space. The beach is literally just steps from the home and my goodness, the views are breathtaking! Communication from check in to resolving issues was on point with quick response and resolution! We couldn't ask for anything more and we can't wait to visit again.

The location and beach access was fantastic! And the addition of the golf cart was great for getting around the island. Everything was neat on arrival. I do wish I had known it was a duplex as we had loud neighbors up late on our final 2 nights and we could clearly hear their music & words. I also would love to have access to basic kitchen staples (salt, pepper, olive oil or spray) to make cooking an option - with no grocery store on the island we couldn't buy them there and I didn't consider packing a salt & pepper shaker.

Amazing right to the beach

We stayed here in the off-season and it was amazing, directly out the door to the beach and it felt almost like our own private island. We loved it!

Wonderful location and home

One of the best stays. A beautiful home in the pine trees with the beach as our backyard. The hosts took care of our very few needs so quickly it was amazing.

Everything about our stay was great. We loved everything about the island. The cottage was absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t ask for a more gorgeous weekend to celebrate our anniversary.

Great Stay!

This island is like taking a step back in time. It is quiet and makes you feel as though you are on a private beach. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our house was clean and everything was easy to navigate. The ferry and land transportation were easy to navigate (we used island head).We will definitely be back!

We had a fabulous time.The property was great. The restaurants were all good. Our favoriite was the Melrose Oyster House. The people there were so nice. From the moment we boarded the ferryuntil we boarded for return..
