Beautiful home 3BR/2.5B in calm slough. Great location for Auburn games!

ONLY 40 MINUTES TO AUBURN UNIVERSITY!!
Beautiful 3BR 2.5 bath that sleeps 8-10. Perfect home for weekend getaways or just a short drive for Auburn football games. The top floor is an open floor plan with a modern kitchen and stainless steel appliances that overlooks the living area and a 80”" TV. There is a large balcony that overlooks the lake with comfortable seating. The lower level features 3 bedrooms (1 King Master Suite, 1 bunk room with 4 twin beds, and 1 Queen room with another covered balcony looking over the lake. This is a quiet slew that's great for swimming or sitting outside and reading a book. Newly renovated dock with boat tie ups. Slew opens up to a large area that's great for skiing and tubing. We also have access to a community park with a boat ramp, pavilion and docks (not to be used overnight) that is an easy walk to.
We will be adding a $15 boat launch fee due to our HOA not allowing renters access and needing a local resident to unlock the gate for guests. If you do not want to pay this fee there is a free public boat launch about 10 minutes from our house that I can give you directions to.

DISCLAIMER: Lake Martin water levels start to go down after Labor Day each year and rise again around April. Please take note of this when booking for this time of year. We CAN NOT guarantee water during the Fall/Winter months.

Our house is an easy 10-15 minute boat ride to Chucks Pizza or Chimney Rock.

We offer a grill, outside seating, cable TV with smart TV's in 2 bedrooms. Local resident ready to assist when needed.

8 nights on Lake Martin

We had a wonderful stay at this place. The home is beautiful and has a great view over a calm slough of Lake Martin. Communication with the owner was easy and fast and check-in went very smoothly. I highly recommend this place for a nice stay on the lake.

Perfect spot for a get away

We rented a boat from momentum marina this place wasn’t far from there at all. Boat dock was easy to get to and central to everything(chimney rock,chucks pizza and tubing areas). House was comfortable for all 8 of us. Host was very responsive and helpful. Will gladly rent again!

Perfect!

This location was perfect for our family get together for two weeks. It was so nice to be able to walk out to the boat every day and pretty much have the lake to ourselves as we lucked out with kids returning to school the week we got there. Would highly recommend and the host was super responsive!

Excellent Vacation

The house was excellent and in a quiet area of the lake. The neighbors were all very nice as well as the location on the lake. We rented a boat from the Ridge Marina and brought a jetski that we launched from the community boat ramp that was a minute drive from the house. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and will definitely book with Taylor again!

Great Lake House

Wonderful property and very well appointed home. Owner very nice and helpful in a timely manner. We had a wonderful time and truly feel this home was perfect for our family gathering. Kitchen was amazing. The family, dining and kitchen area ideal with a wonderful spacious deck.

Peaceful getaway

Great location, chimney rock is around the corner and there are plenty of restaurants within 15-20 minutes. House is spacious and up to date. We brought our boat so the private boat launch was a big plus for our family. We’ll be back again.

Family Vacay on the Bayou!

I just want to thank you for a wonderful week on Lake Martin. Your house was beautiful and perfect for our family. The views were lovely from the porch! We enjoyed boating and floating on the lake and fishing off the pier; it was so relaxing! We hit up some of the hot spots while on the water - Chimney Rock, Goat Island, The Social, Bluff's, and Chuck’s Pizza. We also played a round of golf, and the scenery was awesome! Thank you for sharing your great suggestions and your lovely home with us!

Auburn Football

My family rented this home for the weekend to relax and attend Auburn football game. Home had plenty of room for 6 guests and awesome views. Only 40 minute drive to game. We will be coming back again!

Great getaway

My wife and I stayed here for a Labor Day weekend. We had a nice stay. The house is in a quiet area with minimal boat traffic. We tried renting a boat but none were available. The owners are nice and responsive. Our only issue was there was no propane for the grill, but we improvised. The canoe and rafts were nice and relaxing. Thank you for a nice weekend!

Great house and location

We had a great stay at this house for Memorial Day weekend. It fit our needs perfectly. Nice big fridge and freezer for all our food. The location is convenient for a boat ride to Chuck’s pizza and chimney rock. Niffer’s was another good restaurant close by. An ice cream boat came by one night which was fun. We launched our boat at the neighborhood ramp but chose to keep our trailer at a different location than the house. The driveway was a little too intimidating for us to try to take the boat trailer down it, but we had no issues going down it with our cars. Overall it was the perfect place for our vacation.

Perfect hurrication spot

As hurricane Michael raged towards home we had to evacuate PCB. We had pets and all of the hotels were full for hours out. I found this lovely home on Home a Away and Taylor was incredibly kind. The views are amazing! We were all so comfortable. The house is very clean. We had a wonderful retreat in the middle of chaos. We hope to visit again for fun! I would love to rent a boat and enjoy the water.

Great Lake House.

My Wife & I stayed with another couple, brought the jet skis and enjoyed a great weekend on the lake. Great location, great views from the store home. Owners were very easy to communicate with and we really enjoyed the stay. If we had any issues, would've just been the very steep driveway with the jet skis, mostly just an issues with the rain. The driveway was the only inconvenience. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Lake Martin was great and I just say this house was so much closer to some good food than the last time we stay at the Lake. That's a huge plus!

Amazing week!

We met our friends and their children for a week vacation at Lake Martin. This house was perfect for the two families with small kids and dogs. The weather was not on our side though and we had a lot of thunderstorms, but luckily the house was set up great for play and relaxing on the covered porch. Seriously the porch was a lifesaver. On the days we could swim, the cove was perfect for small kids. We couldn’t have asked for a better swim area. It was quiet and just the right depth for the kids. They could touch around the edge and then actually swim without much distraction from neighbors or boats. We only left the house for groceries and the kitchen was perfectly stocked for cooking at home all week. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend this house.

Awesome week at the lake!

We could not have asked for anything more from this beautiful home! The location is wonderful and very quiet. We spent the first day just swimming and canoeing around the slew and the kids had a blast on the lily pad provided at the house. We rented a pontoon boat for the next few days and had a blast exploring the lake. The place is so close to Chimney Rock and a lovely beach area and not far from Goat Island either! We also ventured out to Niffer's for dinner one night and did the Cherokee Ridge Alpine hiking trail, both also great and not far. The layout of the home is perfect for accommodating two families. The porch upstairs is like another living room and so comfortable with the ceiling fans. It was so wonderful that this property allows dogs. We drove cross-country from Colorado and it was a nice treat to be able to have our dog with us on vacation. Owners very easy to communicate with as well. Really could not have asked for anything better!

Awesome week

Property was awesome. We enjoyed it and had a blast. The only thing negative I have is the driveway will not accommodate a large boat. I have a 24 foot boat and there was no way that it would’ve fit down the curvy steep driveway. Luckily I live close and just took my trailer home after unloading the boat. I do exommend this place as we had a blast that week.

This house is more than just beautiful and comfortable. It has everything you need from doggy bags to a variety of cooking appliances. The gorgeous setting made for sitting on the two decks extra special. Plus, the art work in the house is beautiful!! We will be back.

Have a wonderful time, the house is absolutely gorgeous. We loved the view of the lake from the dock and balconies. It was quite which was great for the football weekend!!!
