Great stay for us first timers in Outerbanks!
First off, Gary is a phenomenal host who made us feel very welcomed and was great at keeping in contact to meet any needs or answer any questions. I had messaged Gary about the empty propane tank for the grill,and if it is the guests’ responsibility to get it refilled, which was no big deal. Gary did respond back to let me know where to locate the filled ones, but my phone had died and I didn’t read it in time, which was my fault. He offered to reimburse me and did. I appreciate how attentive he is.
The house was great! It was very clean, had a comfortable and cozy living room and kitchen area for our group to come together, but also is spacious and offered so many other areas for people to just hang out separately or kids to play.
If you have toddlers, this is the place to stay. House had enough board games and toys that my 2 year old loved playing with where I didn’t even need to bring any of his toys from home, which was practically half of my suitcase. The beach chairs, beach toys, and wagon were such an added bonus, especially since sometimes that can be forgotten/take too much room.
All the wives of our group definitely appreciated the number of bathrooms, especially with many rooms having their own private one, as well as the massive fridge.
If we plan to visit again, we definitely have a go to place. You can tell they take care of their property and make sure you are taken care of as well.
