Loved the place and would like to visit again. It was a great base for exploring Acadia and seashore beauty. I could not imagine finding a better host.

We had a great time! James is a great host. Good location, close to Bar Harbor & Acadia. Fall colors were great, hiking in Acadia was fantastic, AND we had a spectacular day with Bar Harbor Whale Watch!

We traveled for a girls trip. We loved the space and location. The delicious blueberry pie waiting for us in the fridge was the cherry on top! Place was stocked with essential staples and we enjoyed our time for the week. We fell in love with the area as well as Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. Core memories made. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful! James was a fantastic host, avalible as needed, very friendly, and helpful! The apartment was clean and well kept, as well as well stocked with anything we could need! We would happily stay here again!

We loved staying at the Hidden Gem as a home base for exploring the area. We enjoyed that it was off the beaten path and was spacious and clean. The washing machine was a huge plus in the middle of our trip, and we were prepared with quarters and a travel detergent. James was super helpful and provided some great local suggestions.

James was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable.During our stay, we experienced our very first nor’easter which altered our travel plans home. James went out of his way to call and check in and make sure we had everything we needed. That level of thoughtfulness and care really meant a lot to us.As if that wasn’t enough, James surprised us with a homemade blueberry pie, and it was absolutely incredible! It was such a thoughtful and delicious touch that made our stay even more special.We couldn’t have asked for a better host. James truly made us feel at home, and we would absolutely recommend staying with him. We would happily stay here again!

Awesome 2 bedroom with everything you need close to Acadia and Bar Harbor. James the owner was very helpful and informative. We will for sure stay here again for our next trip to Maine.

We so appreciated James and his in person greeting as we arrived and his great recommendations for places to eat and to visit in area and in Acadia. Very clean, cozy and comfortable apartment! Kitchen was beautiful and well stocked. King bed was very comfortable. A wonderful place to call home away from home!
