Girls weekend. The location was close to many attractions and we felt very safe. John and Frank were so kind and welcoming. There was plenty of parking and the beds and furniture were comfy. Our only regret is we did not book a longer trip to explore the trails in the neighborhood and enjoy the beautiful outdoor patio.

Wonderful location and very spacious unit. Hosts were so easy to communicate with and very thorough in their overview of the space the day of check in. Wonderful experience overall!

This is the second time I have stayed at this great place. Very quiet neighborhood tucked away in the woods. Very spacious, clean and reasonably priced. I will always stay there if it’s available when I’m in the area.

Great location-perfect for our needs! We like to go rock hunting and found several spots to look that were very near this property! Clean and spacious and includes a laundry room. The A/C was working very well! We liked using the bbq and pic-nic table in the beautiful back yard. The hosts even offered fresh herbs from their garden for our steaks. Over all great location close to Saugatuck and Douglas. Thanks John & Frank!

This was a perfect place to stay for our vacation! The location was peaceful and near to all the places we wanted to visit. At the end of the day it was great to come back to a clean and comfortable apartment that felt like home! Thank you to our hosts for their respectful attention to all our needs!

Frank and John were terrific hosts, helpful and accommodating. Frank brought us two great Michigan peaches to enjoy. The Garden Apartment is very spacious and clean. Very modern appliances in a large kitchen area. TV offers a wide range of programing.The town of Fennville with its attractions is literally 10 minutes away.Our only caveat for older or folks with physical limitations is that there are 12 steps to the apartment.All in all we had a very pleasant stay.

We absolutely loved our stay! The location great. The private trails and peaceful property were perfect. The space was beautiful, spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Spacious, comfortable apartment with separate entrance as part of a home in a beautiful wooded area not far from the beach on Lake Michigan. Parking right at the front door for easy accessibility to the apartment. We would have loved to enjoy the walking trails on the neighborhood property if not for the rain on our last day. Easy and clear communication with our hosts, as well as easy check-in as described at the VRBO site. Convenient location for accessing restaurants and events in Douglas and Saugatuck. We enjoyed our stay and would book again in the future!

The property is pet friendly, although I did not bring my dog. The hosts are super nice, thoughtful and very welcoming.Laundry room on premises is very convenient.

If traveling with a large, 10 year old dog you may be disappointed. First of all this is a basement with only one way in or out and 12 steps up and down. Beach access is approximately 1/3rd of a mile, but not dog friendly. In fact the closest dog friendly is Douglas Park approximately 14 miles. Great Beach but be ready to take on 90 steps.The basement was very nice and comfortable and our hosts Frank and John were the same.Patio needs work. Not as nice as the pics.

Enjoyed our stay.

Quiet location off the beaten path, but close to everything from beaches to wineries. Property owners, cleanliness, and check in were excellent.

We had a wonderful stay for a girls’ weekend getaway! Our hosts were very welcoming. The place was immaculate and near a lot of local attractions. Be sure to enjoy the outdoor seating area. The grounds are beautiful!

Great place to stay especially if you love the beach!

This clean, spacious, comfortable lodging had walkable access to a great stretch of Lake Michigan’s beach. The neighborhood was surrounded by beautiful woods. Our stay was relaxing and memorable.
