We adhere to strict cleaning and disinfecting requirements in accordance with CDC guidelines. All towels and sheets are 100% cotton and washed in hot water with bleach and dried on high heat... Very clean and very comfortable, fresh Self check-in is super easy.

Each of our three suites can enjoy their large private outdoor patio facing the beautiful backyard and located less than one block from a general convenience store which stocks numerous amenities, snacks and convenience items.

The Sun Shine Suite offers two generous bed rooms with comfortable hand made queen-size pine beds, plus a comfortable pull-out sofa in the living room.

Beautiful, immaculate, well equipped cottage. Gorgeous art by the artist with a gallery downtown, hung with love and care. Thoughtful and clear signage. Not a generic rental, a warm and inviting place to enjoy the spectacular surroundings. Kind and attentive hosts.

We absolutely loved this property for our family of four. It was a perfect size for us, cozy and impeccably clean! The location was perfect, just a couple minute drive to downtown Saugatuck and very easy to go North if heading up to Holland. Super easy to check in and check out. We would absolutely stay here again!

My husband and I got married just down the road from the cottage suites so this was a perfect location to have our family stay. We rented all three to fit everyone. The suites were gorgeous, super clean and exactly what we needed for a wedding weekend away! The entire process was very straight forward: from booking, to checking in and checking out. The cottage was the cleanest vrbo we have ever stayed at. It was well stocked and the communication with the host was excellent. Our teenagers loved the games in the basement. The walking trail directly across from the property was great to have since it was difficult to find a parking spot in downtown Saugatuck - it was a flat, paved trail. Great location as it was close to the highway, but didn’t feel like it. Quick walk downtown - about 20 minutes, a nice coffee shop that was a few minutes walk and right down the street from the Saugatuck dune rides.

The property was as described and very clean. It was easy to find and had nice parking. The beds were comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was really good. Walking into town was easy with the path located across the street. The unit had many picnic tables to sit at. There is a Dollar General and gas station within easy walking distance. Communication was great. Check in was easy. Everything you would need was provided. Will definitely stay again when visiting Saugatuck.

This home was super clean, had everything we needed, directions and locations of items were marked well, and the host was very prompt in responding. The beds were comfortable and we loved being able to use the grill outside for cooking. Had our stay been a bit warmer in the evenings, we probably would have used the nice fire pit area as well in the well kept back yard.

A great place to stay. Very clean with all needed accommodations. Nicely decorated inside and beautiful backyard landscaping. Really appreciated how comfortable the beds were, we have been in too many rentals with beds that kill your back and ruin your vacation due to poor sleep, not here though. Great having a garage for our bikes . Also enjoyed the pool table in the evening and other the games to pass the time. Very conveniently located a mile from downtown Saugatuck and a short ride to Holland or South Haven. All 3 towns are fantastic with beautiful downtown areas , great shopping, dining and fantastic beach parks. John is a great host with excellent communications. A few suggestions ( not complaints) for convenience would be a laundry basket to carry clothes to the downstairs washer and dryer, also a few more dish towels and dish rags, one just isn’t enough even with a dishwasher. May also suggest turning the water heater down a little bit, the water is so hot you have to be very careful not to burn yourself, must turn on the cold water first and adjust the hot with it. An unusual suggestion as most rentals people complain the water doesn’t get hot enough.Overall though this cottage is a no brainer 5 stars easy. Highly recommend!!!!

A great location with nice amenities inside and out. Fun games in basement!Well equipped kitchen! Our second time staying here & fits all our needs.Only one possible upgrade would be a regular shower head or one with both stationary & hand held. The hand held is quite high and can get caught on the shower door if pushed in instead of out.This is a well taken care of property!

It was very well furnished and clean with all the little details. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots and pans, utensils, a blender, coffee and filters, salt and pepper, saran wrap, soaps, toaster, and even chip clips. They had shampoo, conditioner, a hair dryer, nightlights, etc and signage to answer all questions. Bedding and pillows were comfortable. The couch was a little soft though. Garbage was a trek through the back yard in the rain so an FYI that it is accessible from the road behind us would have been nice to know. To know I could have driven it around would have been helpful. This was just a girls weekend so we didn't utilize all the fun things they had available such as foosball, pool table and games but those would be great family fun. They even had beach chairs! A great location to all Saugatuck has to offer. The only negative is the hvac is extremely loud when it starts and stops. I would definitely stay there again!

Providing visitors with a comfortable stay along with all the conveniences to make this your home away from home is our family’s mission. We have come to love Saugatuck and consider it a magical place with each season bringing something special to enjoy.

For over 30 years our family has enjoyed the magic of Saugatuck from the Sunsets over the beaches, to the many restaurants and art stores, to the vineyards and orchards, to the dune rides, boat rides, kayaking, biking, hiking, just to name a few joys.

We wanted to have an opportunity to share the many joys that Saugatuck and it’s surrounding communities bring to those lucky enough to visit. The Johnson family undertook restoration of this midcentury cottage row structure now known as the “Saugatuck Cottage Suites,” located on the North end of Saugatuck directly across the street from the walking path to downtown Saugatuck.
We took feedback from many friends and family and provided all the conveniences for those with both an active lifestyle as well as those that want to kick back and relax.

Based on feedback we have provided: a secure easy in/out access for people that bring their bikes as each unit has its own attached garage with electric doors; two picnic tables per unit; fully equipped kitchens; strong internet for those of us that need to check in for work or relax and stream some Netflix or check in with Facebook; and convenient walking to restaurants; art stores and down town Saugatuck; as well as two parking spaces per cottage suite so no one has to look for parking when arriving or returning from the beach, vineyards or orchards.
