Apartment 203 at 80 LEX is special. It’s probably not like anything you have at home, but it is exactly the urban-chic feel you seek in Asheville. It is industrial. It is warm. It is creative inspiration.

Apartment 203 at 80 LEX is professionally designed for an ultra-custom feel. We’re talking details like brick feature walls, custom upholstery, locally made mattresses, and a curated collection of antique and new furnishings. Vintage barware. Thickly layered texture, color, and patterns. Funky wallpaper. Handpicked art.

This is where modern meets old world, and it couldn’t be any more Asheville. It’s the perfect complement to your downtown experience.

One Free Designated Off Street Parking Space
When it comes to parking, 80 LEX could just as easily be name Easy Street: parking here is simple! And that’s exactly how it should be, when you’re on vacation.

You don’t need a car to enjoy downtown Asheville (our walk score: 93!), but if you bring one, here are your options: One free off street designated parking space is reserved for this apartment, located a half a block away in a private parking lot.

Additional parking options:
Parking Decks: Both the City of Asheville and Buncombe County operate safe, reliable and inexpensive parking decks. The first hour is free and the full-day rate is just $20, so feel free to leave an extra vehicle overnight in the public parking decks. There are several parking decks within walking distance of 80 LEX on Rankin Ave; we’ll send all the details with your booking confirmation.

On-Street Parking: There are more than 700 on-street metered parking spaces in downtown Asheville. All meters are for short-term parking (two hours or less, as marked), at a cost of $1.50 per hour . On-street metered parking is free on holidays, Sundays, and every day after 6 pm.

Loading Zones: There is one right in front of the building. If you’re arriving via taxi, Uber, or Lyft, feel free to unload in one of Asheville’s dedicated loading zones, limited to 30 minutes (or less, as marked).

Accessing 203 requires climbing one flight of stairs, (22 stairs total). Included in each reservation, is one reserved off street parking space for this apartment only located just one block away. This is an urban setting, in a multi-tenanted building. Usual sights and sound of city living should be expected.

Convenient location to down town restaurants. Place was as pictured. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Kitchen thoughtfully stocked with the standard things but lots of extras such as baggies, aluminum foil, cream, sugar for coffee, etc. Appliances, dishes, cookware modern and new. Communication was fast and thorough. Directions / instructions sent prior to our arrival were very detailed and helpful.

Eclectic Asheville getaway.

This was a great little treasure right in downtown Asheville. Well maintained, well appointed, and perfectly positioned. Parking was about a block away and really convenient. We had a full size truck which fit but a bit tight (thank goodness for backup cameras). Easy access in and out of the building and apartment. Brick walls and reimagined space were really beautifully done. Very conveniently located to restaurants, shops, and bars. Just a few minutes away from local attractions and activities.

Anniversary Fun

All I can say is “Unbelievable”. Literally everything was perfect. We enjoyed having the two ways to enter. One on Lexington and one on Chicken Alley. I will definitely tell our friends and we will definitely be back as well. We never drove anywhere. Everything is in an easy walking distance. And whoever decorated these units were spot on. Gorgeous!

3 Night Stay for concerts at Asville Arena

Perfect location in Old Town area of downtown Ashville. Easy walk or short Lyft to everything you would want to do. Apartment was very clean and just like the photos show. Supplied with just about everything you would need or may have forgotten. Would definitelystay here again.

Great Location!

Location was great and the style of the apartment was everything we wanted. Surprisingly quiet considering its downtown location as well. The one item I would say that needed more clarification was the width of the parking spot assigned to the apartment. This is not the owner’s issue but would have been nice to know that the spot was on the smaller side. I drive a larger truck and had a hard time fitting in the assigned parking spot. Would have just drove my wife’s car instead. Again not a big deal but worth noting if you have a larger vehicle.

Growing up Santa Fe, NM I saw a unique blend of artistic community, endless outdoor opportunities, interesting history, beautiful landscapes, and a diverse mix of cultures.

Though far from Santa Fe and a different climate, I arrived in Asheville in the early 90’s to practice Chinese Medicine and felt some of the same elements at play. Asheville was not well known, but you could feel the energy building and the mixture of art, landscape, environment, history and community all coming together. It reminded me of my ‘early days’ in Santa Fe. One of my closest friends was Andy Brokmeyer, who I told for several years that he needed to come to Asheville, as it was a dynamic and exciting place. We were also avid kayakers, and Asheville has been a Mecca for kayaking since the early days of the sport so I knew I could lure him out with the promise of all the great rivers in the area.

He came out ‘for a visit’ and hasn’t left. That was 16 years ago.
Asheville has grown into the most happening place in the region, far beyond my expectations, and has sustained an authentic, community oriented and dynamic quality. Like my dad used to say about few places, it has ‘cultural energy’.

Though both Andy and I had done some residential real estate investment and development, 80 N Lexington was our first move into the commercial side. It was an old building, greatly in need of repair, and was a bit removed from the core downtown commercial traffic. We scraped together what we could and fixed it up, with an eye towards something special in the future.

Now, many years later, North Lexington Ave is hopping, with restaurants, breweries, bars, tea houses, coffee shops, galleries and wonderful, diverse retail shops right out the door.

And 80 N Lexington has been transformed into a blend of funky, hip, and industrial intertwined with lush, upscale design. A mix of style and comfort that is unique and authentically Asheville.
