Apartment 204 at 80 LEX is special. It’s probably not like anything you have at home, but it is exactly the urban-chic feel you seek in Asheville. It is industrial. It is warm. It is creative inspiration.

Apartment 204 at 80 LEX is professionally designed for an ultra-custom feel. We’re talking details like brick feature walls, custom upholstery, locally made mattresses, and a curated collection of antique and new furnishings. Vintage barware. Thickly layered texture, color, and patterns. Funky wallpaper. Handpicked art.

Easy Parking- one designated off street free parking space in a private parking lot a half a block away

When it comes to parking, 80 LEX could just as easily be name Easy Street: parking here is simple! And that’s exactly how it should be, when you’re on vacation.

You don’t need a car at 80 LEX but if you bring one, you’ll be happy to know that the one standard sized parking space for guests at 204 is easy to find and just a half a block away.


Additional Parking Options:
Parking Decks: Both the City of Asheville and Buncombe County operate safe, reliable and inexpensive parking decks. The first hour is free and the full-day rate is just $20, so feel free to leave your vehicle overnight. There are several parking decks within walking distance of 80 LEX on Rankin Ave; we’ll send all the details with your booking confirmation.

On-Street Parking: There are more than 700 on-street metered parking spaces in downtown Asheville. All meters are for short-term parking (two hours or less, as marked), at a cost of $1.50 per hour. On-street metered parking is free on holidays, Sundays, and every day after 6 pm.

Loading Zones: There is one right in from If you’re arriving via taxi, Uber, or Lyft, feel free to unload in one of Asheville’s dedicated loading zones, limited to 30 minutes (or less, as marked).

Accessing 204 requires climbing one flight of stairs, (22 stairs total). Parking is not provided. This is an urban setting, in a multi-tenanted building. Usual sights and sound of city living should be expected.

Wonderful property, perfect location!

The apartment was beautiful, clean, comfortable and exactly as advertised. Public parking was easy, inexpensive and right across the street. Andrew provided clear checkin information and info about the area, and a lovely bottle of wine to welcome us. I love the location - walking distance to everything- and would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

This condo was perfect for our needs. The unit is thoughtfully designed to maximize space and utility, chicly decorated and spotlessly clean. The location allowed us to do without a car and easily walk (and occasionally uber) everywhere we wanted to go. This was one of the nicest HomeAway locations we have rented. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay for 3 days and definitely will be back as well as recommending to everyone we know, thank you I will rate it 15/10 😄 Clean,feels like we just moved in the new home, high quality appliances and have everything you need to cook including spices, oil even French press for coffee and tea, comfortable bed,well designed apartment, hotel white fluffy towels, great communication,close to everything in downtown ( we walked everywhere except mountain exploration)or short drive I can’t find anything negative or something needs to be changed ( I am well traveled and can be very picky) Thank you!

Gorgeous Industrial Vibe!

This apartment is decorated as if someone currently lives there! Not a single detail was missed in the kitchen or the bathroom! There were lots of special little comforts available to us. The location allows you to never need an Uber or Lyft. Awesome property and super friendly communication with the owner!

Awesome place to stay

Loved everything about this place. Great location in downtown Asheville. Easily walked all over but we rented a car to explore and it came with a parking spot that was easy to access. The place was a great size and had plenty of amenities. It was quiet and peaceful. Communication with the host was great through the app and his response time was quick. I also liked the link to the guide that was provided with all the information needed for the place but also about the area. If you want to stay in downtown Asheville definitely recommend.

Chicken Alley for the win!!

Beautiful, spotless, and comfortable space in a fantastic location. It’s a great area- walking distance to shops, restaurants, and nightlife. The multiple private entrances made it convenient to get in and out of. We rested well in a very cozy bed after being out and about the city. The apartment has everything you need for a weekend getaway. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend it.

Great accommodations in a great location

Cute little condo with everything you needed located to a wide variety of shopping, galleries and restaurants. We found the bed too hard, it's not recommended for side sleepers! The walk uphill from the condo to the parking to get the car is a pain in the cold or rainy weather but we've suffered far worse. We like to move around but would consider staying here again

The property was absolutely stunning and exactly as pictured! We felt very comfortable from the moment we stepped foot inside the building and into the apartment. quiet oasis in downtown Asheville

This unit has a great location and is amazingly quiet for being in downtown Asheville. The unit had everything - and more - that we needed: stocked kitchen, very cozy & comfortable living area (the sofa is SO comfy) and bedroom, extra toiletries in bathroom in case you forget anything (which we did). We loved the skylight in the living room. The unit is very safe & secure, yet easy to get in/out with the key pad vs. physical key. The reserved parking spot is close and easy to get to, but we only used our car to go to the River Arts District and to visit Brevard. (Highly recommend both.) The living room windows open out to Chicken Alley (street level), so we kept the curtains closed most of the time. But the upside of facing the alley is that we were protected from the downtown street noise, and we never heard any neighbors in the building. We will definitely return to this unit - we've stayed at a couple others, and this one is by far the most comfortable and most quiet. Also the management is professional, responsive and communicates all the important information before you need it. They are probably the best management we've ever worked with via vrbo. We cannot wait to return!

Growing up Santa Fe, NM I saw a unique blend of artistic community, endless outdoor opportunities, interesting history, beautiful landscapes, and a diverse mix of cultures.

Though far from Santa Fe and a different climate, I arrived in Asheville in the early 90’s to practice Chinese Medicine and felt some of the same elements at play. Asheville was not well known, but you could feel the energy building and the mixture of art, landscape, environment, history and community all coming together. It reminded me of my ‘early days’ in Santa Fe. One of my closest friends was Andy Brokmeyer, who I told for several years that he needed to come to Asheville, as it was a dynamic and exciting place. We were also avid kayakers, and Asheville has been a Mecca for kayaking since the early days of the sport so I knew I could lure him out with the promise of all the great rivers in the area.

He came out ‘for a visit’ and hasn’t left. That was 16 years ago.
Asheville has grown into the most happening place in the region, far beyond my expectations, and has sustained an authentic, community oriented and dynamic quality. Like my dad used to say about few places, it has ‘cultural energy’.

Though both Andy and I had done some residential real estate investment and development, 80 N Lexington was our first move into the commercial side. It was an old building, greatly in need of repair, and was a bit removed from the core downtown commercial traffic. We scraped together what we could and fixed it up, with an eye towards something special in the future.

Now, many years later, North Lexington Ave is hopping, with restaurants, breweries, bars, tea houses, coffee shops, galleries and wonderful, diverse retail shops right out the door.

And 80 N Lexington has been transformed into a blend of funky, hip, and industrial intertwined with lush, upscale design. A mix of style and comfort that is unique and authentically Asheville.
