Relax in the cozy sitting room or sit on the back porch and enjoythe backyard. Both bedrooms have plush Queen beds and ceiling fans. Each bedroom features two large, private bathrooms with walk-in showers. There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Location: The cottage is nestled on a quiet, safe street that's literally surrounded by historic venues and sites within walking distance. Walk to downtown Franklin, less than one mile away where great shops and restaurants await you. Battlefield Cottage has everything you need for a fun-filled, down-home authentic Franklin experience.
Nearby Attractions: Not only do you have easy access to historic sites and downtown Franklin, but you are close to the Natchez Trace Parkway and many great places to walk or bike. Please let us know if this is your first visit to Franklin or if you are celebrating a special occasion!

Cozy Cottage

The cottage was very cute and cozy. It is beyond pet friendly and the fenced yard is big plus. Loved the two en-suites. Plenty of big fluffy towels and all amenities including blankets and towels for the pups. Nice, quiet location. We enjoyed our stay!

Sweet, Comfortable Cottage

My family and our pups stayed at Deborah’s for three nights, and it was a truly lovely getaway. Deborah is a thoughtful and attentive host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She generously offered an early check-in (over two hours ahead of schedule) and greeted us with wine, cookies, sparkling water, and a beautifully arranged coffee and tea setup. We especially enjoyed the comfortable beds and quiet mornings spent sipping coffee on the screened porch, listening to the birds. Throughout our stay, Deborah checked in just the right amount, available when needed, while fully respecting our privacy. She even offered a late check-out, which we greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!

This is everything I wanted my trip to Franklin to be. This place is located perfectly — near Main Street, close to a large grocery store and other tourist attractions including the Lotz House. Wonderful response from the host and so kind to allow pets. Would definitely stay here again.

Wedding getaway

Nice quiet cul de sac within about a mile walk to downtown Franklin. Very close vicinity to civil war battlefields and museums. Home was perfect for our stay. Property owner is very attentive. If we are ever in Franklin again we would stay here.

Nice home and location

Great location. Clean, cozy and welcoming home. Quiet street. The hostess provided coffee, tea, creamer and bottled water which was appreciated. Comfortable beds. Two full sized bathrooms each with a walk-in shower. Fenced in backyard was perfect for our dog. The space is small but was fine for my husband and I and our 24 pound dog.

Great stay!

Great cottage! Great location! Great host! Great time! This little gem of the house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac near the heart of downtown Franklin. It’s small, but so well appointed. Good beds, walk-in showers, comfortable furniture, a bookshelf filled with great reads. Your host has anticipated all your needs and provided amenities to meet them… from ice and bottled water to quality paper products to poop bags for your pup. Highly recommend Battlefield Cottage. You’ll love it here!

Check in and communication were top notch. The large bathrooms were great. The washer/dryer was a bonus. Great yard for our pup. The location is close to everything. House was clean and well stocked.

Highly recommend

Very impressed especially because dogs are allowed. It was extremely clean & no smell. Secure fence. We took some snacks & wine but EVERYTHING thing we needed was there. Even coffee & tea. It was like living at home. We never even had to go to the grocery store. Week stay. Bird feeder view outside of window & cute bunny’s running around. Even saw a hedgehog!

Perfect Stay

The cottage was just perfect for us and our two little pups. Deborah was an ultimate host, there wasn’t anything we needed, she had extras in the frig, coffee, creamers, flowers and a lovely note to welcome us. First Stay but not the Last

This property has a beautiful retro feel with upgraded conveniences. The layout is perfect with bedrooms behind the comfortable main gathering spaces and separated by the laundry/half bath. The two full baths have luxurious walk-in showers and plenty of room to dress. The fenced in backyard feels private although surrounded by houses. The owner was very helpful and responsive to all questions. We will try and stay here whenever we're in the Nashville, TN area.

Battlefield Cottage stole my heart the first time I saw it. Located on a safe and quiet street close to everything you would want to do in historic Franklin. It has the charm of an older home but the addition of new bathrooms make it super comfy.
