We had a wonderful stay at this Anchorage property. The space was incredibly spacious, with much more room than we were expecting, which made our stay especially comfortable and relaxing. The beds were very comfortable, and we all slept great throughout our visit.The location was absolutely perfect, making it easy to get around and enjoy everything Anchorage has to offer. It was the ideal home base for our trip.The host was fantastic, friendly, responsive, and helpful from start to finish. Everything was easy and well organized, which made for a stress-free experience.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Anchorage!

Excellent location for a few days in Anchorage. Close to everything you need and the walking/biking paths are so cool. Only downside was I didn’t see any Moose in the yard. I’ll just have to come back again!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Deanna & Mike’s beautiful place. We love it. The place is spotless and well appointed. They have a gorgeous outside yard space to sit in. The location near the coastal trail is a huge attraction, literally a 5 minute walk. This visit we saw a large pod of beluga whales swimming near shore. They have an eagle’s nest within site. The location is very quiet…..just the train passing by, which we love.

We enjoyed a lovely stay for three nights at Bootlegger Cove. Deanna couldn't have been any more of a welcoming and hospitable host, and even made sure we left with smoked salmon! She accommodated some disability devices for our stay which was above and beyond, and quickly solved an out of the blue event. As we had some guests with limited mobility, no stairs and walk-in showers at the house perfectly fit our needs. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Amazing place

Place was amazing. Clean, close to downtown and close to parks and hiking trails. Even saw the moose in the yard. Host is very nice and accommodating. We would definitely stay again!

Great house close to downtown Anchorage

Cozy home in walking distance of downtown Anchorage and the Tony Knowles coastal trail. The house was perfect size for our group of 5. Deanna is a wonderful hostess and provided some great recommendations for activities.

Perfect location in Anchorage to use as a home base to tour the surrounding area! The home was perfect for 2 couples and had everything we needed and more. Deanna was a wonderful host and answered all of our questions promptly. Would highly recommend if you are visiting Anchorage!

Great cottage

We loved our stay at Bootlegger Cove house. Walking distance to town and the scenic trail which is close to the water. House was updated and very clean.

Our Alaska Dream Come True

Everything was excellent! We had plenty of room in the house, it was very clean, and the location/neighborhood was wonderful! We met Deana while walking in the neighborhood - she was so sweet, friendly, helpful, and welcoming!

Great location, super clean, lovely place

There was plenty of room for our family of four. The property was easily located and in a great and quiet neighborhood. The homemade smoked salmon was a lovely touch when we arrived! The entire place was so clean, it had everything we needed, super comfy beds, and the washer and dryer were very welcome. We would absolutely stay here again!

Excellent Home

We stayed at this property for the AOGA Trade show. This home was extremely clean, nice and comfortable and the host was very friendly. I’d highly recommend to anyone!

Bootleggers Cove is a treasure in Anchorage!

This ADA friendly property is located in a quiet residential neighborhood close to the water and downtown. It has a great layout for families and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owners are close by and super friendly. Bikes were available for our use and there was also formation on favorite local restaurants, things to do, and don’t miss opportunities. We would stay here again, for sure!

We like how you called it “ADA friendly” because although the house isn’t officially ADA we try to make our ranch houses comfortable and as accessible as possible. Perfect Location

Our family of four (two late-teen kids) had a great stay at the Bootlegger Cove house. The location was ideal; so easy to get in and out to the airport, downtown Anchorage, and beyond. The location of the trail was awesome; I only wish we had more time to take advantage of it. The house was very clean and well equipped. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for the hospitality!

Alaska Adventure Awaits

What a perfect spot for taking a vacation in and around the Anchorage area. Our hosts went above and beyond to ensure a good time was had by all. The house was well stocked and cleaned. I would absolutely stay again. A special thank to their kindness you my11 year old nephew! He has been telling everyone back home about all the highlights which include basketball and puppy playing. Thank you!

Great property for couples. The layout is great as it was a duplex that had been renovated to one home. Main bedroom is separated from the other bedrooms by the huge living/dinning room. Great table to eat and play games on! Nicely outfitted kitchen. Bathrooms standard (no bathtub) but workable! We also saw the moose come meandering through the yard. So huge!!Some other items to note: trains, limited wifi, and no blackout curtains. It affected some of our party’s enjoyment. The tracks run around the house (we took that train to Seward and highly recommend). The WiFi did not work for any of our party 90% of the time. It kept dropping service. Most folks use their cell service at LTE speed. The owners are aware so they can problem solve for the next VBROers who are staying. Very firm beds for you softies out there. Bring your adapters. Only one outlet with USB ports.

Great house in an ideal location! There was plenty of room for our whole family to comfortably spread out. The hosts thought of every detail—the house was fully stocked with essentials (laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, quality toiletries), along with thoughtful touches like a first aid kit, bear spray, and local business discounts. Highly recommended!

The house was clean and perfect! The owners went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and to give suggestions of places to eat and things to do in the area. We loved staying at this adorable home and would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.
