NON-SMOKING PROPERTY. Located in Erindale Heights, one of the true hidden treasures of Colorado Springs. It is nestled away in a private 2.4 acres of land but surrounded by metropolitan amenities. Many of the area’s newest and most compelling restaurants, shopping outlets, and theaters are within 5 minutes away. It is adjacent to Austin Bluffs Open Space and Pulpit Rock Park which are known to be some of the areas' best open spaces and parks. Additionally, Garden of the Gods is within visible distance from our home and only 8.3 miles (13.3 km) away by car. Our location is also very accessible to the following institutions:

• University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (2.5 mi/4.0 km)
• Air Force Academy (3.5 mi/5.6 km to gate)
• Colorado College (8.0 mi/12.8 km)
• Peterson AFB (12.1 mi/19.5 km)
• Fort Carson (17.3 mi/27.8 km)

Really, a hidden gem!

This property is nicely tucked into the woods yet is literally minutes from town. Great property. The hosts have everything needed already anticipated. Our second visit and would recommend!

House was stocked with so much. Really can pack light staying here. Great location. We could be at South Gate to USAFA in minutes. So much close by yet feel away. Very clean. Excellent communication with owner (who is very kind btw). Beautiful view out back. Attached some pictures of view from deck (which we spent a lot of time on relaxing on large sofa). Highly recommend.

Excellent Host

Host was easy to work with and made sure everything was perfect throughout the stay. We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and the remote, relaxing location. Bedroom and bathroom layout of house is nice too. House was very clean and well maintained.

Absolutely gorgeous! The view is stunning. This was our first time in Colorado Springs and we really were able to enjoy the beauty of the mountains from the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom. The house itself is beautiful and very spacious. Most importantly, it is extremely clean! Its layout made us feel that we all had lots of room and never felt crowded. The pool is a beautiful lap pool. The owners of the property are so nice and excellent communicators. It is also located close to shopping, restaurants, and the garden of the gods. We definitely would recommend Hidden Gem while you are in Colorado Springs. By the way, my pictures do not do the view justice!

The home was absolutely amazing! The location close to everything yet felt completely remote

The home was absolutely beautiful! Our kids enjoy swimming in the indoor pool for hours. We sat on the deck and enjoyed the $1 million dollar view for hours. It's close to everything we went to Garden of Gods, Pikes peak, just gorgeous.

Wonderful getaway!

Wonderful home with amazing views! Perfect for our 2 families, the house was very clean and comfortable. The pool was a big hit, and the location was great- close to the zoo and some fun outdoor hiking spaces. Lana and Dean were very attentive hosts and have the home stocked with great amenities. We would definitely recommend this property as a beautiful retreat.

Just got back from an incredible stay in Colorado Springs, and this home was the icing on the cake for our vacation. The amenities were top-notch, well stocked kitchen, cozy living area, and a stunning view of the mountains. We felt right at home! It felt like being invited to a family members home; we had literally EVERYTHING we needed.What I loved most was the peaceful, private setting. It felt like you were high on a mountain but you’re really just a stones throw away from the city’s conveniences.

Amazing foothill home

This was one of my favorite properties I have ever stayed at. The location was so peaceful with amazing views. They literally have thought of everything. The house is so well stocked with towels, laundry detergent, spices. Communication was excellent both with labeling within the house and with text messages from hosts. It was a perfect long weekend get away.

Beautiful!

As the name implies, this hidden gem was close to everything yet felt worlds removed. We stayed mostly for the indoor pool, which was amazing, but also for the views. Everything was in order, easy, no challenges. A delightful experience!

What a lovely place!

This was our first visit to Colorado and I am so happy that we selected this place! Besides being beautiful and in an absolutely beautiful location, the home was so detailed and included everything one would need. The hosts put in a lot of effort with decor and resources. Everything is labeled, toiletries and other helpful items are provided. Check-in and information was easy. The hosts are easy to communicate with and they provide you with everything you need! It was a great stay!

Communication with the host was immediate to any response. House was extremely clean, so well stocked and organized! So much room!! We spent hours on the beautiful patio enjoying the view. This home was hard to leave. Thank you for sharing this gem with our family.

Great Place! Beautiful Views! And the Best Hosts!!

Hidden Gem has been the best stay by far and above. The entire house is wonderful, well stocked, and very very comfortable. We loved the views from the back deck. But most of all are the hosts. The very best I've ever encountered. Truly the Gold Standard of hosts. They did everything, and above and beyond to make our stay superb! Hint to other VRBO owners - you could learn a lot from them. Highly recommended and hope to come back some day. Thank you!

Hidden Gem is a jewel!

The views are stunning! Loved the rock formations. Family hiked to Pulpit Rock, swam in the pool for hours and played many games. We have chosen VRBO in the Colorado Springs area for the last 5 years. Each property was unique and we enjoyed the hospitality of each place. But Lana went far above in making us feel welcome. It wasn't just the welcome note, Memorial Day decor, flowers and a plate of cookies, which was more than enough, but she also checked in a couple of times to make sure our accommodations were okay. OH! I forgot the towel animals that delighted us all. If there are ratings for hosting, Dean and Lana are 5 star. Thanks for making our stay memorable.

Colorado Springs Paradise

Hidden Gem is our favorite vacation home and we have stayed in many. Pre and post communication with the owners was prompt and friendly. From North Denver the drive was only 90 minutes. HIdden Gem was spotless and beautiful. There were ample beds for our 3 generation group. Oh, those beds were a dream. Slept better at Hidden Gem than we do at home! The large dining room table fit all 8 of us for cherished family meals and game time. The highlight was the clean indoor lap pool. It was spacious enough for the entire family to swim/play at the same time. Swimming laps at daybreak was peaceful and energizing. The back patio has an unobstructed gorgeous view of the Rocky Mountains. We sat there to watch the evening fade and sparkling stars appear. Astrology apps were interestingly helpful. Hidden Gem is the perfect name for this amazing home. Book it.

Family vacation

The house has amazing views of the mountains and the kids loved the pool. The guys liked hiking the trail to Pulpit Rock from the house and our son loved climbing all over the rocks outside. There where 11 of us and the house was plenty big enough. Only disappointment, the house is not private despite the description. There are lots of neighbors not shown in the pictures. The master bedroom has an all glass shower and I got to watch the neighbor walk by the window while I was showering. The homeowners labeled literally everything making use of equipment & spices very easy. 😆

Thank you Sarah for the review. The property is located on a 2.4 acre lot. Our neighbors are not that closed to us, as stated. Any guest can Google the property after obtaining the address and see for themselves. It is true that master bedroom has quite a few windows to allow plenty of lights in. They all have shades and our guests can close them any time for privacy. Furthermore, master room is on 2nd floor and surrounded by plenty of trees and rock formations. There is one house nearby but it is below our house. We are disappointed in this review since we made extra effort to support Sarah’s larger group than the original agreed reservation.

Our vacation home has so many unique characters from a Southwestern adobe style, private balcony, heated lap pool, and 2.4 acres of land right in the middle of the city! The direct gorgeous mountain views of Pulpit Rock, Garden of the Gods, and Pikes Peak are all within visible distance!

The entire vacation home will be solely yours during your stay. Our property is great for hiking including our 2.4 acres of land and rock formations for you to explore. You may hike to Pulpit Rock directly from Hidden Gem if you are the adventure types. Hiking time is up to 40 minutes depending on physical fitness (depending on physical fitness and a good sense of direction) by crossing unmarked paths, ravines, and rock formations to get there. This is an area with great glimpse of wildlife.

Note, during winter season, in [rare] case of heavy snow, it is highly recommended that you travel in a high clearance and four-wheel drive capable vehicle with good winter tires in order to get through our paved but steep driveway. Otherwise, we would recommend parking the vehicles in the immediate cul-de-sac area.
