This very spacious and comfortably-furnished 5 BR house is in northwest Colorado Springs, located in an area near amazing hiking/biking trails, a beautiful park and both mountain and city views. There is a lot of natural light in the house making it bright, sunny and cheerful. Quiet neighborhood with wildlife roaming - you will see deer and rabbits, and sometimes fox, bear, bobcat, etc. Sleeps 10 guests (2 people per bed) w/walk-out basement that has a pool table, craps table, bar and exercise room. Minutes to US Air Force Academy, UCCS, Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, downtown Colo Spgs, Pikes Peak, and most local attractions! Decks off the back and side of the home with breathtaking views, large BBQ grill, gas fire table and seating galore!

This home is fully furnished and is available for Air Force Academy Graduations, parent's weekend, The Senior Open or longer--what a great place to enjoy while building your dream home! Make this comfortable family getaway your "Home Away from Home!" Enjoy all that Colorado Springs has to offer for culture, dining out, adventure and enjoying the outdoors! Or just simply hang out, unwind and unplug by making great memories together in this family-friendly property! You will hate to leave, but when you do, it's less than 30 minutes to the Colorado Springs Airport (COS) or about a 1.5 hour commute to DIA, the Denver International Airport.
THE SPACE:
The main level offers a grand entry with a winding staircase. Features include a front "formal" living room with access to a covered deck w/cozy patio furniture; a full sized dining room that seats 8, and large gourmet kitchen with granite counters and everything you need for your stay. Features an island for food prep/cooking, a large pantry, and numerous small appliances. There is a water dispenser on the door of the large refrigerator with an ice maker inside. There's a coffee station, microwave, toaster, and dishwasher. All that you need to prepare and serve meals is provided. (except the food!) There is a breakfast nook just off the kitchen with gorgeous views and natural landscape, perfect for sunny morning breakfasts. The table in the kitchen nook seats 6, with additional seating for 2 at the breakfast bar. The family room has a vaulted ceiling with an exposed beam, built-ins, and a brick-surround gas fireplace and access to the back deck that features a large outdoor dining table/chairs, BBQ grill, and another level that has seating around an outdoor gas fire table. The main floor also features a bedroom perfect for younger children/young adults. Marvel themed room with twin bunkbeds, futon, closet full of toys/activities and a TV with DVD/VHS player. A half bathroom/powder room is also on the main level. **NOTE** Main level bedroom is a kids room. All other bedrooms require stairs to access.
The upper level of the home includes a loft that overlooks the family room, complete with a fully functional organ, and office space to plug in a laptop (monitor and printer available). Master suite features a King bed, double-door entry, private deck, attached 5pc bathroom with jetted tub, separate shower, tile accents, and a large walk-in closet with built-ins. 2 additional guest suites (one King bed and one Queen bed) each with closets and private full baths, and a laundry room fully equipped with a washer, dryer, detergent and dryer sheets.
The finished walk-out basement is an entertainer's dream! It features an additional King bedroom with closet, full bath, recreation room with billiards table, craps table, full bar, and a work out room with equipment and free-weights.
The home is well appointed and includes wi-fi. SMART TV's or TV with streaming devices are provided for your stay. Feel free to sign into your personal streaming provider of your choice. 7 TVs total, each with a DVD player. Blu-ray players in master bedroom and family room. Enjoy watching your favorite movies with surround sound speakers in the family room. Hundreds of DVD's available. Disney+, VUDU, Amazon Prime Video, Paramout+ and Apple TV logged in on most TV's at no additional charge.
2 Amazon Alexa devices are in the home; one in the kitchen and one in the basement. These can be turned off by request.
Owned by Colorado Springs natives who are happy to offer entertainment ideas and local information. Easy access to I-25, allowing you to get to all the great Colorado Springs area attractions sooner than later. Want to ski/snowboard? Only 2 1/2 hrs to Breckenridge, Keystone, A-Basin and Monarch. White water rafting on the Arkansas is less than 1 hr away.
Owner's are constantly updating and improving, changing out furniture, decor, kitchen items, etc. as they visit/stay in the house often when in the area and when gathering with large local family.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
This home is in Mountain Shadows, an amazing location in a friendly, established neighborhood. There are spectacular views out of nearly every room of the home so guests will truly feel they have enjoyed the beauty of Colorado Springs during their stay. Deer hang out in both the front and back yards, and the home is a short walk from miles of trails in Ute Valley Park. It will be the property that guests want to visit again and again!
GUEST ACCESS:
Guests will have access to the property 24/7 using an assigned unique 4-digit code for the smart lock on the front door. NOTE: This property has outdoor only security cameras that are monitored by the homeowner at all times. No indoor cameras are installed.

No Garages available. No street parking. All vehicles must be in the driveway at all times.
Smoking tobacco, marijuana, e-cigarettes (vaping), or any other substances is only allowed at the back of the property on the concrete patio located outside of the walkout basement. Smoke smell or other evidence of the above INSIDE of the house will result in extra fees or loss of security deposit. No fireworks of any kind on the premises. This home is located in a "NO BURN AREA."
