Update: New Owner! We have installed all new bedroom and balcony furniture!

Phoenix West is one of the most luxurious condominiums on the Gulf! You can enjoy a spectacular view of the Gulf from the balcony or through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room and each bedroom. With over 2,600 sq ft the unit is very spacious and has the best views in Orange Beach!!

The unit is professional decorated with full-size stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry, wet bar with ice maker, 70” flat screen SMART TV in living room with flat panel TVs in the bedrooms, laundry room with full size washer and dryer. Keurig coffee maker in the kitchen. The master bedroom and second bedroom both have King sized beds while the 3rd bedroom has a Queen bed and the 4th bedroom has two Full sized beds. There is also a sleeper sofa Queen in the living room for sleeping up to 12.

There is a lazy river, water slide, outdoor pool with a fenced-in kiddy pool, heated in-door swimming pool, two Jacuzzi's, state-of-the-art fitness center, 4 saunas and roof-top tennis courts.

There is a 25 year old minimum age limit to reserve the unit which will be enforced with no refund for violation.

Parking: You must purchase your parking passes upon arrival, they are a one time fee of $58 per vehicle. Any 4br unit you rent at Phoenix West guarantees you can purchase up to THREE parking passes, the front desk will sell you additional passes based on the occupancy of the complex during your stay but do not expect to be able to purchase an extra pass during the summer season.

Run and don’t walk to rent condo 1509

My family and I visited Orange Beach for the first time April 3-7 for Spring break. It is so beautiful! However, the highlight of our stay was the condo and the host. We stay at VRBO or other rental platforms at least twice a year. This is by far the best place we’ve rented to date. The ONLY problem we had was that the cord to the smaller king room was damaged by the previous renter. I contacted the host and she delivered and fixed the situation herself. The place was large, spotless, the views were amazing, the beds were comfortable and the 4.5 bathrooms were an added bonus. Our entire family would give this place six out of five if we could. We will definitely be back to condo 1509 when it’s warmer! The hotel staff and security were all nice and answered all questions. I love a place where everyone greets you. There elevators and parking wasn’t bad either…My only regret is that we didn’t book a longer stay.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I can’t say enough about how beautiful the view was! The living room, dining room and kitchen area are surrounded by big windows overlooking the beach. Even the bedrooms had amazing views! The unit itself is wonderful! The balcony was a great place to drink your morning coffee or enjoy a good book while enjoying the sound of the ocean waves. We loved the lazy river! The location was great. We were close to restaurants, arcades, shopping and a grocery store; it was easy to zip over to Mobile or Pensacola to enjoy museums. The down side.... The mattresses were horrible! Our bed frame in the master bedroom was broken, every bed had sand in it and one bed had sheets with nasty stains. The sheets are as cheap as you could get. The floor was covered in sand. Sand on the floor was bad enough but if you walked across the floor in your bare feet your feet were black within minutes. I question weather the floors had been mopped in months. The kitchen cutlery and plates were a mishmash of odds and ends and very poor quality. I could have found nicer sets at my local thrift store. The TV remote in the living room controlled the tv but the remote to switch to streaming was missing. There was a second remote but it was not the correct remote. If the owner would invest a little money towards better quality mattresses, sheets, kitchen supplies and cleaned the floor and sheets better I’d give the place top ratings.

Cleanliness needs improved

We absolutely loved this property. The space, location and amenities were exactly what we were looking for. However, as other reviews mention the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The floors left your feet black, this was not just sand but the floors have not been mopped in some time. Also the furniture and fixtures had dust and grime build up. This did take away from the overall experience. A few more provisions provided would be nice as well. Just toilet paper and paper towels would go along way. We flew in so buying all those things was a bit of a hassle.

Nice condo

This condo has a very nice layout and is quite large. There were 6 adults and 2 children and we had plenty of room. There were a few dings on the cabinets but I guess I would expect that in a rental. The location is fabulous. Nice powdery whit sand beach - which if you have ever stayed on a white sand beach, it sticks to everything so be prepared to sweep the floor a couple of time a day. The only reason I gave it a lower score for cleanliness is that there was a fair amount of sand on the floor when we got there so we had to sweep right away. The pool and hot tubs inside were nice and warm, the lazy river was nice and outdoor pool was enjoyable for our grand kids… a little cool for me, but that was the time of year. There are beautiful views from the condo and a wonderful sunrise every morning . I would stay here again for think kind of vacation.

Perfect place for the family

Everything was so easy! This place was perfect for our family of 7. The corner view was amazing and we loved being able to open our sliding glass doors to hear the waves crashing. Absolutely perfect!

Loved the size of the unit!

This condo is a wonderful size when entertaining family! We had Thanksgiving for 12 and had plenty of seating/dining room. The view is amazing and the amenities are first rate. The floors were not as clean as I had hoped… needed a thorough mopping and the refrigerator did not cool well. The refrigerator ice maker was not working but the bar had an ice maker and we used it.

Labor Day Family Gathering

Yearly family beach gathering. Location is excellent. The condo layout and size is great. The balcony and is amazing. Easily accomodated 2 families and a Grandmother! One thing to note: Elevators can be backed up. The only issue that we experienced was on Check-out day - everyone was trying to check out at the same time. We were vactioning with another family that left on Monday (same as everyone else) and the elevator wait was around 1 hour.

Plenty big but not so clean

This condo had plenty of room but I don’t think the cleaning people clean it. It was dirty. If we didn’t wear houseshoes are feet were black from the floor. My grand baby looked like she had Walmart feet the whole time. It was kinda of a bummer. Also I feel like for the price you pay they would have more comfortable furniture on the balcony. The pools were great and the slide, our grand baby loved that. We will stay at the condo again. I just hope where ever we get it is clean.

Beauty in the Sky

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was beautiful and very spacious. We had a great time with family and friends. I had a couple of issues with the floors in the common area being unclean. It was obvious they had not been mopped, which I did with the small mop left in the condo, on Sunday after most of our group went to the beach. I swept first and found a used paper plate, straw, tube of topical medication, a small toy and foodstuffs under the coffee table. Also, the first night there we had to vacuum the sofa because of so much sand on it. Other than those issues the condo was great. One complaint I heard a lot was the fact there were only 4 elevators available for the building and on the night before and morning we left, one was broken and not in use. But overall we had a great time! The ease of check-in and checkout was wonderful.

Our First Family Vacation with my family

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed here with my fiancés family (in other units) and I was very excited to show my family how amazing Phoenix Properties are!!!! The location and views are amazing. The only thing we were severely disappointed with was the cleanliness of the property. We have never had this issue with any other unit we have stays in, but this unit was, with lack of better words gross. After the 1st night I had to wash the bedding cause it did not smell clean, everyone’s feet were BLACK when you walked barefoot or socks were stained black. On the last day when doing our walk through we found previous renters stuff under the beds (like used water bottles). The couches felt gross. This was a huge disappointment. I felt bad for my family as this was their first time staying here. I reassured them it has never been this bad.

It was the best vacation ever!

We agreed that we normally vacation and do everything we can NOT to be in the room, but this time we enjoyed being "home" then going out the beach, pool, or whatever. One of the girls said this was her home and we could come and live with her! Orange Beach is lovely and there was enough to keep us busy, even in December! We'll definitely be back! Oh and we had a small issue on our side with the scheduling. Our host, Charlotte was the best and worked with us on short notice. She is GREAT!

The Pros This was a great unit. Awesome for not just the adults , but kids too. Close to all shopping and restaurants. Correspondence was GREAT ! Check in - very easy ! The cons - Unit was not cleaned properly. Bathrooms had gunk all over and had to be cleaned. Floors were dirty as well. Broom was broken , vaccuum was held together with a zip tie. Bedding could be updated. Sliding door was not easy to lock, what so ever …. All In all , I would absolutely rent this unit again. It’s a perfect unit. Just needs some updates and a better cleaning crew.

Great Vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing vacation staying in this condo. It is a corner unit so the deck is bigger than most of the other units. The condo was very spacious with amazing views. The kitchen had more than enough utensils to cook if that’s what you prefer. It’s in a great location close to many restaurants, grocery stores and the beach of course! The pools were amazing, we have 2 little boys so having the option of the baby pool, middle pool and lazy river was great! With many large condo’s you can expect a wait for elevators which did happen. We typically didn’t wait long though. We will definitely be back!
