This lovely pet-friendly ranch style home has a great floor plan where you can look out at the canal from the master bedroom, living room, and all-windowed family room.

Sleeping arrangements include queen bed and bunk beds in the master, full-size in spare bedroom, and queen sofa bed close to the family room. The home includes TV's in living room and master bedroom set up with WIFI and ROKU for watching movies and streaming, and the stackable washer and dryer is close to bedrooms.

The fully stocked kitchen has all your cooking needs as well as a toaster oven for your fast cooking or reheating. Enjoy the Keurig coffeemaker in the morning, dinner and wine at night on the outdoor deck dining table!

You have a 75-foot dock available for your boating needs on the canal with the river seconds away, and the nice sized deck with a charcoal grill to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Indian River Marina and Howe Marina are close by and offer boat rentals and boating ramps to drop your boat in.

Located conveniently between beautiful Burt and Mullett Lakes, it is on one of the canals in a cozy neighborhood just off US 27 and 75 is less than 10 minutes away.

Within 30 to 45 min drive are many attractions from Petoskey to Mackinac Bridge, Mackinac Island and Tahquamenon Falls. In the summer enjoy fishing &/or boating on the water, hiking, bike trails, golfing and taking a stroll downtown to experience the fine dining, quaint shops and other entertainment within walking distance.
In the fall enjoy the Fall colors by taking a drive through the Tunnel of Trees at Harbor Springs.
Enjoy wintertime by snowmobiling on the trail system 2 blocks away, ice fishing,
cross-country skiing. Boyne Mountain is 1/2 hour away for downhill skiing.

We would love for you to bring your small dogs/cats to enjoy your vacation with, please be sure to add your pet with your reservation. (A $25.00 pet per day/$100 per week fee will be added).

Indian River canal front

Very cute place on the canal. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable, and they even had some laudry detergent. Location was excellent. It was close to town and Indian River Marina.

Great spot

The house is nice. Upgrades to the bed sizes would be great. And the outside landscaping Is all weeds, including when you walk to the front door. Removal of all landscaping would look nicer than the weeds. Great location and communication with the owner.

Great location, urine smell was intense in all carpeted rooms.

It was in a good location. Had some great space but couldn't use Four Seasons room with carpet and the bedrooms I kept my shoes on and did not let my luggage sit on the floor. The pet odor was very intense. I'm glad I didn't bring my pet. He does not have accidents but he would have learned some bad habits there. I hate to leave a bad review but I do not want anyone else to experience what we did. Just a couple other minor issues like no hooks in the bathroom and the screen door knob falling apart. Most of the smoke alarms have been removed. The TV in the bedroom didn't work because the remote batteries were very corroded.

Great location, updates needed

We stayed over the long 4th of July weekend and the house served the purpose we were looking for. It has an amazing backyard with deck and boat dock, making it a great location! I feel the home is in need of several updates/upgrades along with a few minor issues that we discussed with the owner. Friendly neighbors, easy to launch boat at Indian River Marina, which is within walking distance.

Color Tour

Perfection!

Our stay in Indian River was all we could have asked for. The house was in a great location. It was clean and had been carefully thought out to allow us to have all of the comforts of home. It even came with a card table and chairs - perfect for our Euchre nights! We hope to be back!

Second Stay

This is was our second time stay at this home and and it was just as great as the first time. We will be staying here again. We love how welcomed and relaxed we feel coming into this home. The owner is always easy to reach with questions. The neighbors are always friendly and helpful. We love that they offer the amount of days we need for our stays and, we don’t have to do it by the week or the month. Thank you for another wonderful stay in your home!!

Northern Michigan Tradition

Last trip of the summer

Weather was beautiful ! Needed another day or two to explore the beautiful lakes! The marina close by was so handy to keep our truck and trailer and the canal was perfect for quick access to boat!

Summertime boating

We enjoyed enjoyed the prompt and organized host Kris. This was our second time renting. Communications were timely and checking in/out extremely organized! Host is top notch and quickly responded to any questions we had. Property in prime location to Chain of Lakes and neighbors very nice. House has had several updates and four season room is the perfect spot for coffee and watching the sun rise.

Great Location

This home is exactly as pictured. We had a great stay and no issues. Well there was one, we could not get the TV to work. Tried it one time and then never bothered again and didn't miss it! Great neighbors too!

Great Getaway

Nice size ranch that accommodated our family and their friends. There was 8 of us and we had plenty of room. We loved that we could walk right out to the deck and get on our boat to enjoy the beautiful surroundings on the river. Very friendly neighbors. Everyone made you feel welcome!

stay at Indian River

House was nice but could use air conditioning. TV did not work when we arrived, but Dish was able to fix it. Refridgerator was huge and looked brand new. Bathrooms were updated and looked nice. Could use more lighting throughout the house as it was dark in places. Overall very good.

The listing was relaxing and in a perfect location if you desire to bring a boat. To top things off, the neighbors are super friendly which was nice! I’d definitely stay here again!
