The location of this home is perfect. Easy beach access and a beautiful pool for when the beach conditions aren’t optimal. We loved relaxing on the back covered deck.

Peaceful and tranquil view of the beach from top floor balcony. Great place to enjoy your cup of coffee in the mornings! Plenty of room for a large family. Pool area was clean and had a selection of toys for my grandson. Really enjoyed staying here with our family!

Great location

This was a great house for our group of six adults and four children to stay in for a long weekend. Location was great and the communication with the property management was really good.

Family Retreat

The location is perfect! Easy access to the ocean, unobstructed view even though second room, not too far from the bridge. The pool is fantastic!

LaTour family fun

We loved staying here. Great location, pool was the best and the beach is just steps away. We would definitely come back.

Amazing location, with beach access right across the street! The floor plan was perfect for our group, which included 2 small children and our in-laws. We really enjoyed the pool and the charcoal grill. The property was very clean, although could use some updating (for example, the decking around the pool needs some TLC).

Great location, easy walk to beach and amazing views. Owner was very timely in all communication and very helpful with any questions we had. House was clean and pool was perfect! Would stay here again!

Great location and wonderful host

We had a great time and any concerns were quickly addressed with the host. Loved the pool and easy access to the beach. The view of the beach is unobstructed as promised.

Great Place

The house is wonderful, the view spectacular!! Jaynee is a great host! Very responsive, gave us great info on the area. Highly recommend this house, the area and Jaynee!!!

End of Summer trip

Loved the location. The property was just as advertised. We enjoyed the pool and the decks, especially the little sitting area off of the kitchen. The house was comfortable and we took turns cooking meals. Would definitely stay again.

Fall getaway

Owners respond quickly and made the entire process easy from start to finish. Home is well provisioned and has great amenities. Excellent property.

The Perfect Vacation

The home was great. The location was perfect. The house was well stocked with plenty of room. The pool was the perfect break from the hot beach, especially for the kids. We’d love to come back again!

This group was fantastic! They were great renters as they did not seem like renters but more like they were the homeowner’s themselves. They are welcome back at any time! Hope you guys had a good time while staying at “Star if the Sea”!

Nice pool. Convenient to beach

Good location. Pool was used every day. Easy to get to the beach. Grocery shopping was less than 10 minutes away.

Amazing week!

This was our 2nd stay at Star of the Sea. We love it! The ocean view is beautiful, the beach and shells were wonderful & the house and pool were fantastic!

Amazing location in a great little beach town!

We had a great time during our stay here! It has all of the amenities we were looking for and the property owner was wonderful and communicated everything we needed to know. Even stopped by to start the pool heater which we really enjoyed, and worked with us on switching properties after a family illness prevented some guests from attending. So awesome to walk across the street to the private beach access! Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful house inside and out!

We spent most of our time on the back patio overlooking the beach with no obstructed views 🤩❤️. Owner was fast and helpful with all communication. Will go back!

July 4 trip

Great location, great pool, great views, large house. Any questions, any issues were handled very responsibly by the owners. Would consider renting this house again.

Family vacation

We have never been to Holden Beach before and we absolutely fell in love with it! Our weather wasn’t that great but we managed to make the best of it. The pool was amazing and the house was plenty big for all of us. We can’t wait to make another visit next year!

Check in was good. There are pots and pans and bowls and miscellaneous and so many different cupboards. Most hard to try to figure out where everything was at.

Thank you for your kind words. I guess because there are so many cabinets I. Kitchen and it is so large, pots go in one spot, fry pans in another, serving bowls/dishes in yet another. Plates in one…glass separate…we try to keep each format separately so we can do inventory control easier to ensure you have all the items you would expect in a top kitchen. But we are very grateful for your kind remarks and are always looking for ways to improve. Thank you!!! We welcome you guys back any time!
