In addition, we are just across the street from the public access of Dune Allen Beach with THE BEAUTIFUL WHITE SUGAR SAND and EMERALD clear water. It is hard to find a beach more beautiful than this one! Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. REMODELED featuring a coastal rustic design.

Sister week

Enjoyed this home for the third time with sisters! Love it! Love the upstairs balcony and proximity to the beach. Wonderful to enjoy the washer dryer, kitchen and baths. Nice beds. Hope to come again.

Family Escape

We enjoyed the privacy of the house while still being a very short walk to the beach. My kids loved playing the video game console after being at the beach most of the day. Relaxing on the back porch in the shade with the lake as our view was a welcome evening routine for us after being in the sun at the beach all day. Restaurants and shopping were just a short drive.

Small Beach Cottage

The house was great! Very close to a public access and easy to walk to. Pool was very close and didn’t have too many houses using it all the time. The AC worked great and the furniture was comfy. The microwave was a bit complicated to figure out and the upstairs neighbors could get a little loud but nothing at all took away from the trip. Overall for a small family it’s a great place to stay!

Thanksgiving Family Gathering

The property was perfectly located for our traveling family to meet with our Santa Rosa Beach family residents for 5 days over Thanksgiving week. The walk to the spectacular beach was a definite plus, as well as the porch view of the lake. Everything we needed was supplied. Some residue from previous tenants (cleaners we assume) and slow-draining shower drains were the only reasons for anything less than 5 stars.

Overall enjoyable! Would stay here again.

The size and setup of this property was great for our family if 5. Had almost everything we needed. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. We enjoyed the games and books we found in the living room and there were more than enough towels. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals but the induction stovetop and convection microwave were a little tricky to get the hang of. The beach is just steps from the property and the water and sand was beautiful. The public beach area is very narrow(18ft I believe) with private beach on each side. If you don’t get there early and snag a spot on the public beach area be prepared to sit below the high tide line. Florida Law says that sand below the high tide line is not owned by homeowners.There are security guards there to make sure you don’t sit on the private beach. Parking can be a little tricky if the top and bottom levels are both booked because both rentals share one long lane so you could accidentally get blocked in. I would have loved it if the property had a cooler for the beach but we made it work without it. The property owner was very responsive and helped quickly and efficiently if we had any questions or concerns. I would stay here again.

Nice vacations

The house is lovely, includes everything you need and is very well located close to a beautiful beach. Nice sunsets from the deck. The owners are really good and very attentive. One of our best experience renting vacations homes!

Great location

Unfortunately we didn't realize we had a bottom unit and we were up at 6am every morning on vacation because the renters upstairs were awake. Other than that awesome place. Love the location!

very nice place to stay driveway is only issue you have to work out parking arrangement with other guests so you don't get blocked in

The Perfect Cottage

We absolutely loved staying at The Pearl. I loved the decorations, the comfort and quaintness the small little touches, and all of the amenities you would need. All of the neighbors around were very nice. Plus, Roger and Heidi Christianson were the most perfect hosts ever. My husband loved the place. He loved the cottage!! He and my son loved the cocktails arcade. I always pick views for Randy. He loved The Oyster dune lake in the back, and ocean in the front. He loved the biking trails, fishing, beach and kayaking. My husband always supports local and national parks. Our favorite places to eat were Shunk Gully Oyster Bar and The Perfect Pig. We will be back, and I have 3 of my friends that are looking to rent here. I took pics of The Pearl and it’s surroundings. Most of my friends are engineers, so I had to drop a pin. It’s very close to Destin without having to stay there. It’s crowded. We miss being there already!! Warm fondness, The Lees Randy (29) Heather (29) and holding 😂Jack our son (16 this month)

Fantastic location! Clean and cute house.

We arrived a bit early and planned on parking at the house and walkimg to the beach to kill time and the host was extremely easy to get a hold of to ask this and and communicate with. House was clean and had such cute beachy decor. Kids loved their room! We had some issues with the freezer not staying shut but Rodney was super easy to get ahold of and talked me through how to try and fix. He was having it looked at the next week so shouldn't be a future issue. I didn't read about the no stove prior to arriving, so the convention oven threw but I'm sure we could have figured it out had we tried to use it again. Driveway can be tight but downstairs neighbors were easy to work with. All in all, great stay. Very homey. ❤️

Beautiful area

We stayed in the bottom unit. The decor is so cute. We were very pleased with the location. The views on the porch were beautiful. We did share the driveway with a very nice family upstairs, but we just exchanged numbers and moved our vehicles as needed.

Another great stay

We have stayed 3 times here. It is always clean and comfortable. The lake view is perfect. The pool is never too busy and everyone is friendly. The only downside is that the parking can be tough when bothbuostairs and downstairs condos are full as well as the neighbor house that split the drive.

Great location, cute space

We loved our time at the Pearl! It had all we needed for the beach... toys, towels, chairs. We were in the bottom unit and it was really loud if someone was upstairs, but we weren't in the house much anyway. The walk to the beach took about 3 minutes and we were close to tons of restaurants, ice cream shops, and bike rental places. I would recommend this spot for sure!

Great place and location

We had a good stay at The Pearl. The location to Dune Allen beach was fantastic. It is a quick 2-3 minute walk to the beach. The beach itself was quite but we did go in September. The bay view in the back was nice. Also the big collection of beach chairs, boogey boards and other toys worked out great for the kids. This is not too from walmart and publix to pick up a few essentials. The owners were very responsive. A few things that could be improved include: The internet in the bed rooms were not very good. The allocation of tide pods and dishwashing pods could have been more. This is a downstairs unit so if the upstairs renters are loud it could be bothersome. . Overall we had a great stay and really enjoyed the rental.

Property was amazing and just perfect! Immaculate! Equipped with everything and more. Open and bright! Beach during day and lake at night. Wonderful, relaxing stay with our family. The video games were a hit too!

The best beach house

We had the most amazing week at The Pearl. The house was very clean and the kitchen was very stocked with tons of dishes, cookware, and spices. The owners were so responsive to any questions that we had. We will definitely be staying here again!

The Second Story

It was the best week of 2021 so far! Having the deck with the aqua chairs was perfect for anytime of the day or night. Loved the easy feel and design of the house. Easy to rent! Just need more money to come back!!!

Growing up in Minnesota did not afford many Beach vacations so having this beach home is truly priceless! We wanted to to retire with a beach house and a cabin in the mountains. We now have accomplished this! We are young enough to want to travel in our motorhome so we are sharing our homes!
We are expecting our 7th Grandchild and we love spending time with all of them. Unfortunately, that involves traveling to Washington or Connecticut! We typically fly and stay a couple of weeks at each home when we go!

We visited this area first because our very good friends grew up here. We found the EMERALD waters and all the beautiful neighborhoods and amenities to support them so appealing!
We found this area irresistible and found this duplex on the lake and spent the next 4 months making it ours!
We are very pleased to make our home very thoughtful for anything you may want to do on vacation! Our home is well equipped with everything new and we are near entertainment for when you want to explore the area. We hope you will enjoy and care for our home as you would your own. We want to be your destination for many years!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The unique feature of this home is the expansive views of Oyster Lake and all that it includes.....the refection of the sunsets, the wildlife, and the privacy of this setting while being just steps from the pristine beach! We hope you enjoy the area as much as we do!
