This adorable beach villa on the west end of Scenic Highway 30-A is an ideal retreat for those looking for a wonderful lot with fenced back yard and rooms for outdoor BBQ. This home was completely remodeled in 2019 and offers 2 full bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, open living/kitchen/dining, laundry room, screened porch in front and back of home as well as a 2 car garage space. The opportunities are endless for this one but there is nothing that has to be done for you to come and enjoy it just how it is for years to come. Only 1 mile to Gulf Place/Shunk Gulley, Stinky's Fish Camp just one block away and Santa Rosa Golf and Beach Club is just one mile too! Minimum Stay 3 night.

Loved our time here at Hilltop! Clean, very close to the beach and fenced yard for pets.The outdoor grill was not usable - everything else was perfect and we ‘d love to stay here again.

The property was totally rehabbed as it said in the advertisement, a great backyard for a pet the most important thing is the house is one block from the beach a two minute walk to a great beach

The house was mostly clean but communication was not. The guest bath had a ton of mold and a lot of moisture coming from somewhere. We had to leave the air on so low so it wouldn’t get humid in there. So it was freezing. It smelled like mold the whole time. There was mildew under the bath mat. Location was good and accurate. Improve the things above and its a great house for vacation.

House was clean with a well stocked kitchen. We love to cook and pans were great quality plenty of utensils. Grill was clean and ready to cook on. Bed was very comfortable. Very close to beach and a great little restaurant on the corner. Was nice to see a small cozy home amongst the giants in the neighborhood.

We stayed here on a business trip. We are buying a house in the neighborhood and we wanted the stay close by. Can’t beat the location of this older home. We felt welcome and check in was smooth. The house is dated but you have all your essentials. It is right down the street from the beach! I can say that it is a great house for convenience but if luxury is your vibe, this is not it. Recommend for a short or budget stay.

This beach cottage is the total package - short walk to the sand and best all…we can bring the pups! We loved being able to easily walk back from the beach midday for toddler nap times, to cool off, lunch or letting the dogs out in the fully fenced yard to run around. We enjoyed slow mornings walking the dogs and toddler to feed turtles in nearby Allen Pond and evenings parked on the rockers in the screen porch.One floor living makes life simple for littles, pets and guests with mobility challenges. Seaside and Rosemary Beach were a fun outing, though we appreciated being on the quiet and less congested end of 30a.Sharon is an outstanding host and easy to work with.

Great house close to the beach

We were in town for a wedding. It was my husband, daughter and mother staying here. The location is very close to the beach with an easy walk. It is very spacious with plenty of room for everyone. Easy check in and out. Would definitely stay here again.

Spring Break Getaway

Great location, close to beach and restaurants. Easy 2 mile walk into town or quick 5 minute drive. Local food is great. House was clean, updated and perfect for what we needed! Please clarify door code instructions.....very confusing and had to call for assistance from both property Mgr and VRBO.

Relaxing week on 30A! Great location with easy walk and access to the beach. Home suited our needs. Front screened in porch was great for all our beach and fishing gear. Kitchen well equipped and beds comfortable. Livingroom couch and chair need replacing badly! Stained and very uncomfortable. Could not watch tv as nowhere comfortable to sit. Backyard needs some attention with dead bushes and overgrown trees. Our doodle was covered in briars/burrs first day so kept him in house with us most of time. A coded front door lock would be helpful as it was hard keeping up with keys. We actually ended up misplacing one of the two and found in pants picket when we got home. Landlord was nice and did not require a lost key fee. Overall the location of this home is its draw!

Great Stay!!

Great stay, close enough to walk to the beach, the garage was fully stocked with beach toys, boards, chairs and even a wagon which makes the short walk to the beach much easier. Floors were a bit dirty but we ended up wearing our slippers inside. Bathrooms didn’t vent very well, got condensation on the ceilings, may have issues there. TVs in every room which was nice and lots of places to sleep. Overall, wonderful stay. Wouldn’t mind staying here again.

Pet friendly?

We chose to stay here because we were bringing our dogs to the beach. Unfortunately the pictures online of the backyard look nothing like the actual yard. I never felt comfortable letting my dogs out into the backyard because it was so overgrown and the flowerbeds were completely unkempt. The location of the property was excellent and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately I would never stay here again since the backyard was unusable and also The kitchen was poorly stocked.

Clean and convenient

House was very clean, quiet, and convenient. Feels spacious. Property management very attentive bringing light bulbs. Had more supplies than is typical in a rental. Needs a new couch but I guess renters can be terribly inconsiderate and destructive. Bed Pillows need replacing- I always bring my own. Beds were comfortable. Very nice to have yard for pets and screened porches. Surrounded by nice homes, across the street from beach access. Restaurant Stinky's fish camp nearby was a huge disappointment, daquiris at bar for beach were good. Looks like they do live music several tomes a week but noise does not carry.

Great location. Updated nicely but with minor issues.

The house is very convenient to the public beach access. The beach is 1 block away and has a ramp that makes taking the provided wagon very easy. The house felt clean. The umbrella and boogie boards that are in the garage are all broken and unusable. Stinky's Fish Camp is right by the house and beach access. We ended up going twice due to the location and the food was great. Publix, Wal-Mart, The Donut Hole, Grayton Beach, and San Destin Beach are all within 10-15 minutes from the house. You can tell the house has been updated. It has new vinyl "wood" flooring. The beds are comfortable. The pictures are a little misleading. The back yard is no where as nice as the pictures show. The Back yard was overgrown and we were afraid to sit outside due to the potential of snakes being there. In the Master bath, the ceiling appears to have black mold and the shower door kept falling off the track.

We just checked out 6/26. The location was very convenient to the beach but there is a lots of traffic on the main road, so you have to be careful when crossing the street to the beach. The house was as expected from the listed photos. The yard was maintained and we loved having it for our dogs. Kitchen is well-stocked as well. Lots of beach items in the garage - chairs, wagon, boogie boards, etc. The house did smell like urine upon check in but over the week, I guess I became accustomed to it because I didn’t smell it as bad by the third day. They should have a bleach spray or something on hand if they’re allowing pets, but I didn’t see anything like that. There were a couple of floor vents broken, guest shower is broken (but usable), blinds really should be replaced - probably 50% don’t open as they should…. I notified the host about a few of these items during our stay. Overall we had a great stay, I think I would stay here again just not in busy season. The beach access is a very small section of public space and we were crammed in with consistent threats of the “boss” coming down and getting on to people about beach setups.

Perfect location

We loved the location. It was a quick walk to the beach and Stinky’s and an easy bike ride to some of our favorite spots along 30A. We travel with our two dogs so the fully fenced yard was amazing.

Great location but things could be improved

Location is perfect. Cleanliness needs attention. Like another review there was someone else’s bathing suit and shampoo in the outside shower. The inside needs to be cleaned better. Communication and check in was easy.
