This property has been completely remodeled to give you the modern amenities and luxuries of a 5 star hotel. This home takes you back to 1940’s Balboa Island. The minute you step inside the front door, you’ll notice the details, from the original wood floors to the charming gas fireplace. This unit has a front house with 2 bedrooms and 2 large bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room / dining room area to enjoy! A garage for parking your vehicle, perfect during the summer months! AC and Wifi throughout the home.
The back unit is a separate loft area with 2 bunk beds ( sleeps 4 ). This loft has a kitchenette and a bathroom with shower. It’s a great home for two couples to share, especially if they have children. A perfect spot for kids to hang out, with it’s large television and Xbox system.
If your looking for a quiet, relaxing, luxurious home to getaway, then this cottage is perfect for you.

AMAZING!
The property is absolutely beautiful! It’s well laid out, accommodated six adults easily, and was of course, close to everything. It was only enhanced by the beautiful weather we had. Our host was genuine and kind. No complaints whatsoever. Property was very clean and just what we were after. We will definitely come again!

Pristine Cottage
This property is our favorite of all VRBO’s we have rented. It is conveniently located, clean as a whistle, a layout perfect for entertaining, and a cozy living room complete with TV, fireplace and two comfortable couches for lounging.

Fantastic stay on Balboa
This home is wonderful. It is in a great location with a great layout and lots of space. We were very comfortable in the beds and the home is very well equipped. Highly highly recommended!

Cottage Charm
This is our third stay at this perfect gem on Balboa. It is so beautifully organized with every amenity you could think of, great location, immaculately kept, and great decor. The loft over the garage is such a great room I almost wanted to camp out up there for a night. Really a great stay!

We stayed here for our daughter’s wedding. Balboa Island is our special place and this rental was the best! Loved it!

A Little Gem
Once again Kris’s cottage provided a comfortable base of operations in OC. It was clean as a whistle and she is the opposite of Nick Saban in the VRBO ad…. Attentive and caring. We look forward to our next stay.

Birthday Family Reunion
Another wonderful stay at the Coral Cottage!
The home is lovely with special extra touches everywhere. A perfect place to gather with family, close walk to the charming downtown and the Host is very attentive to your needs. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Coral Cottage sets the standard for 5 stars
This was not our first stay at Coral Cottage and it hasn’t changed. It still has that newly renovated beach cottage feel with all the accessories that made us feel right at home. There is so much thought put into the preparation for each guest and we truly appreciated the effort.

Recent stay at Balboa Island Cottage
This little cottage was a gem and feel blessed to have stayed here.
Much appreciation to the owners for providing a superb experience, would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. It was very clean, bright, well decorated, comfortable beds and incredibly organized down to the tiniest detail, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. I don't know Kristin personally, but wish I could drag her to TX to organize my house.

Balboa Gem
This was probably our favorite short-term rental that we've enjoyed. Kristin was very communicative and was so accommodating of our requests.
The property itself lacks absolutely nothing and was just stunning. The impeccable attention to detail was very much appreciated.
If your family is ever in need of a just perfect stay in Orange County, I would not hesitate a moment to book this property.

Wonderful Fourth of July week
Our week was wonderful at this property. The house was darling, so beautifully decorated and every attention to detail was taken care of. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed during the week to make meals at home. We were comfortable, and the loft Space upstairs was absolutely perfect for kids. The owners were wonderful to work with, and they did everything to make sure our stay was comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful week at your home!
