This little Bolinas home is delightful -- quiet, off the beaten track, but close to places we wanted to explore or stumbled on (don't miss the homemade bread and produce at nearby Gospel Flat Farm). A few small amenities would go a long way toward a perfect score: More than one large/one small towel per guest, which makes a shower and shampoo a challenge, and perhaps a pantry basic like tea, and instant coffee that isn't long expired. What we'd like the most would have been a little visitor's guide, a list of local resources. We would've missed the excellent nearby cafe and market, Parkside, if a friend hadn't alerted us, and visitors really need to know where the nearest gas station is, because it isn't close.

My favorite thing about this home was the quiet. Total peace and quiet most of the time. The yard is beautiful and fully enclosed, safe for a pet or child. The kitchen is very well stocked; we had everything we needed for cooking meals. We stay in Bolinas annually for surf camp and this was our favorite rental so far because of the serenity of it. Wonderful place to unplug, but still be able to work remotely as needed.

Wonderful little house in a cute neighborhood, quick drive to tide pools and only 20 minutes to Stinson beach. It was perfect for a quick weekend away.

Everything about the stay, the house and the location were ideal. The home was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. While just my wife and I this home could easily accommodate two couples, or a family of 4. Walking distance to the village of Bolinas & the Beach, most of which could be traversed by a dirt path. Short drive to Agate Beach to watch the sunset. About a 4 mile drive (or run!) to the Palomarin Trailhead.

Great house!

My family has stayed here twice now and the house is wonderful! It is a great set-up with kids and I appreciate the fenced backyard. So quiet and peaceful and has everything we needed!

Clean and nicely decorated. The beds were good. We have stayed in other places in Bolinas that were disappointing, so we were a bit wary, but this place was very nice.

Perfect Place in Bolinas!

We had a great stay at Hilary and Don’s house! The house is in a fantastic location, comfortable and clean. It was a perfect place for my family to stay while we visited Bolinas. We will definitely be back.

Quiet Getaway

A comfortable accommodation, close to Pt.Reyes, Stinson Beach, and hiking trails. Bolinas Loop Trail was a favorite. We enjoyed star gazing in the evening and morning coffee on the deck.

Lovely getaway. Kind hosts.

The place is perfect—light, open, spacious, clean. We enjoyed our time away from inland valley high temps, as did our dog. We hope to return soon.

Cozy Get Away

This was a very cozy, bright home. It was very clean and the bedrooms were quite spacious. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck. It’s in a very peaceful and quiet area and we especially enjoyed peering at the night stars.

Bolinas getaway

Was a very clean, comfortable place. Short walk to beach and state park. It was private, quiet and well supplied. The whole area is beautiful. It was our first visit to Bolinas and the Point Reyes area. We were not disappointed!

Yoga retreat

My friend and I had a yoga training in Point Reyes. This home was a great place to be out of the city with patio and spacious backyard. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the gear we needed for our stay. It was dark and quiet at night which offered a blissful night’s sleep. Thanks for such a homey place to stay.

What a lovely little find!

We had such a great time at this little cottage….private, quiet, well set up. Dogs LOVED the large, fenced, secure backyard. They could not stop exploring. Nice patio area for dining any time of day. Had to contact owners regarding a minor blip and they were very responsive and great to deal with. Thank you for sharing your get away home with us!
