Dog Friendly

Wonderful being able to bring your dogs to a rental and have a place for them to play in the back yard.Comfy Bed and great water pressure.Lots of kitchen tools avaliable to use.

FANTASTIC location and experience

This stay was so lovely and it felt like home. We would stay forever if we could. Steps away from the beach. With bikes and kayaks there is always something to do.

Great Spot

We had a great trip! Fishing on the back to trips to the beach to lounging in the hammock. The back porch was a great spot for painting. We all wished we could live there.

Perfect getaway!

This place was a great home away from home. There were a few things we didn't do because of weather and time, both of which were out of the owners control. We had a blast. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. My son loved catching (and releasing) the fiddler crabs that were everywhere! The location, for us, was perfect! It was out of the busy area. We felt like we had the beach to ourselves. The only downfall, to me, was that there is only one bathroom and it was kind of small. Also, the 2nd bed (the inside room), if using as a king was a little annoying because it wouldn't stay together. Maybe a clamp or something would hold it together so it wouldn't slide. Everything was there! We had no need to bring anything of our own other than food itself. All beach toys, wagon, cooler, boogie boards, surf boards, chairs, and more! Overall we had a wonderful time and hope to return in the future 😊

Such a great week at the beach

Ms Elizabeth Met us at the house when we were arriving and gave us a nice walk through. The house was clean and ready to stay. Plenty of room for the 4 of us and the outdoor shower made beach trips a nice wash off. Cant wait till next time. Thanks!!

Awesome location and amenities

Place was amazing! Kayaks and canoes work perfectly lots of supplies in The Boathouse for the beach as well as the Lagoon. Boogie boards, beach chairs, even a surfboard! Both bedrooms were very clean as well as the rest of the unit highly recommend and we will be back

Toys for fun and relaxation provided, just show up and enjoy!

This group of a mom, 2 adult daughters and a 16 year old son had a fabulous time! Elizabeth is the perfect hostess... quick to respond to questions before and during our stay. Fabulous recommendation for surf lessons (LOVE Chili 🏄), restaurants, and groceries. The location is fabulous! Super easy to get to, easy to navigate the town, and the beach is really easy to walk to. Like, 2 minutes or less! Elizabeth provides a great little cart if you’re planning to haul a lot of stuff to the beach as well as a choice of beautiful umbrellas and even a tent that is super easy for 2 people to put up. (She even sent a YouTube video link for instructions! She goes way above and beyond!!!) The beach felt very private. There were only a few other groups within sight on the beach during our whole stay. (Not sure if this is the norm or a new norm due to covid. We were here at the end of June 2020.) The beach!! If you are a shell lover, this is the best beach! Lots and lots of beautiful shells! The beach is beautiful and clean. The house was the perfect fit for us. (Was planning on sharing a room with my son, but he happily crashed on the daybed in the living room.) Everything you need is provided. The decor is beautiful, I especially loved the artwork. Plenty of blankets for cuddling in the evening and morning. The bedding is the perfect beach house look. Oh! The sheets are as soft as butter! (Shoot! I meant to look at the brand! I’m always on a quest for the perfect sheet!) The outdoor shower works perfectly as a second shower for everyone to get cleaned up without waiting for everyone to use one shower. Honestly, both of my girls only used the outdoor shower. I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed our stay here. We will definitely be returning!!!

Great trip!

We loved our short little trip. We kayaked with dolphins and had a great day at the beach. Plenty of comfortable beds for us and our four teenagers.

Thanksgiving Getaway!

My husband and our two sons (17 and 20) had a wonderful time at this beach cottage over the Thanksgiving break! As soon as they arrived our sons went out in the kayaks to explore the canal! We walked on the beach at night and again every morning! They fished from the dock in the backyard and fished from the kayaks! We also went fishing at the National Seashore and caught 20 fish between them! The weather couldn't have been prettier! The cottage had plenty of room of all of us to be comfortable. I sat on the outside porch a lot! And, down by the dock! One of my sons commented on how the cottage did not have a hotel feel at all. They loved being within a minute's walk to the beach and being able to fish and cast-net from the dock in the back yard. Elizabeth was a truly wonderful host! She was always available to answer our questions! The trip was a blessing for our family!

Weekend Getaway

Family Vacation

My husband, teen boys and I loved our stay at a charming house by the sea. Elizabeth provides everything you would need to enjoy your time, relax and have fun. The house was clean, well equipped with towels, beach bikes, kayaks etc which allowed my family a relaxing beach experience. We have always visited the downtown Flagler side of New Smyrna but her beach side location allowed us to experience a private beach with beautiful views and sunrises. Thank you Elizabeth for a special trip & family memory.

Just right!

Elizabeth was easy to work with and communication was wonderful. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. She is very knowledgeable about the area and had both great area recommendations and answers to questions. The property is very clean and had everything in the descriptions; all in excellent condition. We used the kayaks and loved the location to ocean, waterway, dining, shopping, and activities. The outside shower is great to wash off all the sand. The bed was comfortable, wifi worked and kitchen had all we needed. During our stay it was very quiet; overall just right!

Beach Serenity!!

Absolutely gorgeous property!! So peaceful and just steps from the beach. And if you like to fish, you can fish right off the dock or, just grab a kayak from the back yard and head down the river that runs alongside the property! We took my elderly parents for a little mini-break and they didn’t want to leave! We all fell in love with the location of the property, as well as the property itself and the best part was...we could bring our little dog with us, with no problems at all! The owner is one of the nicest and most accommodating people, we’ve ever met! We will definitely stay here again.

Simply Awesome!!!

My Family and I had an amazing time. I loved that we were so close to the beach. I am so impressed with how much the owner made sure my family and I were having a good time, she always made herself available if any questions needed to be answered. Peaceful retreat

A perfect getaway

We really enjoy New Smyrna Beach and this was perfectly located-close to town but far enough away to be quiet, and even to see the stars at night. We fish and the federal park is only a few short miles down the road. The living space is fresh, clean and well appointed with what you need. We “eat in” most meals and the kitchen had everything I needed to make simple meals. We brought our little dog and the yard is fenced-perfect for our explorer! The owner was on site and very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely put this on the top of our list for our east coast Florida vacations.

We loved it so much we wanted to stay longer. It was sad leaving this place!

The owner, Elizabeth, was so very accomodating. She was there to answer any questions, make suggestions, give directions and help us with any special needs or requests. The rental is in a perfect location. Away from the busy, noisy part of the beach, right accross the street from the quiet, private part of New Smyrna Beach. We could hear the waves from the rental. Anything needed for a pleasant day at the beach as well as kayaks, canoes and bicycles are available to use.The back yard looks onto a Lagoon. We were able to kayak and canoe in the Lagoon any time we wanted. We saw dolphins, manatees, all sorts of sea birds and fish while canoeing. We were there for over a month and thoroughly enjoyed every minute!

The joy and proximity to the salt air, ocean's lullaby and ahhhhmazing sunsets are what bring the peace and tranquility of this beautiful area to life, and to my place, which has been shared with, and entrusted to me...so I share. I have the room to extend to you, the shorter versions of what I call, living a life through thriving, not just getting by and surviving. That's what life by the sea, is to me. (and my pup) xox wete upstairs, totally separate driveway and door entrance, yard, privacy for both of us, but I’m here to assist if you need it. And I have a seriously lovely space l’m offering to share with you.

Ocean, right here! Estuary to Intracoastal, just out back! So yup, kayaking and canoeing/fishing/shrimping, from back yard (there are 3, with a big canoe too) This place beats any condo hands down because you can skip to the beach. Private location, auto-free zone beach down here located in the county boundaries, on the edge of the city. 4 houses on the whole block and only one on my side...ME :). Basically water on both sides....Bike, walk, crawl, or drive if you must, to all things quaint and lovely as well as more active fun within 5 miles. Home of many names; Soulivin's Island, Jack Bunny's Beach House, Ebb N Flo's...NSB's best kept secret! Very quiet street so nope, not a condo or hotel, please have fun and enjoy but be cool and behave accordingly. It’s home. Smoke Free in, out, or around. Respect the rule :)
