Gorgeous 4 bedroom/4 bath Gulf Front town home at Portside Villas #5!

Spacious and beautifully-decorated with an elegant Florida coastal decor', this popular vacation destination features designer touches throughout.

Enjoy coffee in the morning on your deck overlooking the Gulf, or your private balcony off the master bedroom. The master bedroom is located on the 2nd level and has a king bed and small futon for child; the guest bedroom has a queen and and two twins, the guest bedroom on the main level features a queen, and the 4th bedroom has a king. All 4 bedrooms will have en suite bathrooms. At the end of a sun-soaked day at the beach, there's entertainment for everyone with flat screen TVs in every room. Enjoy the convenience of an elevator from ground to main level (for medical use only), as well as an enclosed two-car garage. Nice gas grill!

Portside Villas is located on the highly desirable west end of the beach, just before the entrance to the Gulf Islands National Seashore. Pristine beach as far as the eye can see! Portside Villas also features a pool and tennis courts.

Due to HOA regulations, two cars maximum per reservation. Absolutely no pets.

Property was great and a good location. Close enough to restaurants but far enough to be out of the traffic. Everything was great. I do wish they had full length mirrors in the bedrooms

Plenty of room for a multigenerational family, with a working elevator from the garage to the main level, which has a bedroom suite.

We had 4 days in the villa. 2 great beach days and 2 chilly indoor days. Either way we spent with the kids. Views were decent, location was good, had an elevator in it.

Nice location. Look at the picture of the unit close. It is very close to the beach (100 ft of boardwalk) but there is a Unit in between it and the ocean. Beach/Ocean views restricted. Managing agency very helpful. No hot water on 1/2 the bathrooms and TV would not work. Repair personnel responded very quickly and rectified all issues. Beach accessories in the garage (kids toys, and lots of chairs). Gas grill almost brand new and was key to our family beach day. The Elevator was priceless for our elderly guests. Fully stocked kitchen (dishes, tupperware, mixing bowls, pots/pans, blenders, crock pot, etc.). Great stay for our family.

Great place for family stay

Three generations enjoyed this lovely home right on the ocean. The decks both had a great view of the ocean, the rooms were big and each had a private bath. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare simple meals and the location was ideal...quiet and a few blocks away from all the action. Really enjoyed this little gem hidden near the entrance to Fort Pickens.

Fantastic!

Our stay was flawless…every couple had their own room and bathroom. We had a plumbing issue and the plumber was there before we even finished reporting the issue - lightening fast! We will be back!

Our family had the BEST week here. The location is perfect, we didn’t even have to put our shoes on to go to the beach. We had our three daughters with us, ages 11, 10, and 3. The house was clean upon arrival and just amazing. We would totally stay here again! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Great Condo for Family and Grandparents - ELEVATOR

We were looking for a luxury condo that had a full bathroom with each bedroom and (if possible) an elevator for our older parents who can no longer walk up stairs. This condo fit the bill perfectly. The condo was upscale and had plenty of room for all of us. Our daughter invited her friend and they had a blast as well. It was a fairly quiet beach which was also nice. All the big hotels, crowded beaches and restaurants were a quick car ride down the street. It was great. Thank you for having us.

The pictures of the property are accurate, the condo is spacious--clean and close to the beach-just a two minute walk. Property management very friendly and responsive; and did I mention this unit has an elevator which came in handy for loading heavy items. The kitchen was well stocked with useful items...we cooked every meal. I would definitely try to stay here again if the unit is available.

Pros and Cons

Nice in some respects. The “elevator” doesn’t go to the top floor-odd. The kitchen is narrow and has a washer/dryer in it. The dryer sounds like it’s about to go. This isn’t our first rodeo. Usually we stay at privately owned homes. This one is run by a property management company. Big difference. The usual provisions are not there. Two trash bags and “that’s the starter set-then you buy your own.” For $500+ a day, they can provide a box of trash bags. And lucky you-to take the trash out you have to walk to the tennis courts and open the gate and throw it in the dumpster. Unbelievable. Rugs curling-trip hazard. Rugs are Dirty. Couches and cushions are worn. We had to wipe out the oven cleaner-guess it was left on to work and forgotten about. Definitely not impressed. Not a do again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved Portside Villas #5--it was a great location and fit for our family with the space and views and access to the beach. A few things to mention though that could have improved our stay. We found several pots and pans that were dirty and greasy with food stuck to them that had to be cleaned before using--clearly previous renters had put away dirty in that condition but still not great to discover. The rug in the main area had food crumbs visibly in a lot of spots when we arrived. Our sheets were sandy the first night we got in them and we had not gone to the beach or anywhere outside as we arrived late so the sand was not from us. Also, there was only one set of towels per person in the bathrooms. Management should oversee quality of cleaning and amenities a little more closely before check in. In spite of these issues we really enjoyed our stay and space. Staff was responsive to deal with AC and elevator problems swiftly and offered great recommendation when we got a flat tire during our stay. We look forward to coming back again next year!

Perfect Location

Beautiful property at a perfect location. Comfortably slept 5 adults and 2 children. Only issue we had was someone before us had seemingly placed a fresh catch from the ocean in the fridge and the fridge smelled terribly the whole week we were there. Not much a cleaning crew can do to fix that with a short turnaround each Saturday though. Would highly recommend this property to anyone.
