Welcome to Island Royale 606, a stunning 3-bedroom, 3-bath Gulf-front condo, designed to be your perfect seaside retreat. Situated on the 6th floor as a corner unit, this condo in Gulf Shores offers a large private balcony, seamlessly blending indoor luxury with the natural beauty of the beach, accessible from both the living room and Primary suite.

The Primary suite is a sanctuary of rest and relaxation, boasting a comfortable King bed and a flat-screen TV, accompanied by a private bath for your convenience. In the second bedroom, find a cozy Queen bed, a flat-screen TV, and an ensuite bath featuring a walk-in shower. The third bedroom mirrors this comfort with another Queen bed and a flat-screen TV, offering easy access to the hall bathroom. For additional guests, the living room is equipped with a sofa sleeper and a 45-inch wall-mounted, flat-screen TV, making the unit capable of comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests.

Every Linen, Every Time: Liquid Life washes every linen for every guest. Every linen means every towel, every sheet, every quilt, and every pillow sham – every time. Inside our commercial laundry care facility, all linens are washed in our high-heat (150 degrees) commercial washers with our select, EPA-approved detergents to ensure complete sanitation. Liquid Life also follows specialized procedures to contain soiled linens and protect clean linens for every guest.

Not a pleasant experience

The day of check in we were told that we couldn't check in at check-in time because it wasn't ready, when we finally checked in, the whole place had a very strong bleach smell, the floors were oily and slippery. The next day we noticed a very strong urine smell after the bleach fumes were aired out. The bathrooms were in bad condition, the toilet in the master will probably fall apart on someone. The baseboards were filthy and broken, The refrigerator is very rusted. Bare minimum cookware and utensils. Absolutely no bedding for the pull out. No spare blankets at all. We have stayed at Island Royale several times this year and this is by far the worst unit we have stayed in. I would not recommend this unit.

Great location. Great room

Great stay and awesome location. The only thing that could have been better in our room would be the beds. They were older spring mattresses that were kind of sunken in in the middle. Kitchen, living room and balcony were all awesome though. Super easy beach and pool access. Would book again.

Great location. Not so clean

We enjoyed our trip. The location is gorgeous. This is our second time staying at this specific condo. I gave a 5 star review last time and notified the property management company that the condo wasn’t very clean. It was tidy but there was an inch thick of dust on the ceiling fans, hair on the bathrooms, etc. I was hoping this time they would have addressed the cleanliness of the property but they didn’t. It’s unfortunate because I spent my own time cleaning the property so my family was more comfortable. Other than that, everything was great. We will probably pick another condo for next time though

Love the condo over all but….

We really enjoyed this condo. It’s beautifully decorated and spacious and that balcony is huge! Our only complaint that we had was upon entering the unit, it smelled very damp. We then noticed that there was black mold on the shower curtains and the shower handles. Also the TVs in the bedrooms did not work and the one in the living room would only play one channel. (Nickelodeon). The beds could also use an upgrade to the mattresses they’re old box springs. Other than that, it was easy to get to, in a great location, quick walk to the beach. I would stay here again if they updated it a little bit.

Excellent for disabled, spectacular patio and view of Gulf

Wonderful experience overall, we had slight issue on the stove, seemed to have one burner that kicked into high despite lower setting which then set off smoke alarm, short period of panic but got thru this and got our breakfast finished. The patio furniture was very nice, needs more as we were 6 in a 3 bedroom apartment so had to bring up our folding chairs, the chaise lounge had a loose arm when we arrived so used our own chairs. The patio is so nice, the views so fantastic can forgive this easily, just used our own.. The beds were very comfortable in all bedrooms, AC functioned well, fan in the front bedroom over king bed, the linens and towels were all very nice, and all 3 bedrooms were en suite bathrooms, super nice. The person who interacted with us during our stay was very nice, quick response and helpful.Check in was a breeze as was checkout, great system worked out, very efficient and handled by text. Loved the pool and hot tubs, access to the beach was so well thought out and short walks for my guest with limited walking ability. Beautiful nature, beautiful facility, easy rules and instructions that made our stay a great experience. The elevator and the carts used to transport our suitcases and gear to our sixth floor made getting in and out of the condo and building very easy for all of us including our family member with disability. The Gulf shores area was fantastic, alot of fun by all. We will definitely return to this condo in the future.

Great place to stay

This was our second time staying at Island Royale. The rooms are very nice and spacious .It's located on the beach which is a plus and they also have a indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

Unit needs updated

Master bedroom mattress is very uncomfortable. You can’t get good sleep. This unit need darker shades in bedrooms. Needs to have more comfortable seating on balcony.

It was a really nice place, right on the beach.

Would love to stay here again, took our whole family and they loved it. The views from the balcony were amazing, saw dolphins almost every morning. Easy check in , would definitely recommend this place.

Shrimp Festival

Would have liked to have had more chairs for the balcony. There was no soap. But that is on the cleaning folks. Overall we enjoyed the stay. 3 bathrooms makes a great deal of difference.

Fall Break!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location- wonderful unit! The mattresses in all bedrooms need to be replaced- especially the master — a sink hole in the middle and mattress was uncomfortably hard! A blind must be put in master bedroom - vacation calls for sleeping in — not with that bright sun waking you up at the crack of Dawn!

Vacation

Overall, it was a nice condo to stay in. I just personally wouldn’t stay again. Perfect view of the ocean, lots of closets, heated indoor/outdoor pool, two hot tubs, walking distance to shops, grocery, and food places.Only thing I would of changed.. the condo says it sleeps 8, but there was only 2 balcony chairs. So only two of us got to sit outside and eat/drink our coffee and enjoy the view. And I would of preferred a regular coffee pot so we can make a batch of coffee for everyone but instead we had to buy kcups which are much more expensive than buying ground coffee and make single cups every morning for 6 people. Same with kitchen items, I wish there was a larger frying pan instead of a small one and having to cook 1-2 eggs at a time.. a crockpot would be a good addition so you don’t have to sit in the condo and cook all the time. There was two beach umbrellas in the closet but both are ripped and should be replaced (we ended up buying our own to use for the week). Again, overall it was a nice condo, staff was great with communication, condo was very clean, we just personally won’t be staying again.

Needs attention

There was a lack of supplies, i.e. hand soap, only 1 roll toilet paper per bathroom, there was not a toilet brush to clean the toilet daily. No extra garbage bags for kitchen can. No extra blankets. The appliances are outdated. A lot of rust inside the condo. No information on viewing the TV. The mattress in the master BR needs replacing; it sags in the middle. The floors need a good scrubbing, especially in the bathrooms. The shower curtain in the master bath is too high and kept coming off the hooks. Had to get my step stool to fix it at least 3 times. The view and location are great!! Overall, it was ok. These are just our observations and we would stay again. But it needs attention.

Bachelorette Trip

Friend Getaway

This was a great place for my husband and I to get away with a group of friends! We loved that it was right on the beach and close enough to all of the local restaurants and stores.
